If you're on a traveling budget (also time wise), no wine expert and want to have a introduction to wine tasting, then I can recommend this wine tasting experience. Except for meeting a kind and generous staff you'll have the opportunity to chat with other fellow traveller's looking for a glimps into Hungarian winery. While I personally didnt love the red wines offered, the white wines made up for that. Also, the snacks served with the food was very tasty. In conclusion, a very good experience.

We visited for an afternoon wine tasting session which included 2 white wines, two red and one fantastic desert wine.

Our host Christian did a great job explaining the history of wine in Hungary and the characteristics of the wine we were tasting.

The wine was accompanied by a very tasty selection of meat and cheeses which were a perfect accompaniment to the wine.

It was a very enjoyable two hours and I would certainly recommend it if you enjoy wine or are looking for an interesting way to spend a few hours in Budapest.

My friend and i booked this at short notice and really enjoyed it. Christian our sommelier was very pleasent, knowledgeable and engaging. If you like wine you will love this. Great value for money as well, two white wines, two reds followed by a dessert wine perfectly matched with cheeses, meats and bread with oils.

We booked during winter and joined two other parties for a smaller, more private wine tasting. The host was gracious and gave us a lot of information and we had great conversation with the other guests in our group. We all walked away with a few bottles of Hungarian wine. Highly recommend booking the tasting!

This was the highlight of my recent trip to Budapest. I always try to do an activity besides the typical hop on hop off bus or the free guided tours. I spotted this trip when booking a cruise on the Danube and so so glad I found it.

I booked a few weeks in advance and arrived on Monday 20th June. There were only 5 of us but we had such a lovely time and learnt a lot about Hungarian wines in the process which as far as I am concerned are seriously under rated. Kristian was friendly, warm and engaging. He described the various wine regions whilst we tasted a number of them. The reds being my favourites. The wine was also served with bread, pumpkin seed oil and a charcuterie board for each person.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we did not notice when the hour and a half flew by. We all exchanged emails and promised to keep in touch. Kristian thanks for the special birthday treat. It was really nice and meant a lot.

All I can say to anyone is just book this trip because it was the highlight of my weekend break to Budapest and would easily do it again if I ever returned.

The experience was good overall. I felt it was a little rushed and could have spent more time going through each wine one by one and recommend what foods to eat with each one.

The sommelier explained all the reds and white wine together and recommends what to eat but by the time you go to taste you can't remember what he recommended. Bit confusing.

Wonderful wine tasting that included a good amount of meats and cheeses as well as delicious bread. 2 whites, 2 reds and a dessert wine were all issued for the tasting. Each wine was explained, showing what region and describing what grapes. The tasting is set up lovely and gives you enough time to enjoy the wines and try the meats and cheese while talking to the people in your tasting group. Would 100% recommend for anyone who likes wine and wants to learn more about what Hungarian wine has to offer.

My husband and I had a two person wine tasting (given to me as a birthday gift) and we had an AMAZING experience! Because of the COVID situation, private tasting are be offered at the group price and so we had the entire place to ourselves. We tasted 5 wines, if I remember correctly, and were each given our own charcuterie plate to complement the wines. We learned so much about the history of wine in Hungary and the different regions. Highly recommend - was a very special experience.

We did the 5 wines option and even as someone who prefers white over red I really enjoyed all the wines. The food was matched so well with the wine and I would recommend you trying the Hungarian Camembert, truffle sauce and white wine 2 altogether. Flavour explosion!

Would love to do some of the other tours or tastings in the future
