Wonderful wine focused day to Eger
We had emailed Gergely to ask for a more wine focused day in Eger and we were more than delighted with the itinerary. The information on the drive out of Budapest was really interesting as was the drive to Eger. On arrival we explored the Eger Castle then went to visit some wineries - all of which were amazing. We visited some wonderful cellars and met owners. The day was full from the 8:30am start to arriving back around 7pm. Gergely is wonderfully friendly and really knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Private Day Trip Tour to Eger! Highly recommend. Fun and knowledgeable.
Gergely did an absolutely amazing job touring Eger! He picked us up at our hotel in Budapest. He was prompt and the car was immaculate and extremely comfortable. While we drove to Eger, he took the time to explain Budapest a bit to us and then gave us some history on Hungary as well. He properly set expectations for us in Eger and was a wealth of knowledge. I would recommend anyone to do a tour with Gergely as he was extremely friendly and offered recommendations as a local. Thank you for such a great day!

        Great Tour Guide
Enjoyed a private tour with Szabo in his car. I am pretty sure we saw almost everything of importance, thanks to Szabo. The information he gave about the sites and the city were perfect! We would hire him again.

A Highlight of our Visit to Hungary
Ursula is an incredibly savvy guide, and our driver Daniel was excellent. The car was luxurious. We had not known of Herend until this visit and enjoyed the tour and cappuccino there immensely. Tihany is a gem, and I could have spend days at Lake Balaton.

A great day trip with history and the high quality wines
I experienced a great tour with Gergely. He picked me up from my hotel on time. We drove to the town of Eger in eastern Hungary by a nice, comfortable car. We visited the medieval castle and the beautiful old town with the basilica, followed by a great wine tasting. Gergely is a tour guide with a very good knowledge of history, but we also had great conversations on current topics such as economics and politics. I recommend his services to everyone who really wants to get a great overview of Hungary in a short time.

        Beautiful Budapest
My husband and I visited Budapest for 4 days after a Danube River cruise. We decided to book this tour because it was by car and Budapest is a large city. Our tour guide, Gergely, was punctual, accommodating, professional, informative and interesting. We were picked up at our our hotel. Since we had already walked all over or done the hop on hop off bus on the Pest side we asked him to concentrate on the Buda side. Gergely was amazing and took us to Citadel lookout with beautiful, expansive views of Budapest from a high view point. We also went inside the historical Gellert baths to see the grandeur of it's architecture. Then it was on to Castle Quarter and the winding cobblestone streets and leafy promenades of Castle Hill leading past baroque houses, Habsburg monuments and cafes including early 19th-century Ruszwurm. We were able to view the magnificent Matthias Church and climb the turrets and terraces of Fisherman’s Bastion offering views over the Danube. We visited the grounds and beautiful square of Buda Castle. We took amazing photos from this vantage point. We returned to the Pest side and strolled the grounds of Vajdahunyad Castle. We asked Gergley to drop us off at the New York Cafe since that was somewhere we wanted to visit. We can highly recommend this tour for it's convenience in cramming in a lot of sights in a short amount of time. The car was very clean and comfortable, water was provided. The guide, Gergely was very professional and knowledgeable.

Excellent Private Tour in a black sedan
Fantastic guide . Highly recommended. Gergely picked us up at the airport and drove us around the city, explaining much about the Hungarian history and stoping in the most beautiful places. We loved it.

        The BEST guide in Budapest
I booked a short tour with Gergely Szabo and it was a great decision! It was a snowy, cold afternoon, so he arrived with his private car and offered me to change the walking tour (I booked) to a sightseeing tour with his private car. I excepted his offer. His car was very elegant, comfortable, clean and roomy. If I right remember it was a spick-and-span Passat. And about Gergely: he is intelligent, energetic, creative and adapted the tour to my interests and needs. He has very widespread information, stories about everything: Hungarian people, buildings, culture, history, politics, pubs, cafes, restaurants etc. During the tour with Gergely I fell in love with Budapest, this extraordinarily beautiful city. If you arrive to Budapest, don’t hesitate to book Gergely, he is the BEST!

A tour with heart, soul and mind
When I contacted Gergely, I had already seen much of the regular touristy parts of Budapest but I wanted to see the parts of the city which are not on many of the regular walking tours. I booked Gergely for this visit. He arrived at my hotel punctually as arranged in a clean, comfortable car and was ready to take me on an interesting adventure of the city. He tailored the tour as per my intentions and throughout the three hours, I was given information, insights and opinions in a warm, friendly and engaging way. Gergely knows his city really well and he is passionate about sharing it with visitors. I saw sites that I otherwise either would have taken for granted or never have discovered. As we travelled through the city we were able to discuss subjects ranging from State education to local culture. I can confidently recommend Gergely to anyone who wants to see and experience Budapest beyond what can otherwise be seen in tourist magazines. Gergely is what I call an absolutely professional tour guide.
