- 376SimonL0 contributionsGreat Segway tour with a great guide! We met at the office just before our departure time. We had been on segway several times before on various city breaks so luckily enough we picked it up straight away after a safety briefing. We split up in two groups as we were booked for two hours whereas the rest were booked for ninety minutes. This is where we met our guide Sam….he was great. We stopped at many tourist spots including Buda castle, Fisherman’s bastion, The Chain Bridge, Parliament Buildings, St Stephen’s Basilica to name just a few. We stopped regularly with Sam telling us loads of interesting history. He was very knowledgeable. We returned back to the shop after a fantastic ride around the city. We would high recommend this Segway tour. Thanks Sam.Written March 13, 2025

Our group of seven had an absolutely incredible experience on our Segway tour of Budapest, and a huge part of that was thanks to our brilliant tour guide, Phillipé. From start to finish, he made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident on the Segways, which was perfect for both beginners and those more experienced.
Phillipé was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly accommodating. He was happy to answer all of our questions, whether they were about the city’s rich history, its stunning architecture, or the best places to eat and explore. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he clearly had a passion for sharing Budapest with visitors.
What really stood out was his flexibility. He allowed us to stop whenever we wanted, giving us plenty of time to soak in the sights, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. He never made us feel rushed, which made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. It truly felt like a personalised experience tailored just for us.
The tour covered all the key highlights of Budapest, and we left with a newfound appreciation for the city. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Budapest, and if you’re lucky enough to get Phillipé as your guide, you’re in for a treat!
Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we’ll be talking about this for years to come!

My friend and I loved this experience. Our guide, Beka, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very funny which made the tour extra enjoyable. We did the 90 min tour yesterday with our guide Yousef.
From start to finish this was thoroughly enjoyable. Yousef’s patience with us as we learned how to use the segway and whilst out on the tour was brilliant and much appreciated.
The stops that we made whilst he gave us the history of the area and the statues etc were well thought out and he willingly answered our questions.
If you are looking for a good tour and with friendly, accommodating guides then this one is definitely for you.

Not only was it an exciting way to explore the city, but it also offered a unique perspective of its historic sites and charming streets. Our guide, Argen, was incredibly knowledgeable, pointing out hidden gems and sharing stories that truly brought the city's history to life. The Segway itself was easy to operate, even for a first-timer like my kids, and allowed us to cover a lot of ground in a short time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Budapest in a fun and interactive way. A big thank you to the team for making our visit so memorable

Fantastic way to start our 4 days in Budapest. Our tour guide was great fun, very knowledgeable and talked us through all the sites as we travelled on our 2.5hrs tour.
We started off in a small practise area until we all found our feet and learnt how to use the segways, only when everyone felt comfortable did we start off.
Doing this tour first meant we could actually tick off some things from our list straight away while getting a feel for the city and finding our bearings.
I am an Independent Travel Agent and will happily promote this tour to my clients travelling to Budapest.
Highly recommended 👌

We booked a group tour but ended up just the two of us and our wonderful guide José as the time of year was very cold. The warmth of our guide’s tour more than compensated. We booked the longest tour but did not manage to see all of the sights on the suggested itinerary, however this was likely because we chose to spend longer at some points than the usual 5 min stops. The segways were a lot of fun and really easy to use. Budapest is a big city on two sides of the Danube and involves hills in Buda. I’d recommend this tour as a way to see a lot in a short amount of time. Good value experience.

Neither my partner or I had been on a Segway before, so I was really excited to try it.....and see the sights of the city at the same time! It was a complete surprise for my partner, as she would have been completely stressed out at the thought of it!!
We were part of a group of about 8 people, under the supervision and guidance of Arash, who was an excellent instructor and guide. After a short intro to the Segways and whatever practice time you needed to feel comfortable, we set off en convoy around the city. Arash was very careful to include everyone and kept an eye on those who were less sure of themselves at the start, but before long, everyone had built their confidence on the Segways to get around the locations very comfortably.
We stopped frequently, at all the key sites, where Arash gave a clear and informative brief on each of the places of interest, as well as providing a very helpful broader view of the culture and history of Hungary.
This was a really great way to see the city and all of it's highlights, as well as a fantastic new experience on the Segways.....and my partner absolutely loved it, after she got over the initial fear and trepidation!!
The tour lasted 2 and a half hours (after the initial briefing/practice) and seemed to fly by......but did get very cold (-3 degrees) for the last half hour when the sun went down, so wrap up!

Our tour guide Hafa was great and insightful! We was able to see the city main sites within a couple of hours and learnt about the history of the place! Would recommend if you want to understand the history of each site instead of just looking and taking photos

We took a Segway tour with a number of other families while we were visiting Hungary for the Olympic hopes Regatta in Szeged. (We had three days in Budapest before leaving for the Regatta.) The night we were supposed to have our Segway tour, it was rainy and the tour guides suggest that we rebook for the following night as our river cruise had been cancelled due to the flooding. We couldn’t have been happier as the tour was so much more enjoyable in dry weather. The three guides we had were all knowledgeable and super friendly.
This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. 2 1/2 hours and saw so much of both the Buda and Pest sides. I would absolutely recommend this tour and look forward to participating in other Segway tours in other cities.

We recently took a Segway tour in Budapest, and it was absolutely perfect. Our tour guide, Becca, was brilliant—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He made the city’s rich history come alive with his stories and insights. The Segways were easy to use and allowed us to cover more ground than a walking tour. We visited all the major landmarks and some hidden gems, all while enjoying stunning views of the city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Budapest. It’s an unforgettable experience!

What sites does the 2.5 hour tour cover that the 1.5 hour tour doesn't?
Written March 18, 2024
Hello,
Does this start in the city centre, do you know how far the distance to walk from Hard Rock hotel is?
Thank you
Written August 9, 2022
It is City center between the Marriott and Elisabeth bridge in the Pest side, close to the Danube. Not sure how close to Hard Rock.
Written August 10, 2022
Hi, I've seen different tours in the lists. I was wondering what is the difference between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours one? Could you please provide some itinerary info for these 2? Thanks!
Written March 28, 2022
It is best to check direct with the company. The main difference is likely to be whether you have enough rime to go across the river and up to the Castle. If you are doing the Castle on a separate trip then it's not necessary but if you haven't planned to go up there then you absolutely must one way or another. Hope you enjoy.

Hello! I have an 8 yo and I know the min. age is 10, so is she allowed in the trolley?

I specifically asked if she was able to ride in the trolley that they specified was for young children.

Hello there. trying to book to the 8.7 10:30 2.5 hours segway tour with no success.
Is there any other way to book?
Written July 4, 2019
Hi there - the only other way is to visit the office and make the booking in person, I think.
Obviously, there's the risk that they may be full so you won't get your trip but, to be honest, there's a few of these companies as well as some others (I saw some tour groups on electric scooters and electric carts, which looked awesome!).
Hope this helps.

hello there
can you please send me the departure point exact location?
Written July 1, 2019
I took the tour about 10 days ago. We departed from the tour operator’s office at Vaci Utca 10/2. The storefront isn’t directly on Vaci. It is back in a small courtyard that opens to Vaci.

Is this tour appropriate for a group that includes a one year old (she should be about 15 months old at the time) baby? Is there an extra cost for baby?
Written May 2, 2019
I believe the minimum age is 10 years. I’m not sure you will be able to ride the Segway with the child on your back.
Written May 2, 2019
HI, I´d like to book the 2,5hr tour for three persons. Is it possible to do this as a private tour, so for the three of us ? We would need an English speaking tour guide. Any extra costs or can we do it for 52€ pp, so 156€ in total. Thanks in advance for your reply. Kind regards, EvdT
Written March 26, 2019
Most of the guides speak good English and we had our own tour with only 4 persons. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you speak to them when you make your booking.
Hope this helps.
