    Expensive when bad weather
When it is good weather it might be a great view up there, but when I was here the weather was bad (foggy, rainy) and then the ticket price is quite expensive - there is no discount if the view is terrible. They have a «good weather guarantee» when you biy a ticket, that is that you can revisit another time within 2 months when it is better weather. However for most tourists this isn’t an option.

    Go during the day.
I've been to the Teletorn twice: once during the day and once in the evening (for a discounted price). In the evenings, the exhibitions and shop are closed, and you don't get a free welcome drink as promised. During the day, everything is open and the experience is far more enjoyable.

Make sure to dedicate more time
I think it's very nice. The museum part of it is very interesting and interactive, and the overall experience was super nice. The people working there were super helpful as well. You do need to have more time dedicated for it, because it's further away into the city, and it will take time to look around and get back.

    Always on the Horizon
This narrow tower rises above the entire city and it seemed to always be on the horizon. One can go to the top to see the view of the city and the harbor. Not the most interesting thing to do in this lovely city.

Well worth a half day trip from Tallinn
Great visit … interesting information and interactive activities to learn about the tower. Amazing views from top as you’d expect. Nice cafe to enjoy drink/cake and the awesome view.

Very beautiful views from the top of the tower.
Amazing views from the top of the tower. On a clear day you can see the whole area. I visit on a Monday, very calm day no queues practically empty only school excursions, perfect to see everything without disputing a space with people...

Suprisingly interesting insight. Useful museum, great cafe and fabulous views
A surprisingly fascinating insight into Estonian history - and great views. Worth allowing more than the 1-2 hours suggested.

    Must visit when in Tallinn.
Such a fun experience, specially at the balcony with the high winds! All the staff so friendly and nice. At the top they have see through holes that might be scary for some to stand on, but so fun!

    Excellent views and great facilities.
Excellent views of the surrounding countryside and the sea with Tallinn in the distance. Excellent indoor views plus glass floor areas dotted about. The floor has activities for young kids as well as a vr experience at an extra cost. Good outside viewing area and small openings to take clear pictures of the views. You can also see the place where, if you are brave enough, you can arrange to walk on the edge in a harness. Not for me! Lovely views of the greenery down below and distant coast line areas. Nice cafe and restaurant area here too. Plain and simple but some nice cake treats and coffee. Excellent gift shop with a lot to tempt you. Enjoyed the simple history section on the lower floor too with loads of photos and interesting info on the construction. They also had a stained glass exhibition area. Good staff too. Can be reached by hop on and off bus and normal bus. I went via Uber. Not bad price.

    Excellent!
Very enjoyable, fantastic weather also helped. Very friendly staff. Views amazing and we also visited the Botanical Gardens (a short walk from the tower). Highly recommend this too.

A great view and interesting structure
Amazing views and a good interactive museum and history of the tower's construction, use and restoration on the ground floor. The attraction and cafe are expensive though, although we got a slightly better price for combining with the adjacent Botanical Gardens, which are also worth visiting.

Very expensive but a nice view
The price is a bit much for what's on offer. Nice to see a view over the city and the sea. Don't need to spend long. No ques which was good. Staff friendly.

Too expensive in comparison with the experience
The view from teletorn is nice. The tickets are over-priced why we felt disappointed. For that price, the view itself is not enough as an experience.

Around 1-1,5h walk from the centrum of Tallinn didn’t bother at all. Nice cafeteria up in the sky and also affordable souvenir shop.

    Worth the bus ride
Bit of a bus ride out but worth it. Good souvenir shop. Exhibition on the viewing platform explaining the tower but also another which changes. This one was science and biology. Good cafe and can go outside too.

The experience itself was great. No waiting around in a queue just go up to the desk, purchase a ticket and you’ll be walking on the edge in 5 minutes time.

My guide, Laura, was great, friendly, informative and just made the whole experience very pleasant.

Also, a nice feature is they take a professional camera up there with them to take photos of you and will send them directly to your email to download and save as soon as you finish. A really nice feature!

The only thing letting it down is the cost. It costs €30 lasts about 20 minutes. It’s a lot of money to spend but if you’re willing to then it’s worth it for an experience like this as it’s hard to come across such an experience anywhere around the world.

If you like thrills then you’ll love Walk the Edge. Our guide kitted us out in a harness, attached us to the safety track and took us for a 20 minute walk around the outside ledge of the tower. Oh and we were 175 meters up at the time!

I did the walk with my son and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Annika, did a great job of putting us at ease and she shared a lot of interesting information about what can be seen from so high up. She also took some great photos and sent them the same evening, all included in the price. All in all, I’d highly recommend the walk.

The experience was amazing! 30€ for a walk on the edge at 175m, photos of the experience and TV tower ticket included. Really cool instructor who made me feel safe, made A LOT of jokes and talked about the towers history and some local landmarks that I could try and spot. Loved it! Recommending it to everyone! Tho, keep an eye out for the weather! A really cool thing was, that all four sectors of the tower have different weather. You can be smotheeed by clouds on one side and enjoy the sunshine on the other.

Need a little thrill while in Tallinn? Then you should definitely go and do the Edge Walk at Tallinn TV Tower.
I visited in April - still low season with less tourist - so I was lucky to get the tour by myself with Rasmus (the instructor). Great guy telling you about the things you see while walking around the tower, and at the same time taking picture, which is included in the ticket price.
Thank you Rasmus! ☺️

The views alone from the top of the TV Tower are fantastic; however, the walk on the edge brings a whole new experience. We thoroughly enjoyed this and the views were stunning. Our host Laura made it even better - making us feel very safe, taking fab photos and telling us loads about Estonian culture. This was a must do experience, and Laura truly made it extra special - we saw so much, and learned so much! Thank you! Sara, George and Vicki :)

We enjoyed our visit to the Tallinn TV tower with amazing view of the city and fantastic food to match the experience. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. And we discovered the delicious smoked soured cream served with pancakes and caviar! Highly recommend for a day out!!

My partner wanted to do this, I was not quite so sure. I told Laura, our guide that I was a bit nervous and she immediately put me at my ease. We always felt safe, we were never untethered, even before we stepped out onto the edge. She talked about what we could see and about life in Estonia. I even felt brave enough to sit on the outside rail. Brilliant views and very satisfying to have done it. Something we will always remember about our trip here. Thank you Laura!

What a beautiful way to get a birds-eye view of Tallinn! We had a great weather - sun, no wind or clouds - and we could see it all. Definitely worth a try even if you're afraid of heigths as I cannot imagine a more safe environment to test your fears. We also had an amazing instructor Annika, who made our experience superb. An amazing sense of humor and knowledge of both Tallinn and the tower itself. Thank you, Annika!
