An absolutely magic day fishing down the Queen Charlotte Sound with skipper Mark, who was super friendly, helpful and has a great sense of humour 😉 Thanks so much for getting us out on a wintry day to give our lads a true Marlborough Sounds fishing experience, complete with us being lucky enough to bring home blue cod for dinner!

Great winery tour! Tour bus was comfortable and our driver/tour guide Sam was friendly, had a sense of humour and made everyone feel comfortable. Sam was very knowledgeable of the types of wine produced in the region and their production methods. Visited 5 different wineries which were all very good and had a very nice lunch at St Claire. Nice crew of people on the tour and the pace was very comfortable and not rushed. Would recommend!!

We were picked up at the Blenheim train station. There were 8 of us on the tour. We were take. To 4 wineries. Each was unique and spent time talking about their story and wine making. The driver educated us about the area as he drove us to each winery.

Really enjoyable small group tour visiting 4 vineyards for tastings in the vicinity of Blenheim. Charming and humorous driver/guide David helped make the trip very lively. The knowledge and expertise from the Vineyard hosts was excellent, particularly St Clair. Would definitely recommend.

Wines were not cold enough, but our driver was great fun! We had a good group of people and it was a fun trip. The full day may be a better trip.

Sounds connection made our stay in Picton unforgettable. Although our stay was a short one, only one day in the beautiful wine region of Marlborough, they helped us to have a excellent wine tour. Don, a very experienced guide took us from our hotel and drove us to wineries as: Cloudy Bay- the most famous one, but also to a family wineyard where we could taste white, rose and red wine. We also had a delicious culinary experience at Allan Scott where we served our late lauch and the dinner was absolutely fantastic at Harvest in a fairytale countryside with the wineyard just behind us. Hence, we recommend Sounds Connection and Don for their professional services.

They met us at Picton and were very friendly and informative on the drive down to Blenheim. The wine tour was good fun, a small group, and the driver gave us lots of local information and chose some good wineries.

I had a wonderful day wine tasting; the variety of wineries was great and we had a very nice sunny day!

Sam was a wonderfully knowledgeable guide on our tour around seven of the smaller wineries in this part of the world. Had the opportunity to taste many different styles of wine with a delicious lunch at St Clair Family Estate. Thoroughly recommend

We had such a great time on this wine tour! Our driver and host, Stuart, absolutely made it for us. He was an absolute delight and his anecdotes and warmth made the experience even more enjoyable. We went to four great wineries, it was very informative and very good value for money. I would highly recommend!

David was a great host/driver as he took us to 4 different local boutique wineries. He was full of local information and really seemed to care about our experience. Brigid & Kaz at two of the wineries we visited were also wonderful and really knew their stuff.

Sam was very knowledgeable of the local area and wines. We had a great time. We went to 4 different wineries and tried about 20 wines. Plus, had an additional trip to the chocolate shop. We were picked up from where we were staying in Picton and he kindly dropped us back in town so we could go for some dinner. Thanks for a great day!

We visited six vineyards over the space of a day with lunch in the middle. We sampled lots of wine varieties (red & white) and had some really interesting discussions about the different wines, methods of production, history, how the vineyards and wineries work etc etc. Also visited a local award winning manufacturer of gin & finished up in a chocolate factory. The guide was excellent & we throughly enjoyed the day.
