Nice baths and brunch experience

We opted for Rudas Baths as the other big one was closed for maintenance. Rudas is a smaller baths but has a nice range of features, pool, sauna, steam room etc. I found the old fashioned thermal baths very peculiar and not particularly enjoyable. They are not coeducational in the week (only men or women). Did really like the jacuzzi on the roof though - nice views of the city and the river! Wasn’t too busy either. We had the Extra Brunch package for my birthday. Food and drinks were nice. Menu is a limited menu so the menu in the spa is different (I had already chosen my food in my head!) We booked in person in the restaurant and paid cash, but you can book online. Only criticism is you can’t rent robes from the spa, only buy them so you either have to get changed for the restaurant or sit in towel/swimwear.

It was a great experience, we had access to the old baths. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly. Just be aware for the holiday season, you will be charge extra from the price that appears on the website in order to have access to the old bath section.

Lovely relaxing day in the spa with a three course lunch included which was delicious. Hadn't planned to spend so long there but we were enjoying it so much. Only thing was robes were expensive to hire but we felt more comfortable wearing them in the Bistro at lunch. We took our own towels and flip flops. Fabulous view from the rooftop panorama pool.

Visited Rudas Baths/ Bistro today for the unlimited champagne experience. Was nothing like the description. Some staff in the bistro had the wrong attitude for a waitress/ waiter. The main course was nice.
After this we went in to what we thought was the unlimited champagne and jacuzzi on the roof. When we eventually found it, it was absolutely packed that we couldn’t even get in to it. As well as this, there was staff upstairs, yet no one to offer help or assistance. Also did not get one glass of champagne and even if we did, where would we have even drank it? In addition to this, the “spa” areas were nothing special and definitely not worth the money or time. Overall, this is a very poor experience and myself & my boyfriend would not recommend.

Dear Vusitor thank u for your feedback. Sorry not meeting yoir expectation this time. When have you been at Rudas? We did not have package with ''unlimited champagne". Also please note that Bistro and Bath is 2 different legal entity, we have no effect any bath's personel and number of visitors. Thank you for your positive feedback on our main course and food, that we can be responsible for :)

The worst experience. Told lunch was between 11-2. Got there at 12.15 for lunch prior to the spa to be told kitchen was closed till 1. Came back at 1 to then be told the chef’s were in a meeting and no idea when it would be open ‘1 maybe 2, who knows’ by a very rude waitress. After a while, she eventually told us to ‘just sit down’ and we had our lunch. Shame she ruined our whole experience and wasted a lot of our day

Good Experience for the Money

We chose this spa because it wasn't known to be as crowded as others. Very nice spa experience and tasty lunch at Rudas Bistro. Everyone was polite and helpful. Highly recommend for the price and quality of food at a nice spot with a good view of the Danube.

Fantastic trip, and brunch is a 3 course meal, and the spa is for all day, unbeknown to us, couldn't believe it, fabulous and views stunning, staff can't help you enough - a little tip if you go, take a towel!

Amazing, just like every budapest spa

More for grown-ups. Loved the experience even if we had kids with us. The view is spectacular and prices very friendly. I wish I could go back on a less crowdy day, for example wintertime. I highly recommend this spa.

Overall a good experience. We were booked by Viator at 10:30 am whereas opening time was 11 am. We kept standing in sun for half an hour. Experience of Rudas Bath was very good and so was of Brunch.
