Very nice trip, short and efficient lines while waiting. Nice view even from the middle part of the boat. Would do it again!

One of the highlights of our visit, a true “must”. The views are spectacular after dark. You get a welcome drink and have a possibility to purchase other beverages, should you wish to.

### Review of River Cruise in Budapest We took two river cruises in Budapest: one with just my wife and me, and another with our 14-year-old son. The first cruise was a tranquil and enjoyable experience, while the second was more chaotic and less pleasant. #### Highlights: - **First Cruise (7:30 PM):** - Early arrival allowed for a drink on board with a fantastic panoramic view of Budapest. - Smooth and majestic journey without music or speaker, creating a serene atmosphere. - Early arrival secured excellent seats. - **Second Cruise (5:30 PM):** - Arrived early but had to wait in the sun. - Staff managed the queue brusquely and at the last minute. - Noisier environment with more children. - Those seated inside the boat had a less enjoyable experience. #### General Observations: - The queue management was poor on both occasions. Early arrivals faced long waits in the sun, and staff managed the increasingly chaotic queues brusquely and at the last minute. Improving queue management could enhance the overall experience for passengers and potentially increase revenue for the company by offering refreshments or entertainment during the wait. #### Summary: - **Pros:** - Early arrival ensures the best seating and a better experience. - The first cruise was relaxing and picturesque without disturbances. - **Cons:** - Inconsistent boarding experiences. - The second cruise was crowded, chaotic, and less serene, especially for those inside. - Poorly managed queues detracted from the experience on both cruises. While the first cruise was a highlight, the second did not meet our expectations due to poor boarding management and a noisier atmosphere. Improving queue management and providing better waiting conditions would significantly enhance the experience. Early arrival is essential for the best experience.

It was ok. The drink when you board is either wine or a fruit drink. I thought there would be narration as the cruise went along, but it was just music. Having some information about the buildings and bridges we were seeing, and city history, would have been great.

Tour was okay. No room to sit outside because it seems that tour groups are allowed on first. So no matter how early you get there, in peak season it is unlikely you will get a seat outside. The boat is very basic, not particularly comfortable. But I guess it does what it says on the brochure... you get to see the city from the river. .. We went on the sunset/night cruise and the lights were indeed very pretty.

Was easy to book, (on booking.com) All the information was very clear (where to pick boat up etc) Very well organised and a perfect way to see the sunset and main tourist sights..

A great experience. Good fun. Interesting. Riding Segway was easy and safe following careful tuition. Hama was a great guide, very friendly.

Worst experience in our whole Budapest trip. We should have been boarding at 21:45, but our boat didn't even arrive until 22:30, and we weren't able to board the ship as previous visitors refused to leave the boat without a refund. The crew offered us to either board just a few minutes before 11pm, with all of the Budapest sights turning the lights off at this time, or to e-mail the company and get a refund. The company was mostly unresponsive until today when we received a message that we should have gotten the refund with Booking, even though the company refused to give the compensation even through Booking 🤡 Stay away from this company and ruin your Budapest visit!

I had an amazing time on this cruise. It was extremely hot so the fresh air it brought was welcome, along with the beautiful sights of course! You can truly get a good look at the city, and maybe even discover places you didn't know about, so don't hesitate to look on Google Maps what's around you as the boat progresses on the Danube, you might be surprised! I'd advise you to come a bit early. That way, you can wait in the other boat which constantly stays at the dock, and you'll have a better spot once the cruise boat comes. My only regret is that I booked the cruise in advance, before even being in the city, and knowing Dock 42 would be almost an hour away by feet from my accommodation. As I was travelling on my own, I didn't want to take a late cruise in case the city wasn't safe at night. How wrong I was! I never once felt unsafe, even walking alone after midnight. So, even if you're travelling on your own, I'd highly recommend getting a ticket for the latest cruises, so that you can see the whole city illuminated; it'll be even more worth it! Warning: DO NOT take one of the yellow taxis waiting right in front of the dock. They are (most if not all) scams. Use the Bolt (similar to Uber) app to order one, it'll be way better and safer for yourself and your money.

When I book tickets for this cruise,it was a bit late. Tickets were only available at 22:00. So i booked it. Then we realise this is amazing experience. To see this city in the night, illuminated with warm yellow lights, with a breath of fresh wind, and a glass of wine. That's just perfect ! Tips after the cruise: please Do Not trust the taxis parked outside! Take a taxi with App or call a taxi. We didn't know, then we were asked 50 euro for 3 km ride! Still angry 😡💢

The tour itself was nice, but we had a horrible experience with those responsible for the boat. we arrived early as instructed, the young woman at the dock asked us to line up, we went to the end of the line, which was very long. The boat came and they started loading people in, we waited patiently. to our surprise the boat just left, we went to the young woman who asked us to wait in line an she had the audacity to say 'well we yelled for you and you did not come"! we told her, first we were far at the end o f the line and yelling is not the appropriate way. there were over 30 of us, so we asked to talk to whoever above her and she called the "captain' who was even worse than her.....kept insisting that it was our fault and to get on the next bat we must pay again!!! so we made a chain at the dock and said No, we are getting on the boat and not paying a dime. Eventually we did and enjoyed the trip. If you go with these people, make sure to stay next to the person at the dock so you can get in. So, unorganized. 2 stars because the trip once we got on was really nice. but horrible experience before that and we were one hour late.

The view was amazing, drinks were great. We had great relax. The stuff was polite. We want it one more time in future Thanks.

Amazing old architecture with breathtaking views , unfortunately some local business owners are extremely rude, not welcoming with very little or no English language , food and drinks are expensive, not value for money. I will not come back

We were unlucky and our boat got stuck 5 minutes away from the dock so we didn’t get to see any of the sights and just stayed in one place for 2 hours. There was ZERO communication and when questions were asked we got shouted at by the captain. No food was given and we had to buy extra food and drink as we were stuck on the boat. We were excited to see the parliament hence why we booked it but we didn’t move. No communication and no compensation was given. Absolutely terrible service. Problems happen but this customer service was terrible. I don’t recommend this company at all.

Views are amazing but it feels like a water taxi ride…nothing special and the drink was bad and awful with a crack glass. It’s ok to pay more for a better service, good cocktail drink and with a music to set the mood for a nice river cruise.
