- aliciarQ9596JU0 contributionsWonderful day in the outdoorsFernando was amazing,He did a great job explaining the country. It was a beautiful view at the quarry and he picked a hidden gem of a restaurant for lunch.Written September 13, 2024
- dematteonick0 contributionsGreat experienceAwesome indepth tour that offered much more than we expected. Jorge was an excellent tour guide and he explained Estonian history, and information we would never get without the tour. It was 5 hours but we felt like we did so much.Written August 8, 2024
- 373we0 contributionsWhat a great experienceWe did a bogshoe walk with guide Marilin Pehka. Marilin is a true nature woman, in love and married to nature! She not only knew the route perfectly to walk safely through the swamp, but also gave interesting lectures on ecology along the way. A great experience!!!Written August 5, 2024
- francesr20170 contributionsGreat value; variety of things to see and do.Great trip - it helped that the weather (early July) was perfect, and the water was warm enough to swim (though it feels cold on initial entry). It was nearly a full day - leaving at 10 and returning at 5pm. Be sure to take trainers for the steep climb to the top of the quarry (optional), for the great views, and also long trousers/sleeves for the preceeding 'forest walk' (around the old coastal defence installation), to guard against nettle stings and insect bites. There are changing areas on the beach, though there may be short queues if the weather is good. The depth is variable - there is shallow water by the beach, which gets cloudy with the disturbed bottom, but clearer further out. There were inflatables in the water. The quarry beach bar serves mainly burger & chips, but the ices were welcome. We chose to eat lunch at the great little cafe at Paldiski before going to the quarry.Written July 14, 2024
- 882mettes0 contributionsA must-go-tour!We so enjoyed this amazing tour guided by Anu - what a knowledgeable and energetic local woman she was. Seeing some this country's wast nature combined with in-deep history explanations was breathtaking.Written July 4, 2024
- 550vadiml0 contributionsTallinn Old City walking tourWe had an amazing experience with our city guide! Stassi were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. Her insights brought the city's history and culture to life, and she had fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. Truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!Written June 17, 2024
- ellendB587QX0 contributionsEducational and fun trip through the nation parkWe had an amazing time during this trip with our guide Jorge. He could answer any random question we threw at him and learned so much about Estonia history, culture and nature! I normally get nauseous during long car rides but had no problem and there was a lot of legroom too with the group of 5 (incl. the guide). It was a really fun and relaxing way to learn more about the national park. Tip: you can get a 20% discount with the Tallinn card.Written June 10, 2024
- ridgesc0 contributionsUnforgettable experience! This forest trip was absolutely beautiful! Marta was very pleasant and conversational. She shared her knowledge about the country, culture and nature freely. Best way to gain an appreciation for Estonia outside the city!Written May 30, 2024
- DJ64_130 contributionsGreat day trip out of TallinnThis trip is a great way to see a few of the sites outside of Tallinn. The waterfall is particularly stunning and is Rummu Quarry. A varied and interesting trip which was well run and included a stop at a quaint country cafe for lunch.Written May 26, 2024
- 253noelj0 contributionsGreat Day TourWe had a great day with Andreas, he was very helpful and provided us with such a great insight into Estonia and the environment we were exploring. It was interesting to get out of Tallinn and see a little more of Estonia. Lunch stop was a very good experience. Would highly recommend this tour.Written May 23, 2024
- raemig0 contributionsDay Trip in Lahemaa National ParkHighly recommend this tour while in Estonia so that one is able to go beyond the incredible Old Town and see the natural beauty that Estonia has. As well as the Baltic Sea! Helena was our guide, and she was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, I felt like I had a friend for the day that told me all about Estonia, Estonians, and what it’s like to live in Tallinn. Our time at a unique waterfall and through a bog walk in the forest was beautiful and unique, but it was made interesting by the conversation with Helena, and her knowledge of botany, history, and her culture. Even down to her choice for a special lunch, Helena made me feel like I’ll be leaving Estonia a wiser, more informed, person. I’ll also note I had a lot of trouble in planning my trip to Tallin in regards to solidifying tours and private transportation. Several tours would not provide confirmation if only one or two people were booking, requiring four people to confirm a reservation. Prangli Travel confirmed the day before (and there were only two of us) so their ability to provide this tour really enriched my experience in Estonia. Very appreciated!!!Written April 12, 2024
- 849sharona0 contributionsA trip for all the senses!A fantastic personalised tour as we were the only 2 booked on for this day! The tour guide drove us in her car and pointed out lots of historical sights on route…once arriving at the waterfall she was happy to take photos of us for us and supplied a very local and handmade lunch of traditional Estonian food laid out with care on a cloth covered log..along with a taste of Tallinn’s traditional Vana drink. The only thing missing was a lovely log fire 😂it was definitely an experience we’ll remember and take a lot of Estonian history back with us Thank you 😊Written February 19, 2024
- Fiona C0 contributions10 out of 10 Laheema day tripWe thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Laheema National Park, which was greatly enhanced by our fantastic guide Christo. His knowledge, stories and sense of humour made the whole day so much fun. Being a local man who knew so much about the nature of the area and gave us fascinating facts everywhere we went was so interesting. The Jagala waterfalls were spectacular, part frozen and the Sagadi Manor House was fascinating, making me feel as if I was in War & Peace, and all just the right length of time at each stop. The Viru Bog walk was also great and we enjoyed seeing something a bit different. The beach at Altja was amazing, all covered in snow and we did enjoy seeing the coastal area. The lunch stop was also a highlight - delicious food and the hearty soups certainly warmed us up on a cold day. We felt very welcome in the local restaurant. All in all I would not only highly recommend this fabulous tour, a great day out and well worth the price, but if you have the opportunity you should ask for Christo as he just made it the perfect day for us. Thank you Christo - we so enjoyed your company.Written February 17, 2024
- Coastal654690754580 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic. Great views, great guide, great picnic, great tour. Do it.I cannot recommend this highly enough. 4 others didn't turn up so it was just the two of us with the guide who was super friendly (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) so we had almost a personal tour and it was so so good. We got loads of local history from her on the journey to the waterfall which took 25-30mins, pointing out landmarks and giving us local insight that we would never have got going on our own. Once there we had loads of photo opportunities and got to walk across the frozen lake and behind the waterfall. It was absolutely stunning, so beautiful. It was just starting to thaw so we probably got there on the last day of it being properly frozen (21st Jan). Whilst we were exploring our host set up a picnic in the snow with all sorts of traditional local snacks which were all really tasty and explained the history of them. So many little stories and facts. We even talked about how languages evolved in surrounding countries! Not to mention we got our first taste of Vana Tallinn (yum) and some home made tea which was also delicious. It wasn't the cheapest trip at around £70 each but we got so much more from it than we would have done just getting a taxi or hiring a car and would have spent almost as much. My only regret is that we didn't take any cash with us so we weren't able to give a tip which we absolutely felt she earned. Hopefully this review will act in lieu of that and more people will book on the trip! 100% worthwhile.Written January 22, 2024
- Kwikbooks0 contributionsHighly recommendThis was absolutely wonderful, Keidi was really knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It was minus 16deg the day we did this and we were handed out foot & hand warmers. A wonderful picnic was provided with local foods to taste. Very flexible & gave us car tour of old town as we were so, so cold. Highly recommend this tour.Written January 5, 2024

The guide Liina picked us up from the hostel and on the way to the waterfalls she told a lot about the history of estonia.
The waterfalls where very nice to visit and Some nice pictures where made.
The tour through the city was also very nice. There where so many stories to be told so in a short period we heard everything about the historisch of Tallinn and estonia. Liina is a great story teller!
