Was expecting to be part of a group tour and was surprised to be on my own. Justine was a lovely guide and had a clear understanding of the history of Waiheke and the Māori culture. The island is beautiful, the walk was very tranquil and the wine tasting was delicious. The restaurant chosen for lunch was lovely. Thanks Justine for a great day.

The views were amazing. We were myself (dad), my son and his pal. Justine adjusted our private tour effortlessly as these 16 year old adventure seekers wanted more of the danger, less vineyard beauty. Notwithstanding, she was able to connect with them as well as “adult” me and we were able to do both. I have never had such a wonderful guide and ill never forget it.

Gabrielle was the best - from touching base ahead of time to make sure we were good to go with the muddier than normal conditions and forecasted winds. She personalized our tour to what my three teenage boys were interested in. She provided a lot of history and additional details about the island as we explored the island. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Gabrielle was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable and passionate about the island she lives on and loves - It was a beautiful day with a great mix of walking, sightseeing, dining, and an enjoyable ferry ride to and from Auckland. Perfect way to learn about the Maori people and their beautiful culture - anyone visiting New Zealand needs to take the time to learn (and pay respect) to the indigenous people of New Zealand.

This tour was more than I could imagine. Gabrielle was so knowledgeable about the island and is a legendary local. She showed us a phenomenal time and made us feel like locals too. I highly recommend Gabrielle, you can't get better than her!

Gabrielle was a great guide; she made the best in spite of rainy day. She is very knowledgeable about the culture and enjoyed sharing this with us. Our tour included some wine tasting that was awesome. Lunch was delicious. Great spot. Also plenty of photo opportunities.

Booked the excursion only to find out an hour later they weren't able to put it on. They asked if I wanted to join another excursion. In the end, it wasn't what I wanted to do. Communication with them up until that point went just fine VIA the email/Trip Adviser booking. However, as soon as I responded that I'd like to cancel, I started getting return to sender emails. The first email happened well after I sent it. So, I thought they received my message and had canceled the booking which is why I no longer could email them. Boy was I wrong. They charged me and won't refund me the money. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them. They don't do the right thing for the customer. They just want to make a quick buck.

Had a great time with Justine. She was very knowledgeable about the island and its history. She picked a wonderful winery for lunch. Got to understand what the word "Batch" meant. It is a vacation home.

Our guide Justine was excellent. There were only the 3 of us (with my husband Neil) and by the end it felt like we were looking around with a friend. I can highly recommend this company-everything (including the restaurant chosen for lunch) was ideal.

We were expecting a small group tour, but it turned out to be just the 2 of us. Dell was our guide & was very easy- going & willing to share her knowledge of the island. It felt like spending the day with a friend. It was our last planned activity of a 2 week trip. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing day in a beautiful setting!

It was just a beautifully planned out adventure. A little hiking and a like wine makes for the perfect day. Our guide was so informative and kind. Can’t recommend this enough :)

Nidia (sp?) was a wonderful host to us. We learned a lot about Waiheke, enjoyed our walk and admired Nidia’s skill at shaping the visit to manage both our wishes and the vagaries of the weather. But the one hitch was meeting up in the first place. Clearer guidance on where to stand would help but overall if the various tour guide companies could pay for a host stationed at the ferry terminal that would make most sense

Really knowledgable local guide and beautiful walk. Local history, geography, flora, fauna and current regeneration projects. Well worth it.

The hiking tour we took of Waiheke Island was one of our highlights to the Auckland NZ area. Tyler, our guide was knowledgeable, energetic and FUN! I highly recommend using Terra and Tide and ask for Tyler.
