Fun day out but better if sunny
Pros: - hair dryers - locker key system is on a digital bracelet so it’s unlikely you’ll use your key - Swimwear dryer and plastic bags for wet swimwear - Water fountains Cons: - No private shower curtains - questionable cleanliness in some pools - Expensive drinks

    Please refund me
Arrived to discover the cruise was not running. I was not aware until i arrived at the meeting point as arranged. Disappointment is overshadowed by the stress of now trying to apply for a refund. Please would you contact me ASAP, as I am having no success in contacting you. Thank you

Musicians spoilt the night asking for money
The cruise was okay, the welcome drink was not great. The serving staff were polite and friendly. Very disappointed that the musicians came over to our table playing their instruments and then asked for money, we had already paid for the cruise.

    A must experience attraction
We took a private room which was fantastic to have a safe space to keep our items. Robes, slippers and towels were all provided so we didn’t have to walk with any of those items. We took the earlier booking which was great because there was hardly anyone there and we were able to have a lot of fun and a quiet relaxing time. By midday it had gotten very very busy and luckily we had the room to decompress and change before leaving.

    Great experience
Nice architecture, water was perfect temperature which ever pool you went in. Rainy, cloudy day, not overly crowded. We chose cabin which was really good as we could change and leave our personal belongings

    Cruising the Danube
Would have preferred the lights inside turned down so we could enjoy the outside scenery better More a la carte snacks. Staff is friendly

    Amazing
Amazing stuff, good mood, drinks and food are delicious. It was slightly late when leaving, still I recommend it. The interior design is fabulous

    Slightly Overrated
I had high expectations of the baths considering I’ve seen so many people visit here on holiday but my visit didn’t meet expectations. In hindsight would have got a morning only ticket as we only stayed a few hours. Didn’t help the sun kept going behind clouds so everyone was cold and wet after leaving the pools - would be a better experience if it stayed sunny and would have then maybe stayed longer (was saying 24 degrees & visited in September). Personally wouldn’t take the advice to visit when it’s cloudy because of this. We arrived about 11:30-12ish and were lucky to find 2 sun loungers next to each other - they did just become available as & when people left so it’s a lottery getting them, as expected. We got the private cabin to get changed in, which we appreciated, though I didn’t see the other area to compare it to.

Overpriced and Overhyped: A Disappointing Day at Széchenyi Thermal Spa
The Széchenyi Thermal Spa was a bit underwhelming, especially given the hype surrounding it. While the photos and advertisements drew us in, the reality didn’t quite live up to expectations. For around $50 per person, you get access to various pools and hot tubs, but little else is included. Drinks are an additional cost and cannot be enjoyed in the pools themselves. We were fortunate to find a single beach chair to share while sipping on our drinks, but overall, the experience felt overpriced for what it offered. It felt more like a tourist trap than a worthwhile relaxation spot.

    Fabulous
Benjamin was an engaging and informative guide who told the story of the Jews in Hungary and how they treated. The Dohany synagogue and the nearby sites we toured are a must-see. Benjamin's enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour fabulous.

    Highly Recommend!
Great cruise! Arrived 45 minutes early (recommended) and got great outdoor seats. The views of the lights were stunning. Got the 3-drink package for 2 people, which ended up translating into a glass of Prosecco on arrival (for each of us) plus another whole bottle.

Conflicting and confusing meeting point information.
On the Tripadvisor app “before you go” states boarding is at Akadémia port 3. Meeting point states Akademia pontoon 2. I telephoned to check and was told correct location is ponton 2. However, on arrival ponton 2 is not signposted and a boat from another company was moored at the Google map location! Lots of confused people asking for help with a female member of staff on the shoreline. Turns out our boat was anchored out of sight behind the first boat from the other company! You have to board the other boat, then walk straight through it to board the correct boat! Apart from this farce the cruise was enjoyable, with lovely live music and drinks on board, and of course the beautiful sights from the Danube.

    Enjoyable Trip
We had a very enjoyable evening trip, and chose the drinks package. The boat was clean, and the staff very friendly. The views outstanding especially as the sunset. We sat outside at the front, and no musicians came outside, and unless you went indoors where people were dining you could not hear them, which was disappointing. Also, there is no running commentary as you sail, which would have been useful.

I expected the place had more to do than it had. It was very nice there but too many people. Even if we had pre-ordered we stayed long in line because it was too full. But definitely a great place to cool down in warm Budapest.

A great holiday to relax and recuperate for new travels. Saunas, wet steam room, hot and cold water pools, outdoor pools. Lockers, showers, food court. Large territory.
