Overview
Sightseeing in Budapest can mean lots of walking and standing, especially when ticket lines are involved. Enjoy some of the city’s top sights with less effort on this Danube River evening cruise. With a welcome drink in hand, take a seat and let landmarks such as the Chain Bridge and Parliament glide past. A choice of departures and optional food-and-wine upgrade offer extra flexibility.
What to Expect
When booking, choose between two or three departures, with timings dependent on the season, and pick a cruise length.

Head to the river dock near Pest’s Szent Istvan Park to board the comfortable boat and enjoy a seasonal welcome drink or orange juice. Then, settle on the interior deck, which is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, or the open deck, where blankets are available. The boat also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a bar where you can purchase drink at your own expense.

Then, admire Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Danube embankments while you cruise. Glide by the Hungarian Parliament, Buda district, and Chain Bridge, and on later evening departures, view the night-time illuminations. If you’ve upgraded, savor a Hungarian charcuterie-and-cheese platter with a glass of red wine.

Your experience finishes back at the starting dock.

Good value

This trip was great value for money. The port is easy to find and there are plenty of seat choices on board. They provide blankets if you are sat outside but I would definitely recommend wrapping up warm especially if you go for the 8:40pm...More

We took a taxi because it’s quite far from the city centre. We did the shorter tour with no dinners
