Endre was our tourguide. We had a two hours minibus tour in the late afternoon on Saturday, after a rather intensive working day. My guests were amazed by all the information, interesting stories and kindness of our guide. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience!

Myself and a few friends recently did the half-day private driving tour with Adam and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Adam was very knowledgeable and quite funny when telling us stories. We were very lucky with the weather too as it was a glorious warm and sunny day which certainly helped. I would definitely recommend going on this tour if you want to see the highlights of Budapest.

We took two 4-hour city tours with Adam and driver Daniel over two days, and they were both fantastic. Adam has a wonderful sense of humor and deep knowledge of Budapest, and it was a pleasure for our group of 7 adults to spend time with him, learning about the history, culture, people, food and geography of Budapest. We felt like we were friends with him by the end of our 2 days together. Wonderful guy and very helpful. Daniel is an excellent driver and very polite and nice. We highly recommend this tour company.

We did a tour with Eva in July 2019 and it was honestly one of the best experiences of the whole trip! She was so knowledgeable, focusing on the exact facts that interested us (Art Deco architecture) and answering all our questions, from Hungarian history to where to eat the best Strudel! We absolutely fell in love with the city and Eva on the same day! Highly recommended!!

We booked a 2-hour tour for our arrival afternoon and a 4-hour tour for the following day. My husband has difficulty walking and our guide--Adam--planned things in an excellent way so that we saw everything we wanted to see. He is a wealth of historical and cultural information and is very witty as well. We highly recommend Behind Budapest.

I had a wonderful experience with Behind Budapest Tours and with our tourguide Adam. Adam was so patient and accommodating, taking my family and I out to the countryside as part of a family reunion. Back in the city central of Budapest, he showed us so many interesting sights, knew the history and current political situation of Hungary very well, and had many good food and bar recommendations. He gave us the most of the tour guide experience, while making us feel like a local. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to experience Budapest from a variety of angles, whether you're looking for something more historical or modern.

Our family of 5 adults recently had a half day private tour with Adam, who was knowledgeable, funny and super accommodating. He has in-depth knowledge of not only Hungary's history, but how that brutal past has affected the current culture and mindset of Hungarians, which provided more depth and color to our visit. Even after our tour ended, he was texting me with restaurant and day trip suggestions, which are spot on! (We texted via Whatsapp - very convenient, especially when I changed the pick up location 2X!) My husband and I are sold on the value of these private tours even though they can be pricey. Our millenial kids were hesitant about the tour, but now agree that they add so much to the travel experience!
BTW, Adam is also a professional photographer and knew the good vantage points, so our photos were terrific!

Another great tour with Adam. He knows his stuff and makes the tour enjoyable and informative. He was also helpful telling us about some great restaurants and shops to go to on our last day. We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Budapest with Adam.
