Tunde was prompt and arrived with a comfortable and clean MB van. At our request, he picked us up at our hotel in Old Alexandria. We were aware that travel time would impact amount of time we had at various monuments. He had snacks and water available.
Our party of 5 were the only members of the tour.
Tunde was knowledgeable (including the best ways to safely avoid traffic) about American history and all the monuments where we stopped. He relayed interesting facts and other information. He was personable and all of our party felt comfortable chatting during drive between monuments.
He was concerned that we had more time at the areas where we had extra interest.
Our party of 5 were the only members of the tour.

Paid child ticket but my child didn’t have a seat. Not decent enough to refund me her full ticket. A complete waste of money. The description of the tour makes it sound as if we would have admission to the botanic garden and other building by staying “admission: free 20 minutes” but that is not the case. Literally drove in front of the buildings and saw other public places for a few minutes. Something I could of done on my own and at my own pace. Didn’t even give the free water advertised. I would recommend the hop on hop off bus. Much better experience than this bull crap. I requested half my purchases refunded and only received a measly $30 back. Not even the full amount of my child’s ticket who again, did not even have a seat and ended up on my lap. Waste of money and definitely do not recommend.

From the time Tundey received us at the hotel, he really made everyone in my family feel like we were a part of his family. His knowledge of all the monuments and museums on our tour really made me think he was an Historian at some point in his life. I would also commend his professionalism in dealing with a guest who felt compelled to talk over Tundey on several occasions. I hope that under similar circumstances, I will conduct myself with the same level of grace. I don't know if you can request tour guides, but I certainly will attempt to do so for my next trip to DC. Unfortunately for all the other guides, Tundey has set the bar extremely high.

Upon arriving at the Hyatt the driver realized they had overbooked and had to move some passengers into another vehicle, after first offering to split up our party (like that would have been acceptable). And another passenger gave up and asked for his money back. They appeared super disorganized. The 16 passenger van was cramped and not easy to get in and out of at attractions. It was crazy hot and there was no bottled water as the tour had promised. And the AC had trouble reaching all of us. The tour guide was ok, nice enough and shared some interesting information, but was far from knocking it out of the park, and it was difficult to hear him in the back row. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone else, pick a different company!

We had only 2 full days to tour D.C. The best overview of the city was the evening bus tour (Washington D.C. Party Shuttle) -- 3 1/2 hours of entertaining, fast-paced sightseeing, especially ideal for anyone who is visiting Washington for the first time.

Overall our experience did not meet expectations and I ended up leaving the tour midway through with my three kids. Here are the issues that we experienced:
- First, the email I received was very confusing because it both acknowledged that we requested pickup from the Holiday Inn Washington Capital hotel while still stating to meet at the Hyatt.
- I tried calling (left a voicemail) and when I did not hear back I tried emailing to find out more information. I needed to know if we were going to be picked up at our hotel and at what time. Again, I tried calling both numbers listed on the website the morning of and did not get a response.
- At 9:50 am (10:30 tour) I got a phone call stating that the driver was at our hotel to pick us up. We were loading our vehicle with our luggage and had to rush out with no warning.
- We took the van over to the the Hyatt. While waiting the driver spoke back and forth with someone on the phone about how they did not have our names on a list and that we were not scheduled. The driver kept confirming that he was looking at the email sent to me. I then started to figure out that we were being passed off to another company, Zohery Tours.
- While on the Zohery Tour we were very unhappy. Myself and my kids could not understand what he was talking about with the strong accent that he spoke with. I actually saw his tour on Groupon for much less than we paid All Washington View but specifically did not select it because of the many comments that talked about people's difficulty understanding him. The tour was so dry and hard to understand that it defeated the point of the tour. We decided that the tour was detracting from our Washington DC experience rather than enhancing it. My 10, 8, and 6 year old kids and I decided that it would be much better to just walk on our own between sites rather than continue with the tour.
- The tour was an experience that I was looking forward to and I was extremely disappointed that it failed all expectations. The communication was sub-pare and confusing and the tour was not enjoyable.
I requested a refund over email. I was told that someone from their management team would contact me. It has been 5 days and no one reached out.

We replied the customer ,offered her 50% refund and 4 tickets for future date on any of 5 tours we operate daily we also apologize for having a less than satisfying experience,the customer then decided to get a charge back through her bank and promises to give us a bad review on every platform.We decided in the best interest of the two parties involved to refund 100% of the amount the customer paid.
Customer confirmed amount was refunded.

If you're interested in a tour guide that states his political views the whole time...then this is the tour for you. Our guide for some reason seemed to think we needed to hear his views on things which of course is the last thing we wanted. By the time the tour ended, we realized our guide was an opinionated racist. He asked us if we needed tickets to Arlington because he had some on hand that he could sell us. He asked if my husband was a veteran and my husband replied that yes he was a VietNam veteran. He charged us $20 each for the tickets. When we arrived we went to the Arlington ticket counter and realized that my veteran husband could have gotten in for $6.50 and not much more than that for me. So we paid him $40 when could have gotten the tickets for less than $15. Beware of Viator guide, Bob. He is not good man. We were very disappointed that Viator allows their guides to voice where they stand politically and tell inappropriate political jokes, as well.

i am a travel agent and spent many hours choosing a DC tour. I chose the 3 hour Washington DC City Tour operated by All Washington View LLC, because they promised hotel pick up for 4 or more people. I could have chosen any number of other operators. I was at Arlington CEmetery for a funeral, travelling all the way from Florida. I booked thru Viatours, A Trip Advisor Company. I gave the hotel address and made sure they would pick my party up. I called ALL of the numbers on my invoice to re-confirm 3 times before my May 18th tour. It was always a voice mail. I called Viatours to have THEM call the number on the invoice to reconfirm and, lo and behold, they always got someone to answer! I even called and re-confirmed the day befor the tour, again, got the voicemail!!!!
The morning of May 18th, my party of 4 waited in the lobby of our hotel, the Comfort Inn Pentagon City, noone came........................Everyone questioning me, I felt like a fool, having arranged this myself. 2 calls and texts to the number on the invoice, again, a voicemail!
Its 90 degrees in the shade and now I have been waiting a half hour. I called Viatours ( in the Fillipines) and they got ahold of the driver, Larry, who said" we arent picking them up, there is a bicycle marathon and the main roads are closed"
Yes, I got a refund, but PLEASE, ANYONE WHO NEEDS A HOTEL PICKUP, CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!!!! NEVER A CALL, A TEXT, AN EMAIL, NOTHING......SURELY THEY MUST HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS EVENT!!!!
I WOULD HAVE MADE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS AND GOTTEN OVER THE BRIDGE IF I HAD KNOWN!
