Let me begin by saying that our guide, Aron, was a superb guide whose love for Hungary and hope for a better future was evident throughout the entire tour. He began with the history and politics of Hungary to give us a perspective to appreciate how the lives of the Jews deteriorated in the years leading up to WWII. As we set off on the tour, we could tell immediately how much Aron enjoyed leading the tour. He shared a multitude of historical vignettes, that were sprinkled with personal anecdotes that he delivered passionately. Each site, each memorial, and each street that we visited held special meaning that Aron eagerly shared with us. Engaging, articulate, exceedingly knowledgeable and eager to field questions about almost any subject about Hungary are all qualities of an excellent guide that Aron possesses. Our tour extended beyond the allocated time as time flew by before any of us noticed. And we all left the tour sharing Aron's hope that through action and free speech, we can work together to make this world better and prevent repeating the mistakes of the past. Shalom.

Gabriel was our guide and he was completely interesting and knowledgeable. His English was terrific. He did a great job of weaving the historical times to the lives of the Jewish community. Great pace for the tour. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour! Daniel was our guide and he explained the plight of the Jewish people in the most understandable way. It was more of a conversation than a lecture, like so many other tours can be. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in a simplistic but detailed manner so that everyone would be interested. It was possibly the best tour we have ever been on, certainly the most memorable. This tour is highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this. We spent a morning being shown round Budpest's Jewish Quarter by our guide Aron. Not only did he know its history, he seemed to have many friends there - to who we were introduced - and as a result finished the tour feeling we knew both the place and the people well. The stalls and the bustle of flea market were a delight, but it's the WW2 bleak ghetto wall that'll stay in the memory. Thank you.
