Avoid at all costs! The worst service I have ever experienced. Waiting 40 minutes for two cokes. The starter took 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive. The meal was part of an online deal. Rudest baths was fantastic. The Bistro is awful and the staff are rude.

We visited the bistro looking forward to a light bite to eat and a drink. We walked in to see 4 staff members milling about but no one approached us , leaving us to ask if we could take a seat. We did and the menus were brought out. After 22 minutes of waiting we asked if someone was going to take our order. The waitress appeared oblivious to our presence and said she would be with us in a minute. About 5 minutes later we left still having not been seen. On exiting the bistro there were still a number of staff milling about aimlessly. I know why they call this place Rudas because the staff are as rude as xxxx

It was a great time with my fiance. Staff is friendly, food is tasty. And bath was a nice experience. We had 3 course meal and a relaxation time in Rudas Bath

Great views on the terrace, amazing service and drink presentation ( miro rose spritz is the must). Our waitress was super sweet and waited for is to pull our cameras, rushed our food order, because we were short on time and made this restaurant experience very pleasant.

This program was booked a month in advance. The week before it was scheduled, the tour operator cancelled without explanation. We went to the Gellert baths instead and had a fine time.

The food was nice but not of the quality that was in the pictures. There was a burger on the menu that was good. The bath is nice and the rooftop is great. They have some consturcution going on and we did not see the old bath. Is it still there? It is difficult to find your way.

Great spot for lunch after spending some time in the baths. Very enjoyable lunch, well presented meals and Petra was a really helpful and considerate waitress

This was my first experience at the baths in Budapest. I chose Rudas because it was the smaller choice. I also read some where of the healing benefits of Rudas mineral drinking water. I like the idea of coupling a meal with a couple hours at the spa. Upon arrival at 11 AM, which was the time slotted on our trip advisor ticket. We were told that they weren’t ready for lunch. My poor review is based on the fact that this experience was not well communicated from a purchasing ticket standpoint to a using of the thermal pools standpoint. There is NO DIFFERENCE between the premier brunch or lunch or premier lunch.The time is irrelevant. The restaurant opens at 12 and you can use the restaurant anytime after that. The language barrier, English to Hungarian, was hard in the restaurant and the spa. Most of the employees did not speak English. The traditions and the movability within the spa (when you eat and NO dress ode for restaurant) really should be gone over prior to enjoying the facilities. We didn’t know where to go where to go, how to shower before the use of the pools and what time to be any specific place, like our lunch reservation or our massages. You have to enter each different section of the pool by way of turn-style. Everything was very confusing. if you’re ready for that, the food was excellent (I mean one of the best we had in Hungary) and the spa pool experience was delightful. The facilities could use a little TLC, but for the most part were clean.

We went for our anniversary, it was wonderful, pools were great, hot pool then cold plunge pool was exhilarating then roof top spa .

Very good place, veautiful view and u must try rose duck breast :) Hope you will have a nice time like me and my wife did here.

Terrible terrible experience. Will not be recommending this to my worst enemy. Me and boyfriend paid for a package deal at £130 which “included” all day spa access, 3 course meal a lemonade each, a beer or wine each and a coffee each. Which we thought was really good , but after my experience I think not. We had a reservation at the bistro at 2pm, we walked out there at 6pm! The service was absolutely appalling, we was sat waiting to be served for a good half hour-40mins. We ordered all three courses together, the starters come out at a pretty reasonable time. However the main 1 hour 45 minutes later our mains come out, we also sat waiting for our starter plates to be taken for 45 mins, maybe if the waiters focused more on there customers than undoing each-others aprons and chatting the service may have been more smooth sailing. Once it was finally time to leave this place they offered our wine or beer that came in the deal, however as we do not drink we kindly asked if we could have a soft drink instead ie coke. Once we got up to leave they told us we Neeeded to pay for the cola!! I was appalled. Never again will I be back

We bought spa and brunch deal for Rudas Thermal Spa and Bistro. We had a wonderful relacing time in the spa. In the afternoon we went for our brunch. We were warmly welcomed by our waitress and was offered a good selection of 3 courses from the menu. The food was really good we both had goulash soup to start mmmmm!I had the chicken breast and Bacon salad. The chicken was moist and full of flavour. Other half had steak with honey & mustard potatoes. The steak was tender and cooked to his liking. The dessert was to die for the lemon pie was divine and the Hungary sessert of layers of songs apple and nuts was lovely. High recommend the service was fantastic and we had a lovely day.

The view from the top was amazing, and the spa was amazing. Lunch was great quality, very tasty, fast out

1. Great viewpoint, 2. delicious food, 3. wonderful atmosphere and mostly importantly 4. friendly and helpful service. We walked up Gellert Hill in the afternoon then coming down to Rudas Bistro to have dinner. This restaurant is great for the relaxing vibe and perfect viewpoint to Danube. The servers are all friendly. Our server Geri was very nice and friendly always smiling. It was our first evening in Budapest and it was really nice to see such friendliness in the city that really presents a good character of this city. We are glad to dine in here for the first dinner and a good start in Budapest!

Lack of customer service. Not attentive at all . We were a family of 5 . The terrace was fullish so we sat inside and though our order was taken we had to go to them to get a wine list and to chase up part of our order. At no point did anyone come over to see if we needed anything. I would say the food is nice but our white wine was warm . Nice setting shame they don’t make a good impression with the service.
