Our tour guide A'kos was great! He did a great job showing all the sites and gave us lots of background information and history. He was friendly, patient, and thorough. We appreciated the many choices he gave us to customize our tour.

Christine T and Laszlo were amazing tourguides and hosts. They treated my family so well, even after our booking.com apartment changed our location last second, they were able to pick us up at a new location and accommodated everything we asked for. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful, insightful tour of Budapest with Ákos, who was very knowledgeable & honest about his country's history & the city's architecture & highlights. We spent most of the tour on the Buda side, up in the Buda Castle complex with the gorgeous views and historic buildings, but also went back across to Pest for a walk to the Parliament building & a drive past Heroes' Square & other sites. Ákos was flexible about what to show us, but preferred to focus on the lovely aspects, as opposed to the tragic, and we were good with that! A memorable introduction to Budapest.

My family and I really enjoyed touring Budapest with Sweet Travel. Our guide, Christine, was amazing as she not only took us to the best spots for first-timers, but also gave us a good understanding of the city’s rich history.

My mind and heart are still so full even days after from Christina's skilled and knowledgeable instructions in all things Budapest. She knows her history! I was especially touched by her sensitive and beautiful speeches as we toured the Jewish section. It brought me to tears. Her knowledge was equally impressive as we went through beautiful cathedrals. It was a full day. We saw so much and had a lovely lunch at a restaurant that she selected. We even got a trip to a fabric store that we had requested. Christina's sincere and genuine desire for us to be happy was so appreciated. Laszlo picked up, dropped off and waited so patiently and competently in the wonderful Mercedes van. Christine was an extremely informative tour guide! She knew (and has studied) a lot of history. We saw a lot of the main sights and she asked us if there was anything in particular we wanted to see on the tour. Lazlo was a great and helpful driver. Would recommend.

Had an amazing tour. Christine Tepla’u had a such great details to share about Budapest and the history. She moved through the city and tour at a great pace and was flexible in our stops. Dezsi was a great driver and was extremely accommodating. A great duo I would recommend both.

Sweet Travels arranged a driver and guide to do a six day itinerary in Hungary for my husband and I. The guide and driver, Kristina and Gabor, were outstanding. They were both caring and professional, ensuring we saw everything on the agenda as well as more. Kristina’s knowledge of her beautiful country was amazing. The information was informative and factual, but she added her personal touches and was willing to answer all questions. Hungary is so much more than Budapest. We saw villages, monasteries, a wonderful cave, beautiful scenery, the Danube Bend, castles and palaces, as well as dining at some quaint and excellent restaurants suggested and booked by Sweet Travels. Autumn was a wonderful time to visit Hungary if you enjoy the changing colors.
