The view from the top was amazing, and the spa was amazing. Lunch was great quality, very tasty, fast out

1. Great viewpoint, 2. delicious food, 3. wonderful atmosphere and mostly importantly 4. friendly and helpful service. We walked up Gellert Hill in the afternoon then coming down to Rudas Bistro to have dinner. This restaurant is great for the relaxing vibe and perfect viewpoint to Danube. The servers are all friendly. Our server Geri was very nice and friendly always smiling. It was our first evening in Budapest and it was really nice to see such friendliness in the city that really presents a good character of this city. We are glad to dine in here for the first dinner and a good start in Budapest!

Lack of customer service. Not attentive at all . We were a family of 5 . The terrace was fullish so we sat inside and though our order was taken we had to go to them to get a wine list and to chase up part of our order. At no point did anyone come over to see if we needed anything. I would say the food is nice but our white wine was warm . Nice setting shame they don’t make a good impression with the service.

This is the second time I’ve been here for lunch would definitely recommend it. A trip to the spa and lunch doesn’t get much better then this and the staff are lovely

Amazing, friendly and so attentive, would do anything to make your experience pleasurable. Food was excellent! Overall very happy 😊 We really enjoyed the venue and spa also. The only thing was the panorama pool was closed for the week.

Food took a long time to come (1 hour) for two burgers. Figured the food would be good because of the location, was not. At least it was edible. Wouldn’t return.

The team were very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The food was simply divine- I had Goulash soup, which was one of the best I had in Budapest. The setting is really beautiful and you feel instantly relaxed

It was amazing... Ups... No, it was terrible. The restaurant was almost empty, but we had to wait almost one hour for a simple hamburger and a goat cheese. We were lucky with the drinks, they were only 20 mins... ;) Both of us tasted the other's meal, the cheese was enjoyable, but my burger... I wouldn't recommend it anybody. It tasted and smelled as a three day old dead fish. The final joke: service fee is included the bill, but there wasn't any question at the end, whether I wanted to get anything from the extra cash. The manager was horribly cheeky and undermined little he did he know I spoke Hungarian referring to my myself and partner I understood what he was saying referring to my sexuality Terrible

Visited Rudas Baths/ Bistro today for the unlimited champagne experience. Was nothing like the description. Some staff in the bistro had the wrong attitude for a waitress/ waiter. The main course was nice. After this we went in to what we thought was the unlimited champagne and jacuzzi on the roof. When we eventually found it, it was absolutely packed that we couldn’t even get in to it. As well as this, there was staff upstairs, yet no one to offer help or assistance. Also did not get one glass of champagne and even if we did, where would we have even drank it? In addition to this, the “spa” areas were nothing special and definitely not worth the money or time. Overall, this is a very poor experience and myself & my boyfriend would not recommend.

If I had the option to leave ZERO stars I would have chose this. My daughter and I visited Rudas spa/bistro after booking a VIP spa/dining experience via Get Your Guide. Unfortunately, a VIP experience could not have been further from what we experienced. Our table was booked for 6pm, with a full day use of the baths. Spending 3 days in Budapest, we tried to maximise our time there, so we went sightseeing in the morning and had lunch out. We arrived at the spa at around 3.30. We followed guidance on the app to collect the ticket to the baths. We approached one of the bar staff and explained we'd come to collect out tickets. He pointed to the stairs and barked DOWNSTAIRS. thinking we'd missed a reception area on the ground floor, we went back down. We hadn't. We went back up to the bistro and explained again that we had a table booked and had come to collect tickets for the spa. Another member of staff informed us that the bistro was closed for a private function, so we basically had the option to have our 3 course meal within half an hour and be out by 4pm (we'd had lunch shortly before). or return the next day (we already had plans.the next day). All members of staff we rude, unfriendly and abrupt. At no point was any offer of an apology made. They pretty much told us that it's not their problem. Eye rolling, huffing, raising their voices at us. We did go in the spa but missed out on the dining experience. The spas themselves were OK. We also went to another with more outdoor baths and imo if you have a choice of just one I'd avoid Rudas and head to the one not far from Hero's square (sorry can't remember the name) but it was a much more pleasant experience. The outdoor rooftop bath at Rudas did have good views but was not large enough to accommodate the number of people crammed into it.

It was a great experience, we had access to the old baths. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly. Just be aware for the holiday season, you will be charge extra from the price that appears on the website in order to have access to the old bath section.

The place is very nice but the staff was very unpleasant, unfriendly and not helpful. We asked them to call us a taxi because our phones died and they refused it.

Amazing food and service, the spa was also great and relaxing. We will come again when we visit Budapest. Location is also perfect, close to the bridge and Buda castle
