Overview

This Segway tour is perfect for first-time D.C. visitors who want to see it all. Walking among sights in the U.S. capital can take up valuable vacation time, but explore by Segway with a guide, and you see the top museums and monuments and learn the lay of the land. Tour the Mall, Pennsylvania Avenue, and the Washington Monument while soaking up the city’s history.

What to Expect

Meet your guide at L’Enfant Plaza for your morning, afternoon, or sunset tour and begin your experience with a safety training to familiarize yourself with your Segway. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and bring weather-appropriate clothing. Note that participants must be at least 16 years old.

Glide around the Mall with your guide and see the Smithsonian museums, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and other sights up close without tiring yourself out.

Ride down Pennsylvania Avenue and see the Newseum, FBI Building, and National Archives. Learn U.S. history from your guide with a stop for bottled water and snacks (included).

Excellent Tour in DC

Segway tour is the best method to visit so many historic sites in DC and have fun at the same time. Amy, the tour guide, introduced the sites very well, including many museums, Capitol, Washington Monument, World War II memorial, Lincoln Memorial. Good job, Amy!
