My (adult) daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the night canoe tour. As we didn't have our own vehicle, or know the town at all, we appreciated that Janis picked us up at our hotel. It's important to dress for the weather for this outing. We were fortunate that the warm fall evening provided ideal weather and conditions. The peacefulness of paddling through the calm waters while taking in the stunning city lights reflecting off the surface was incredible. It offered a completely different perspective of Klaipeda. Janis was not only knowledgeable about the area, and great at explaining the basics of canoeing, but also made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the tour. There were only two groups/canoes on this tour, so the introduction and practice paddling went quickly. We were on the water for a little over an hour, which felt like just the right amount of time. It's not a strenuous activity, so it would be suitable for almost anyone. We had plenty of time to take photos and Janis took photos of each group along the way. The canoes and paddles are beautifully hand-crafted by Janis. My daughter said it was the most comfortable canoe she's ever been in. This tour is a must-do for anyone looking to explore the city in a unique and peaceful way. Highly recommended!

Our second experience with Wet Weim and it was just as great as our first. The views were breathtaking. We have visited the Curonian Spit many times, but seeing the Dunes from the side of the Curonian Lagoon was something unique. Janis is an excellent and caring guide, I recommend him 100%

Unique view of the Old Town from the water. We met the group around sunset, which in July was around 10PM; Janis provided beautiful cedar strip canoes, good equipment and paddling instruction. With a lighted torch standing in the bow of the canoe, we paddled off to explore the waterway. Make sure you let Janis know if you already know how to paddle a canoe, this can save you some aggravation before launch and get you on the water sooner. The paddle is not really a "guided" tour, you have a route to follow and Janis is never far away, but you can explore independently.

This was our second experience with Wet Weim and it was as brilliant as the first one. Janis - the guide and the person behind Wet Weim - is as always kind, genuinely interested and passionate, and caring. The views were breathtaking. Being a Lithuanian I have visited Kuršių Nerija many times before, but I saw the Dunes very differently and it was truly a unique sight. Canoeing itself was very pleasant. Janis ensured we travelled when the wind and waves were mild so that we could all comfortably paddle aroud.

We went on the Mighty Sands tour, and what a fantastic day we had. Neither of us had had any recent experience in canoeing, but all our concerns dissipated thanks to our fabulous guide Janis – as smart and patient and informed about this beautiful part of the world as anyone you could wish. Highlights included canoeing past a lighthouse, stopping at the foot of a dramatic wall of sand set against the blue sky, and paddling past beds of reeds where innumerable hidden birds called out to each other. Even more memorable was our delicious picnic… complete with fresh coffee and chocolates. Whole-heartedly recommended!

I absolutely loved this experience as from the booking till the moment of the drop off at the hotel the communication with Wet Weim went perfectly! The beauty of the Curonian Spit is something that one needs to experience and doing it through the water os an unique and special way of doing so, that i would really recommend to everyone. Although i never canoed in my life, with the guidance of our guide, i enjoyed every second of our tour. Be sure to also book the picknick so hou can enjoy s bit of luxury after your hard work!

We enjoyed a very interesting and informative trip with our guide. It was lovely to paddle down the river and see all the wetlands, building and bridges.

We had an amazing time with Janis, he came to pick us up at the hotel and took good care of us, on the land and in the sea. He explained thoroughly how to ride a canoe from the front and in the back, explained how much time it took him to build it and so on. We had a nice break for a pic nic in a very nice spot and then rode back. I highly recommend this tour with Janis!

We took a daytrip to Zemaitija region. Janis is an excellent guide and canoe instructor and took good care of us and our 2 children. The wooden canoes were expertly made. We enjoyed the calm lake and unspoiled nature of the national park.

We booked this the day before we arrived in Klaipeda as part of a cruise. Janis was very clear and communicative over email which was very reassuring in the build up. He picked a group of us up from our ship and drove us to a remote and tranquil area to canoe (in phenomenal boats he had made himself) along the Curonian spit. Janis taught us how to paddle in a canoe compared to a kayak and got us out on the water. The surroundings were beautiful and we got to see lots of wildlife. Janis took great photos of all the boats and also used his drone to create some really impressive birds eye view photos. On the way back we stopped on the beach for a picnic he had prepared. It's a fair few hours on the water so be prepared for a bit of a workout. Janis drove us back to the cruise ship after. This is a brilliant opportunity to make your holiday or cruise stop extra special. Janis is a fantastic guide, incredibly helpful and well prepared. Would definitely recommend.

The experience was exactly what we expected if not better. For the price I definitely recommend. The view was absolutely stunning and it was a nice change in the type of activities offered in Klaipeda. You are given time to practise canoeing before setting off on the tour so it all goes smoothly. The guide was very friendly and was able to communicate perfectly with my boyfriend who only speaks English. Very fun experience and will do it again when I come back to lithuania with my parents
