- slivers3300Great for allBen was great and it was a wonderful bike tour around the monuments. He found out the president was going to be leaving the White House and we were hoping to see him. Unfortunately, within the timeframe we were allowed he had not left the White House, but a few saw him on our way back to home base.
- cathalm57500Excellent tour - highly recommended.Excellent tour. Our guide Joe was amazing, informative and enthusiastic. The 3 Hour tour covered all the major sites in Washington. Would highly recommend.
- Q5565MYsaraht00Fantastic ExperienceThis trip was so much fun that we did it twice in one trip! Joe was the ultimate tour guide that led me and a friend around during the day to see all the sights. It was so much fun that we took our husbands back the next afternoon/evening to do the evening tour of the monuments all lit up. It was an excellent experience. Alex at the front desk could not have been nicer and they did their job with such great hospitality. You have to check this out if you are in D.C.!
- Sarah Z00Best tour option - beats walking and bus tours! We’re so glad we picked this bike tour as our way to see DC Monuments! We had already done a lot of walking on our trip and knew that our kids were tired of that, so we needed a better way to get around. We had a 9, 11, & 12 yr old with us. They all loved it and were able to easily keep up. Even without e-bikes, the riding was fun and easy, not tiring. Also, the bikes let us get right up to the monuments, much closer than any bus tour. We parked our bikes and our tour guide been kept an eye on them while we walked around. We were able to get out & walk around at the: -Jefferson Memorial -Lincoln Memorial -Korean War memorial -FDR Memorial -MLK Memorial -WWII Memorial -Washington Monument From our ride, we were able to see the Capitol Building and the White House, but not up close. (They normally get closer to the White House but the streets are blocked off for a special event.) We also rode past the Vietnam Veteran Memorial and our tour guide talked to us about it. It was a wonderful way to see the city and one of our favorite days of this trip. Our tour guide, Ben, was great!
- erictherunner00E-bike monument tour of DCOur tour guide , Eric , did a fantastic job. His knowledge of DC was very impressive He, kept track of all of us ensuring we didn’t get caught at a stop light.
- 6ELC003 hour bike tour - fun time !James was our guide and did an excellent job! He had excellent info at all the sights and took good care of our group! Highly recommend
- lucyfromlondon00Couldn't recommend more highly - get Ben as your tour guide! This was an absolutely incredible tour, led by the brilliant Ben We went with our two kids - aged 10&8 - and did the 3 hour tour. It was perfect - brilliantly paced, Ben was amazingly knowledgeable (and fun) - and a highlight of our trip Could not recommend this more highly!
- jrdyer00Great e-bike tour of DC monumentsWe really enjoyed this tour. Very easy and lots of breaks to explore and take personal time. Cate was a great tour guide and the bikes were super comfortable. I highly recommend it.
- TKG400Monuments Bike TourGreat tour in DC. David was an excellent tour guide. Provided insight on alll the monuments and was able to answer the tour group questions. The bike trip is easy and safe, this area of DC is very accommodating for bikes. My husband had to change bikes at the start of the tour and my bike seat would not stay at the correct level, so recommend you check the bike out before leaving the rental location. Very easy way to cover four + miles of DC sightseeing.
- Culture45969900Safe, Fun and Informative!Sylvia was so patient. She gave us plenty of time training us on the Segway and instilled confidence and reassurance so we felt completely safe before we set off. She was knowledgeable about the sites that we stopped at on the way; just giving the right amount of historical depth to be informed yet not bogged down with too many details. She was such fun and the two and half hours completely flew by. She even gave us top tips if we wanted to go back and explore some of the sites at different times and in more depth. She even gave us museum and food advice, what a girl! Thank you so much, I can’t recommend this tour enough but make sure that you get Sylvia! Susan and David from Scotland
- Soo M00A great way to see lots !I love a Segway tour and this was a great one - zooming up the middle of main roads because that is where the cycle lane is was amazing and visiting so many monuments and buildings with Sylvia who was a super guide - good fun and informative - highly recommended.
- 502desmondc00Joe was an excellent tour guide. Just enough info on all the various sites/stops/monuments.A great experience overall. Good idea to do this tour on first day. Helps to get your bearings. Just the right balance of cycling, stops, time to check out monuments, information. Cycling was easy, cycle lanes safe, city very clean, bikes were fine for street and park terrain.
- eddiemac43600Best Bike ride in Washington DCBen was our guide and he did an amazing job. Saw lots, heard great stories and got exercise. Heavily recommend this tour
- Z9433TJlisap00Fun Way to see the monumentsGreat way to see the monuments. The guide provided a lot of information about the monuments and the presidents they honored.

It was great to be able to visit these sights at night when it was less crowded. The tour guides were knowledgeable and gave the group plenty of time to explore each site. Some of the biking sections were rather difficult in the dark because the lights on my bike weren't bright enough.

Shop is easily assessable. Bikes were of good quality and condition. Our guide, CJ, was friendly and knowledgeable of both the bikes and tour stops. Great way to see the sites and exercise. The approximate 4 mile circuit was reasonably flat and made for a good ride. Electric bikes are available for an up charge, but really not need for this tour. Highly recommend this tour and vendor.

I enjoyed the overview of the Capitol area and doing it by bike was fun. I think tail lights or reflectors on the back of the bikes would have made it safer. Or better yet, the ride could have been done in daylight. At times, it was hard to hear the guide. She could have worked harder to project her voice or she could have positioned herself in the middle of the group.

Bikes were great and we enjoyed the tour route hitting all the major sites along the route. It could be improved by having some additional guides with the group. We had a group of ~15 with a single guide. We’d ride to a site and then he would give 1-2 minutes of info and then give us 5-15 minutes to explore while he watched the bikes. With just the one guide watching our bikes, it felt like the tour lacked some direction at the actual stops. Additionally, he seemed to struggle in getting the group back together and moving to the next location. Overall a decent tour but we had just completed one that ran much more smoothly with 2-3 tour guides for a group of 8, included food, and was only marginally more expensive.

A family of four on college visits in DC. It was the first time visiting DC for our daughters (aged 16&20) and a guided sunset bike tour allowed us to cover a lot of monuments, spend some time outdoors and learn about the landmarks. Loved having it start late as it was cooler and you get a range of photos from day to sunset to night photos. Only con is that it’s hard to find somewhere to eat afterwards as the tour finishes at 9.30pm and most things are closed or closing around L’enfant Plaza by that time.

This was a very unsafe experience for our family. No reflective vests were given to anyone in the group. There were so many bikers that only the first three or four could hear the directions from the tour guide. She did not have a microphone. She stopped at the first two busy intersections and made sure the group stayed together, after that she just crossed on her own whether the whole group could get across or not. My grandson thought he was supposed to stay with the group and took off across the intersection after the light had changed and nearly got hit. The helmets had no lights on them and only some of the bikes had lights, and they were small and ineffective. My granddaughter did not even have a light at all on her bike. My other granddaughter had a light taped to the bike that didn't work. It was a horrific experience for us and we would never book with this company again. The only kudos we can givethem is that my husband was late parking the car and the group had left and the staff was very kind and friendly in helping him find the group.

My teenaged son and I took a mom/son trip for Springbreak to DC. We visited DC about 6 years ago and the bike tour was one of our favorite memories. We decided to do it again. While it was a bit chillier than the July weather we experienced before, it was a great experience. Bikes Unlimited was excellent to work with and our tour guide Wally did a great job guiding us around the crazy crowds in the National Mall during Cherry Blossom blooming time.
This is a great way to see the monuments and other DC sites without a ton of walking. My son and I both chose e-bikes for the experience as we were both fairly tired from touring all. Not a single negative on this tour.

We’re a family of 5, including kids age 10 and 12, and grandma age 63. It was a nice leisurely pace, and the bike seats were comfy. Getting to see so many of the monuments and memorials in one evening was awesome. They gave each of us a bottled water to carry in a little pouch on the front of the bike, which was much appreciated because it was very hot and humid. There were water fountains at some of the stops to refill the water bottles. Overall, a great time. The World War 2 Memorial was the surprise of the trip. It was beautiful, especially lit up at night.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because our tour guide seemed very new and unsure of herself. She was very nice, and did her job, but wasn’t the energetic, entertaining tour guide I’m accustomed to.
We wished we would have brought bug spray!

Was looking forward to this experience but was very disappointed. First thing, I asked for the attendant to lower my seat. He attempted and was not able to and just said "sorry". We headed out. 1 guide, 15 bikers. Started out pretty good visiting several memorials and spending approx 10-15 min exploring. Steven was our guide and he was informative. As the ride progressed, we found that the guide was talking frequently to the few people within earshot of him and anyone towards the back could not hear. Some of this was instructions which were very important considering that we were riding on and across busy DC streets. The info had stated that we would receive reflective vests and for that reason, I was dressed in dark clothing. They were never offered. A few bikes had bells but not all including mine. No instructions on turning on front light. No light in the back. It felt very, very unsafe after dark! I was very relieved to get back to the office which including riding on some high traffic roadways. I would not ever do this again with this company and can not recommend it at all. I feel they should limit the group to 8 people or have a guide at the front and back. At one point, my husband and I were not able to get across the 6 lane highway with the group as the light changed. It it had not been for another rider noticing, they would have gone on without us.

Great bike ride through the city and the best way to see the sights with you’re experiencing the heat. The description of the tour does advertise snacks and water would be provided but they didn’t. It would have been helpful to know that so we would be prepared ahead of time.

Do you have couples bikes? My husband is a great cyclist and I have a knee that works when it wants.
Will we get reimbursed if you cancel due to weather and will it be full 3 hours? Trying to make bus back to our campsite

Sorry so late to reply. They only reimburse if THEY cancel for weather. And since we booked thru TripAdvisor not the bike company directly they told us we needed to go thru TripAdvisor. I think viator was the link that pulled up, for a refund. We rebooked for the next day during the day so didn’t need to try a wrangle a refund but it sounded doable.

How far in advance will we know if the tour is cancelled? Looks like the hurricane from the gulf is about to dump all it's rain here. Wanting to know if we need to go ahead and make other plans.
Thank you!!

The MLK and FDR memorials are included. Both are relatively new, and are absolutely stunning. They were the highlights of the tour.

We will arrive May 5, via Amtrak with our own bikes. We would like to join your evening tour. We understand if you need to charge us full price, however, we would like to use our own bikes and helmets. Is that permissible?
