- O173JNkims00Must do in DC!This was such a fun family experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and kept everyone together on our tour. Would definitely do this again!!
- M6154ATdavidt00Night Bike Tour Mixed ExperienceOur 6:30pm night bike tour provided a mixed experience. Despite some rain showers due to uncooperative weather, we really enjoyed the sites we visited and were able to take some great photos. However, we encountered issues related to both the bikes and our guide that merit attention. First and foremost, we encountered some safety issues during the tour due to various bike-related problems. Early in the tour, my son's bike had an issue when the chain fell off the sprocket. Fortunately, we were able to diagnose and resolve the problem. However, as we approached the end of the tour, another participant's bike experienced a similar issue when the chain came off and stuck between the sprocket and the frame. It was concerning that this was the second bike in our group to break down, and also concerning that our guide lacked even basic tools, such as a screwdriver or wrench which could have corrected the issue. The guide had to request a replacement bike, but the only other staff member was already assisting another group with another broken bike. We were left with uncertainty about the duration of the delay. Eventually, one of our group members inquired with the guide and received approval for the rest of us to ride back to the store independently, which added to potential safety issues and frustration. With three bike breakdowns in one night, it raises questions about maintenance and safety protocols. Beyond the bike-related problems, the tour itself did not meet our expectations. Our guide seemed to lack the experience and in-depth knowledge that we had hoped for and his explanations of the sites we visited were too basic. Given the tour's cost and experience we’ve had on other tours, we anticipated more comprehensive and insightful information about these locations. In an effort to address our concerns, I reached out to the management and also requested a partial refund. They responded promptly with an apology and offered a full credit for another tour, which we appreciated. However, we were left disappointed that the decision seemed to disregard the safety and maintenance concerns we encountered.
- H5162RDelizabethj00Great way to discover the lay of the land!Great tour, I really enjoyed it, I saw a lot and learned a lot, I would definitely recommend as a way to see a lot in a short space of time!
- Q5565MYsaraht00Fantastic ExperienceThis trip was so much fun that we did it twice in one trip! Joe was the ultimate tour guide that led me and a friend around during the day to see all the sights. It was so much fun that we took our husbands back the next afternoon/evening to do the evening tour of the monuments all lit up. It was an excellent experience. Alex at the front desk could not have been nicer and they did their job with such great hospitality. You have to check this out if you are in D.C.!
- jrdyer00Great e-bike tour of DC monumentsWe really enjoyed this tour. Very easy and lots of breaks to explore and take personal time. Cate was a great tour guide and the bikes were super comfortable. I highly recommend it.
- Culture45969900Safe, Fun and Informative!Sylvia was so patient. She gave us plenty of time training us on the Segway and instilled confidence and reassurance so we felt completely safe before we set off. She was knowledgeable about the sites that we stopped at on the way; just giving the right amount of historical depth to be informed yet not bogged down with too many details. She was such fun and the two and half hours completely flew by. She even gave us top tips if we wanted to go back and explore some of the sites at different times and in more depth. She even gave us museum and food advice, what a girl! Thank you so much, I can’t recommend this tour enough but make sure that you get Sylvia! Susan and David from Scotland
- Explore0608817851100Great option for familiesThis was a great way to see multiple monuments and learn a little bit along the way. James was our guide and was friendly and attentive to everybody in our group. Our 10 year old felt totally safe, even when crossing big and busy streets. Very easy ride with plenty of stops (including restrooms) built in. Defininitely recommend. Remember to tip your tour guide!
- Soo M00A great way to see lots !I love a Segway tour and this was a great one - zooming up the middle of main roads because that is where the cycle lane is was amazing and visiting so many monuments and buildings with Sylvia who was a super guide - good fun and informative - highly recommended.
- DeniseS115900Try it - you will love it!Ben did an amazing job! The Segway was really easy to ride and Ben provided great insights during the tour! I can absolutely recommend the tour!
- Sharon W00Worth the rideBeautiful sites, especially at night. Great for taking nighttime photos. Tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, provided good context for information.
- 765rebekahr00DC trip with kidsSuper fun to ride bikes to the monument with my kids. They were ages 12 and 9 and we were easily able to do all the monuments and the White House in the 4 hour time frame. Had a great time! Pro tip bring a phone holder for your bike so it’s easy to navigate while riding.
- B C00Poor customer service - wouldn't recommendThis company has poor customer service. There was a major tropical storm impacting the entire east coast on the day of our tour and the company refused to refund. All of our other tours for that day reached out to us and cancelled and refunded us due to the major impact of tropical storm ofelia.
- Explore78384500It was okayI enjoyed my tour guide. Eric was very patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I was disappointed that, while we saw monuments and sites, we weren't able to get to close or even see the sites we were told about.
- cindycQ827IA00They would not let us on but charged us 198.00 because my granddaughter was 15 3/4, not 16. And the people there where so rude. There would not let us ride because my granddaughter is 15 3/4, not 16, and the people were rude, and they would not give us a refund. We paid 198.00 and got nothing, I just donated to a bad cause.

Judy was our tour guide and CJ helped made sure no one was left behind.
We did the 10am tour which I recommend as there are a lot more people walking around as the day gets later and it can be crowded to bike around.
Judy did a fantastic job shaking the history of all the monuments. She made it very interesting for the kids. We were a party of 9. 5 adults and 4 kids. They bikes to fit us all.
The area where you meet to start the ride is on the wharf with lots of fun lunch spots to eat after.
We never would have been able to see all the monuments had we not been on the bikes.

We only had one day in Washington after arriving from New York in the morning. This tour was a great way of seeing a lot of monuments in and around the centre. The tour lasted around 3 hours and was well worth the money. We upgraded to e-bikes which made a difference but there aren't that many hills on the tour so you would be OK on mountain bikes. Dave our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and very approachable.

Excellent way to visit the monuments. The bikes were in great condition (I had a Cannondale), the guide (Shawn) was very knowledgeable and the pace was easy. We had ample time to walk each monument and take photos. Our morning ride was small (9 riders) which was much smaller than the afternoon rides I saw the next couple of days. The shop attendants (Jason & Kenny) were friendly and helpful.

Perfect way too see the monuments and national mall. While the ti,e at each monument is limited, it was enough to see it and you could make a decision if you wanted to com back. Guide David, was knowledgeable and succinct, He gave a great few minute overviews of each monument, with importance, purpose, history and how to see it. He also knew the answer to every question. The company provided great Cannondale bikes and the distance was probably only 5-7 miles

Having been to DC multiple times and only visited the monuments on foot, I highly enjoyed this bike tour with my family who were first timers to DC. I would recommend a bike tour to any first timer, as it's the perfect way to get around and see all the monuments without getting exhausted by walking. The biking was very low impact with plenty of breaks. I also enjoyed the tour guide's commentary, and learned a few things myself. You do get a little bit of time at the each monument to get off your bike and take pictures, but note the tour has to keep moving, so each stop is fairly quick in order to cover everything. In the fall, the weather was perfect for a bike ride (70 degrees) and crowds were reasonable. I recommend this tour!

Our guide (Christen) was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was very friendly and approachable. His concern for his group was evident by his frequent reminder to hydrate due to the 90 degree heat. He was very successful in maintaining the pace of the tour , which can be difficult with ten people of differing interests and biking abilities.

The tour itself, led by Joe, was great. Lots of information, good pace, and enough stops so the kids could rest. The check-in process however was unorganized. One employee told us only 1 person from our group should go inside, only to be told by the person inside that we all needed to come in. Then one person told us to grab all 8 helmets, only to be told by someone else a minute later to put the helmets back. Combine this with bike confusion and being given bikes and then switching them out for no apparent reason, it was a hectic start to the tour. However once we got rolling, the actual tour itself was really good. If the check-in and equipment process can be smoothed out, it would be a home run.

Best way to see the sights in DC. Our four kids (15, 11, 10, 8) loved it. Our guide, Christian, did a great job of engaging the kids and giving us great information for each stop. Highly recommend doing this tour.

Judy is an excellent guide, adding value by telling the group interesting facts at each stop.
The tour was three hours but we’d have happily gone in further and longer, it was for us definitely the best introduction to DC.
Highly recommended, and you don’t need to be super fit or an expert cyclist

Greg was awesome! We ended up being the only two people that showed up for the tour, but they did not cancel! Greg took us on a tour of all the major monuments and was insightful and gave a lot of personal stories. Each stop was around 10 minutes, which was the perfect amount of time to take a few pictures and walk once around the monument. I would highly recommend this bike tour to people of all skill levels.

We plan to book for a bike tour with kids, 3, 11 and 13 years old. I am not sure if I should chose monuments tour or capital sites. I would like them to have historical information from the tour and also see the most important monuments. Which one would you suggest?

I recommend the monuments tour. My guide was very good at presenting the relevant historical facts and the monuments visited are majestic. The will leave your kids with great memories.
Are they places for restroom stops?

Yes often stops and bathrooms. However each stop is pretty short so you would need to make it quick

I believe that they say it’s four miles. It’s an easy ride though. The furthest in one stretch is probably 5 minutes. You’re at each monument for about 10-15 minutes so there are a lot of breaks.
