- Joyce L00Beautiful sightsThe tour was wonderful and Jorge was very interesting and informative. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because originally our reservation was lost, but the tour company was able to set us up with a private tour and it all worked out!
- steffih24300Interesting stopsGreat tour with Keidi! She was knowledgeable and shared a lot of Estonian history and information with us. The stops were also interesting and varied.
- laurabW7534MZ00Amazing tour guide and amazing tourJorge made this experience INCREDIBLE! Best tour guide we’ve ever had. I LOVED the Rummu. I wish we could have stayed there longer but loved each part of the trip. It was awesome.
- andycJ7219ZB00Brilliant!My partner and I loved this tour with Kris. We spent over 2hrs wandering the streets and Kris's knowledge was first class. He told us a lot about the history of Tallinn, its buildings (uses and architecture) and lots more. Our group also asked lots of questions which kept up the interest for everyone, including Kris! A voluntary contribution was gratefully accepted and he deserved it!
- lottep83100Great day at Lahemaa national parkWe had an amazing day with our tour guide Kaire! She picked us up from Tallinn and we first drove to the impressive Jägala waterfalls. Then this we went to the Viru bogs where we hiked up to the watchtower. After a traditional lunch we went to the Sagadi manor house and also visited the forest museum there. The last stop was the beautiful fishingtown Altja. Kaire told us many interesting things about Estonia and the Lahemaa national park during our day together. She showed us not only the beautiful sights, but also made us appreciate the wonderful smells of roses and the forest after rain! And last but not least she played traditional folk music for us during the drive. I would definitely recommend to book this tour!!
- ginak49500Excellent day trip to see Estonia beyond old townKaire was an excellent tour guide! Our family enjoyed the sights on the Rummu tour. We would recommend her and this tour to anyone.
- R7844XQbarryb00Fascinating trip to unique islandI went on a trip to Keri Island (which doesn't run very often, and which I'd really suggest you take advantage of if it happens to be available and you've already seen Prangli, Aegna and Naissaare). The cost was reasonable for the uniqueness of the trip and the amount of organisation involved. Keri is quite different from the bigger and more rural Estonian islands (such as Prangli, that they run more tours to). It's a genuine curiousity that's only 400m long and has an interesting collection of buildings including an old lighthouse (under renovation in summer 2023), soviet and earlier machinery buildings, a sauna (of course), and an accommodation building with some historical information and souvenirs.
- Stregaviola7600Amazing experience with the perfect tour guideWe decided to book a day trip to the Lahemaa National Park as part of our stay in Tallinn (June 28th-July 9th 2023). We were originally supposed to share the tour with another couple, but due to unforseen circumstances we ended up spending the day on our own with our guide, Helen. We started chatting casually as she drove us to the park in her car and never experienced a dull moment during the whole day. The trip itself was worth every cent: we explored the bog, walking all along the wooden path, then drove to an old fishermen's village (where we had a quick lunch on the beach) and visited a historical manor with beautiful gardens, a small lake and a greenhouse. As our final stop, we reached the Jägala waterfall, another magical place. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful and we are so happy we decided to book this tour instead of driving there on our own, because we would missed so many details about Estonian history, folklore and culture. Helen is an excellent guide: easy going, communicative and always ready to answer our questions with a smile but also sensitive enough to leave us some quiet time to spend on our own during the day. We had an amazing time and cannot recommend both the tour and Helen highly enough!
- 795arielas00Nice tour of nature surrounding TallinHelena was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and made the tour super engaging. This is a great way to get out of the city and explore the nature near Tallin. My favorite spot was the rummu quarry which was a super cool and unusual sight.
- SuciTraveller00Excellent Day Trip from TallinnWe booked the day trip to Lahemaa National Park for our cruise day visit to Tallinn. Our excellent guide was Jorge, a man born and raised in Cuba, educated in Moscow and now a tour guide able to give tours in at least four languages. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about natural wonders, geography, culture, history, etc. Our itinerary included a visit to Jagala Waterfall, hiking trail in Lahemaa Ntl Park, drive through former fishing villages, views of two historic manor homes, and a stop at Altja village tavern for lunch. The tour was most enjoyable and informative. Highly recommend.
- Jet51423100Great outdoor activityGreat Experience, very friendly and competent guide, got to learn a lot about the bog and its plants. A must if you like the outdoors.
- L6636JCannag00Great experienceI highly recommend going on a trip with Prangli Travel. I booked the Day Trip to Lahemaa Nationalpark. Helen offered a fantastic tour and shared her extensive knowledge about the nature, kulture and history in a humorous and passionate way. Thank you for this great day!
- Karo53600Nature is the best artist.Katie was wonderful. Very friendly and told us a lot about the history of Estonia. I loved her little stories. Initially I was in doubt as the temperature were a bit low. But I was bit disappointed. It was just great. I couldn’t have enough of it. Also the picnic was lovely in great company. The boys loved it, playing around the waterfall and hiding in the forest. Thanks
- annemayhogeling2900Off track adventure of a lifetimeAmazing trip; if you really wish to see 'the off tracks' you should join this tour. It allows you to see estonia as you wouldn't see it travelling alone. Hidden gems, soviet remains, historical highlights. Lovely guide and comfy van :)
- Farmeronholiday00Cross Country Skiing in TallinHad Cross Country Skiing trip and lesson with Katy in Nomme park ,Tallin. Picked up from hotel ,took us to Nomme Ski tracks.Basic introduction then had 2 hours supervised skiing. All ski equipment sorted out and correctly fitted. Also Katy was a great guide to life ,food and wild swimming in Estonia. She was very cheerful and patient. We thought it was definitely worth the cost for the 2 of us .

This was one of the best tours I've ever taken. It was just a couple of us, so our guide, Katri, was able to spend a lot of time with us, and show us many interesting spots along the way. Katri was so friendly and knowledgeable. After the tour, she emailed us with more suggestions of things to do as well as listing every place we had visited that day so we could remember all the names. Next time I am in Tallinn, I will ask for Katri by name!

We went on the Husky Dog Sled ride with Annika and had an excellent trip. After being picked up from our hotel we visited a museum, a frozen waterfall and then went to Korvemaa - an outdoor spots centre. The Husky Dog Sled ride was excellent, we had to control our own sled rather than just ride - which for us made it even better. We both took a turn to stand on the back of the sled and control the dogs. After the ride we went into the indoor picnic cabin and were given Blueberry Soup - a delicious, very sweet and warming drink. We were then offered the opportunity to try out the snow scooters. The whole Korvemaa experience was excellent, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the huskys were lovely. We had a great day made all the better by Annika who is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her country and it's history. On reading other reviews of Annika's trips if I go to Tallinn again I will book up early to ensure I get a trip with Annika as she seems to be a very popular choice.

Our day tour to the husky farm was magical- snow, pets everywhere (huskies, malamutes, horses, cat; all of which the kids loved), a detailed tour of the dogs, a short but breathtaking trip on the dog sled- silence except for the breath of the dogs and crunch of the snow, all followed by homemade sweets and fruit tea in the traditional and warm hut.
Annika and Pep were lovely, informative guides who spoke excellent English. Helle and her husband at the husky farm were friendly and generous.

We had our companys summer days in Prangli island. What a great choice! Excellent service, breath taking views, delicious food and overall a stunning stay. I woukd definetly recommend Ülesaare Kämping for smaller groups (max 24 persons). That stay made our stay! Really nice experience!

My wife and I had a fantastic day out with Kristiina and Triin from Prangli Travel in January when we visited the Husky Park. We were also able to stop off via Jägala waterfall which was an added bonus!
Both Kristiina and Triin were very friendly and knowledgeable - we learnt a lot about Estonia on our trip and I even got a short lesson in Estonian! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel as part of the package. The whole trip lasted about 4-5 hours.
The car drive was very comfortable and it was useful to somewhere to keep some extra clothes for the cold weather, and somewhere to put the camera when it wasn't needed.
The waterfall was very impressive at this time of year as it had mostly frozen over. Kristiina even took some photos for us and I am glad we had the opportunity to visit while we went past.
The husky park was great fun and we both enjoyed meeting all of the dogs. Unfortunately their wasn't enough snow for us to go on the sleds but we were able to go out on a cani-cross hike (the price was reduced to reflect this and we knew this might happen in advance). The hike was about 5km overall. It was great to see some of the Estonian countryside and we had another great chance to chat to our guides and the park owner Viljar. After the hike we had some more time with the dogs and then we were invited in for tea and a bite to eat.
I would definitely recommend booking an activity if you're visiting Tallinn, and we would be sure to do so if we get a chance to come back again - the trip to Prangli Island sounded especially nice.
Aitäh!

We had an excellent half day tour visiting a variety of places related to the sad days when Estonia was occupied by the Soviet Union - including an abandoned airbase, the television tower, the outdoor stage where people assembled as the USSR broke up. All explained much better than I can by our guide, Annika. It was a unique experience to hear first hand what it was like to live under Soviet rule, how terrible it was to live under occupation under Stalin, the liberation and subsequent success of Estonia. Would highly recommend on your visit to Tallinn!

We took a day trip to antennas national park and had a great time.Picked up at hotel ,comfy minivan for our private tour. Two friendly and knowledgeable guides who were good company. First stop was jagala falls ,mainly thawed but still pretty.Next we went on a winter wonderland walk on the boardwalk over Viru bog to the observation tower.A look around the small but really interesting forestry museum and lunch ( own cost but reasonable prices and good dumplings!) At picturesque SAgadi Manor was also good. Our final stop was fun, looking for elusive barbers on the river, we did see dams, gnawed trees and a footprint. The day ended with a drive through fishing villages. Great!

We engaged the Prangli Travel for a nature and snowshoe walking tour at the Lahemaa National Park on Christmas day. Not a typical way to spend Chritmas day for a family who lives in a hot tropical cosmo city like Singapore. Somehow we enjoyed every minute of it. Annika and her husband played a key role to it, with lots of personal touches which were often missing from bigger travel agencies.
The Lahemaa National Park was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. What a break from the maddening crowd and the noises from the city. The air was clear and crisp. It was snowing that day, which made everything more magical. After about a 3km walk, we were hungry like wolves. The homemade sandwiches and hot soup were delicious. For the occassion, Annika brought us Christmas fruit cakes baked by her mother in law which were equally delicious.
Overall, everything went prefectly fine and the family really enjoyed it. It was an unforgettable Christmas for all of us.

We enjoyed a terrific day trip to Prangli Island! Our tour began at 8:00AM outside the Riga Tourist Office in Old Town. We were met there by Annika, the principal of Prangli Island Day Trips. The three of us took a prearranged taxi to the ferry terminal near Pirita Beach. Our fellow travelers, 10 residents of Estonia, joined us at the ferry. We left Tallinn at 9:00AM and were on Prangli Island at 10:00AM – a very quick and gentle ferry ride.
Once at Prangli, we all piled into the back of an old Russian truck and our explorations began. Throughout our journey, Annika provided ongoing commentary (in both English and Estonian) to provide insights into how the locals lived in the past and how they live on the island now. In particular, we visited the Prangli Saarte Museum, located close to the center of the island, which holds many interesting items pertaining to the island’s fishing and seal hunting industries. Next we drove a bit further north and stopped at the Rahvamaja Community Centre. It is used for community events such as banquets, weddings, etc. Then, we were off to the Prangli Church. Behind it is an elevated cemetery with many iron crosses as well as some more modern headstones.
A hot lunch was prepared for us by a local woman. We enjoyed it while relaxing in a wooden cabin built near some rental cabins. It was a delicious meal of fresh local fish, rice and salad and it was followed by sweets and peppermint tea. After enjoying ourselves, we were given a couple of hours to wander about on our own. We choose to walk along the sea coast to take some scenic shots of the ocean and shoreline.
Afterwards, it was time to walk back to the port and catch the return ferry back to mainland Estonia. After landing, we said goodbye to our Estonian companions. Then, Annika accompanied us back to our hotel (the same driver who took us to the port was waiting for us when the ferry returned to the mainland). We returned at 6:00PM after enjoying a very informative trip during which we learned a lot about the culture and people of Prangli Island as well as viewing some beautiful natural scenery.
We enjoyed a great day out and can highly recommend the tour. Annika makes it fun, interesting and a great value!
