Our chimney cake class was fun, informative and tasty. While I wasn’t great at getting the to stand my friend got all three of hers up right. But they all were tasty.

I really enjoyed this class - the instructor not only showed us how to make chimney cakes, she shared the history of their creation and how they've changed over their many years. We had 4 different options for coatings, which I appreciated, and we walked out with 3 delicious treats. We even got a little certificate! I think the only thing that could have made it better would have been a little whipped cream for the filling but they were delicious as is. The dough we used was vegan, which isn't a concern for me but sharing in case anyone needs to know that it's an option.

We had so much to try baking our first chimney cake! The teacher were really nice and helpful, we got clear instructions. This was a lovely way to enjoy the day with this group.

Great experience.The tutor was exceptionally helpful and patient.I hate baking and only went to accompany my husband who loves to bake. There was another lady there who kindly took photos with your phone and she did a very professional job.Everything explained very carefully.It was fun,a great bonding experience for friends or couples. The only drawbacks were- a difficult and steep climb down to the actual kitchen.Be careful especially if you are carrying heavy coats and bags.Secondly no soap or gel for your hands.We were not reminded to wash our hands thoroughly before the food preparation,although there was a sink,water and paper towels.I was shocked at this,especially after Covid.The kitchen and utensils were spotlessly clean so hopefully this was an oversight.Gel container was empty or was not working.Overall an excellent experience and I made 3 delicious chimneys,which given my non existent baking skills reflected the skill and experience of the tutor.Highly recommended ( maybe take your own gel 🙂)

My partner and I just attended this cooking class and we have had an amazing time, it was so much fun to learn how to make the chimney cake and understand the history of the delicase. Our instructor was so helpful and made the experience so memorable.

Lovely clear instructions, made lots of yummy chimney cake. Very nice place, would have been nice to sit down with a cup of tea / coffee after and enjoy them.

We had the best time at this chimney cake workshop! For such a great price, we got to learn all about the history of Hungary and how chimney cakes (kürtőskalács) became such a big tradition here. The hands-on part was so much fun! Rolling the dough, baking in a specialised oven, and picking out toppings. The staff were super welcoming and it was such a unique experience. If you’re in Budapest, don’t miss it!

Relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere! The teacher was really good and explained the process well so to make the most of the lesson and have some good results with Chimney cakes!! Highly recommend.
