Absolutely brilliant tour, the food was lovely and we met some great people. Our guide Andrew was funny, knowledgeable and showed us parts of the city we’d never have discovered on our own. Really glad we did this trip.

George was a fantastic tour guide! Walked all over, got a great history and insight into Budapest and Hungarian culture. Tried so much food. Definitely come hungry. Also great communication throughout booking. The tour I originally signed up for didn’t have anyone else signed up so they worked with me to move it to the next day.

Our absolute highlight of Budapest! We were shown all the sights of the Central Market while enjoying delicious traditional food. Then as we did a walking tour in the city we were treated to a wonderful lunch at a deli; followed by a stop for dessert at a cafe. We finished off the day with wine/cheese in a wine cellar. Days later and we’re still talking about it!

Really enjoyed this food tour of Budapest on our first full day in the city. Barbara was our delightful and super knowledgeable guide who impressed us with the prefect balance of Hungarian history and her in-depth knowledge of all things wine & culinary. We wouldn’t have tried many of the delicious dishes we did if it weren’t for this tour. Barbara was even kind enough to make recommendations for other restaurants to try and she gave us insider tips to make the most out of our time in Budapest.

Awesome experience and great introduction to the world of food and drink coming from Budapest. Start in the Great Market and ventures out from there to local restaurants and end with a nice wine tasting. Very small group and our guide (Oshe) was personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. Lots of food, so come hungry!

Really good experience led by guide Ana. Not only some interesting and wonderful food and drink, but also a detailed history lesson. Tour was a bit longer than expected - 9.30 till almost 14.30, finishing up with an excellent wine tasting led by Gabor. Very highly recommended (tip - don't eat much breakfast beforehand !)

My brothers and I were lucky enough to be paired with George. George is a Budapest local who has travelled the world, as well as living in multiple countries and being fluent in several languages.

We met in the Central Market and began are incredibly informative, very delicious trip through Hungarian culture. His memory of dates was impeccable and it was a really exciting way to learn about the construction fo the market and life in Budapest.

Every delicious thing we put in our mouth, always proceeded really useful information. The wine tasting at the end led by the incredible Sabi was amazing as well. In general I didn't realise that Hungary had such a rich diversity of food and wine available.

Fabulous tour. George was fantastic and very personable. Believe me you won’t go hungry - it’s more than a tasting! We really appreciated him keeping us in the shade where possible on a very hot day. He also gave us some history as we walked around. He took us to the “local” places for things such as paprika rather than the tourist traps. We highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing tour! Andrew was our guide. He took us all through the Central Market and many other places around town. We did walk some which was nice as we were getting full. We tried so many different things! Andrew was full of knowledge about the food and the city. He was super friendly and eager for us to learn as much as wanted to learn. The food was fabulous and we left stuffed! It ended with a wine tasting. The wines were excellent. We were able to meet the tour owner as well. We asked how to get wines in the United States and he had a wine club we could join so we did! What an amazing experience this was. We have done a ton of food tours. This one was great!nHighly recommend this tour!

This food tour was amazing and well worth the money. I had done a similar thing in Prague and been slightly disappointed with the amount offered, but this tour was completely the opposite, we kept thinking we were at the last stop only to remember that we still had more food to eat! Our tour guide was brilliant and clearly cared a lot about her work. She was really knowledgeable about the history of the dishes and also of Hungary in general.
