One of the best decisions that I made during this trip was definitely booking this ruin bar tour. Ferenc, an amazing tour guide, was fun and knowledgeable. We went to a good number of interesting ruin bars and had so many different types of beers and local liquor. And let's not forget about the street food :).
I haven't really done tours before but I can strongly say that it for sure didn't feel like a typical tour and more like having a local friend teaching me Hungarian culture and showing me a good time in Budapest.

I have always loved travelling alone. I’m also not one to book tours but this specific tour by Budapest Urban Walks surprised me and changed my mind! I learned a lot about the Hungarian culture, had excellent drinks and snacks, and finally indulged in unique street art.

My brother and I had 2 days in Budapest. We heard that there were a number of ruin bars in the area but we didn’t know where to start. Decided to book this ruin bar tour and it was the best we could have asked for! The tour guide really stepped it up.

Excellent tour without having to indulge in “drinking games” that so many other tours offer. Ferenc took us to several excellent ruin bars with the addition of excellent street food. He was very knowledgeable and great company. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
