Everything about this tour was fantastic. The van, the driver, the sights and most importantly, the guide,Raymond!! Not only was he he knowledgeable about the history, he was patient, passionate and fun !! Thank you for making Budapest a memorable destination

We had the MOST FANTASTIC tour with Behind Budapest Tours. Adam was our point person and he connected us with Orsolya and the driver. Orsolya was tremendously knowledgeable and so nice. She was funny and personable and knew so much about Hungarian history. It was a day to remember! The van was top-notch with excellent air conditioning. We could not have had a better introduction to Budapest - Orsolya and Adam are the BEST!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had Adam design a custom day tour for us before we boarded a Viking tour boat the next day. I was very impressed that Adam had done thorough research on what Viking provided so we would not repeat sites. Adam is clearly an accomplished guide and we enjoyed his narrative throughout the day. He is very personable and kind also helping us with our wheelchair. I can highly recommend Adam and Behind Budapest!

FANTASTIC! Adam was both personable and knowledgeable, sharing history and appreciation of this beautiful place in a way that was engaging for all of us. He showed historic pictures of some of the sites, which made them all the more fascinating as we took in both the changes and the parts that endured. Also, Adam's assurance that this would be even more memorable a tour for taking place as sunset was SPOT ON. It was breathtaking to see the area by fading daylight and then lit up as night fell. Just spectacular. I wish I'd taken more screenshots during! I'm so grateful to the coworkers who made this happen and to Adam for making it so special and fascinating.

Adam was incredible- he catered the tour for our needs - my son is in a study abroad program, Adam showed us how to use public transportation, the school where to eat and college living - it was perfect and Adam was super nice !

I did a cycling tour to Szentendre with Adam, combining train and bike. It was approximate 30 km on bike, discovering parts of the city (beautiful old town, nice viewing points) and cycling back to Budapest alongside the Danube through frozen marshlands and peaceful nature. Very well planned tour and guiding!

It was a great pleasure to share some time with Adam, who is clearly a passionate about his city, people and building. We got to know a bit more. about social sustainability and the way the city is being built for its people during a personalised tour. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer your questions.

We went with Estonian teachers who were amazed by all of the beautiful sights in Budapest. The guide was really skilful, kind and competent again, not mentioning how many interesting facts she could point out in a really gripping way.

My partner and I are returning customers; our first walk was in 2018 and little did we know, that we will be hooked, and will go out of our way to try to secure a walk with Adam every time we visit Budapest. Entertainingly informative, perfectly taylored walks. I'm sure one can try other walking tours in Budapest, but what's the point even.
