      Informative pálinka drink
It's a very nice place, the museum part is surprisingly informative and exciting, it was a longer visit than we expected. We will come back again. P.s. The pálinkas are very tasty.

      Short stop
We stopped here with napping babies. The museum is 2 rooms in the basement, good for a 20 minute self-guided your. The main floor is a store with any kind of palinka and accessory you could want in a small room.

Interesting museum / Nice gift shop
We explored the museum on our own. The displays are interesting and the english guide pages were helpful. The gift shop was nice and the palinka was perfect. We really enjoyed the flavoured chocolate.

One of the best places to visit in Visegrád!
Nagyon szépen köszönjük, páratlan élmény volt :) I had huge expectations, and the place delivered. Very informal, interactive and modern place to visit, lots of goods to choose from. Helpfull staff, one of the best Hungarian spirits(PÁLINKA), we've ever had. Totally worth it! Thanks! :)

      Nothing special
The place is a glorified souvenir shop. Women working in the shop was disinterested in her job. Won't be back.

Great museum and a nice gift shop!
We were in palinka museum with some friends. I highly recommend coming over for palinka tasting and guided tour. We were late, so we explored museum on our own, and without a tasting, but it was still worth the time spent. It has a lot of great artifacts, and even some interactive elements. However I'd recommend to the owners to add English and maybe German translations to all descriptions in the museum. At the moment it's all in Hungarian, and foreign guests can't really appreciate what they see without knowing what it is. In our case two people had to translate to two others. Gift shop is really great, lots of palinka related gifts for any budget, I'd definitely like to come again one day to buy some gifts for my friends and family.

Small place, cheap but expected more
The entrance fee was 500 HUF , and i expected a little tour, although it was basically just a basement with some old stuff adn LCD monitors inside. It is actually a shop where you can buy palinka and small souvenirs

      Very interesting
We visited the Pálinka Múzeum during our stay in Visegrád and liked it very much. It is a small museum but has a lot of information about the different ways of making pálinka and also the many fruits people are/were using in the past. The videos are in hungarian though, so one must ask if they also have the descriptions/maybe subtitles in english. There is also a possibility to taste a LOT of different pálinka, so don't be shy 😉

the palinka museum is something nice you have to visit, if you're interested in such things as palinka, and how they brew it.

Great Little Museum with Nice Owners
Pros: Well organized, run by very knowledgeable people, good gift shop/tasting area Cons: Mostly in Hungarian (English info given on a sheet of paper) Visiting this museum was an impulse decision as we walked by, but it was the right choice! It’s quite small – basically just two rooms. However, the people who run it (I assume the owners) were very nice and know a lot about pálinka. They go into great detail about the history and how it’s made, and they have plenty of examples of the equipment used to do it. If you’ve never had pálinka, I recommend trying it here instead of at a bar or buying a big bottle at the store. Bonus tip: Don’t be shy about asking for recommendations! They have a good selection of pálinka available to taste on the spot (for reasonable prices), and they helped me find one I really liked on the first try. It’s impressive because I’ve previously had other types that I didn’t enjoy.

Good fun and educational attraction for adults
We dropped in by accident but really enjoyed it. I make palinka (fruit brandy) myself so actually I was interested to hear the pro about the subject. I found that he really knows his business and gave me some good advice. We also tasted some great palinka on the spot, then went downstairs to the exhibition area. It was quite interesting to see the history of distilling spirits. I'm not sure if and what languages the owner speaks because I speak Hungarian so easy times but he was certainly a lovely guy with some good knowledge. We enjoyed the trip for sure.

      Interesting Stop
This is a very small museum which is really geared for small tour groups. Not much to see if you visit on your own. The owner is very pleasant, he owns a distillery and sells his product (at a premium price).

      Quaint Little Place
This is a very small museum, with just one room, but it's very cheap to go in, the service was very friendly and it was a nice way to spend half an hour learning (and tasting) this traditional drink.

It was a very pleasant tour, to remember my father home distillery labour in behind of our yard baking oven. I remember that the botle of palinka was founden in the flower bad of the yards.
I really make palinka at home.
This Palinka Museum is a very nice place to me (and i think for all people who wants to discover the original palinka history, and naturally who likes palinka.

This was the best museum what visited.
We liked the premium pálinka tour.
    We tested 4 pálinka.
The pálinka was very good. 10/10
The information monitors showed how made the original pálinka, and showed the history of pálinka.
