This tour will provide you a comprehensive tour of Budapest and is a great value. We got to see highlights of the Buda side and the Peat side. You will use public transportation when getting around town. In Buda you’ll use a bus and Pest you’ll use the original subway system. Would highly recommend this tour, just be aware that you will do a good amount of walking.

Nomi was very knowledgeable and personable. She explained everything in great detail, answered all our questions and was sensitive to the oppressive heat during our tour. Essential walking tour was an excellent service during our trip to Budapest. We were a group of 8 friends led on a very informative and interactive 3 hour walking tour by Orsi who was so nice to chat to during this tour. We had a fantastic time with our guide today, her name was noemi bodiss and she was great. Her English was amazing and she knew all the best places to go and gave us so much information. We found she was so lovely and really looked after us. It was our first time in Budapest and we got to see so much, thank you so much. We had a personal guide whose knowledge of Budapest was exceptional and we would never have been able to navigate the sites of Budapest without her. Knowing about accessibility on public transport to ensuring we could access key sights with my wheelchair where key to our tour and EVA couldn’t have done more. She also had encyclopaedic knowledge about the history of Budapest and the sights we visited We spent about 5 hours covering all the key sights and the tour was excellent value for money

We were met right on time at the designated location, and our guide Alexandra was fantastic. Very friendly, personable, entertaining, we had a great time walking through Budapest with her.

Noemi gave us a good tour of the main attractions in Budapest. She was kind enough to meet us in the lobby of our hotel to start the tour which was very convenient. She was very nice, knowledgeable and tried to answer our questions but at times she was a little hard to understand. Nevertheless we found the tour very worthwhile.

We took the Small group, English tour of the Budapest Castle. My first trip to Budapest Castle. Our guide Monica was very well informed about the history of the Castle and made it very interesting with her little stories about the place. Best guide, great tour. Very essential to take a guided tour.

Very good tour with a friendly, knowledgeable guide, Dahlia. Dahlia started our tour by asking what we might like to focus on -- history, architecture, arts -- then tailored her tour to include those things. It was very windy and cold when we toured (late December), so even warm rest stops were included! The tour was peppered with local lore as well as personal reflections and provided an excellent introduction to Buda and Pest!

We really enjoyed this walking tour because not only was it a private tour (to our surprise), but it hit all the highlights of Budapest. Our guide was Naomi and she was very thorough and knowledgeable about the places we visited. She was very kind and patient because we had our toddler in a stroller with us as well. Our kiddo managed to lose one of his mittens and she took the time to try and locate it for us. Overall, a must do!

We very much enjoyed our interesting walking tour. Our guide was very well informed and so friendly. We loved traveling around the city like residents on trams and buses.

Absolutely worth it! Our guide was insightful, gave us a great overview of Hungarian history from its beginning to today while walking by the most important monuments of the city.
