Book your preferred departure time and travel from your Budapest hotel by air-conditioned vehicle to the dock on the Danube River. Take a seat on the open upper deck or beside the picture windows on the lower deck, and absorb the UNESCO-listed Danube riverbanks as your boat sets sail. Then, enjoy tastings of local wines all produced additive-free by some of Hungary’s leading organic winemakers. Savor each variety and nibble on snacks to cleanse your palate between each glass. As you sip, watch the sunset (depending on selected departure) and view Budapest’s landmarks bathed in evening lights. Admire the illuminated Parliament, Gellert Baths, and Fisherman’s Bastion, and have your camera ready as you pass under the floodlit Chain Bridge. If you wish, purchase additional onboard drinks, such as sweet dessert wines, before your experience ends with a hotel drop-off. Alternatively, choose a craft beer or cocktail cruise to suit your preferences. Soft drinks are available on request.

The best romantic cruise in Budapest
I booked this cruise hoping for a romantic dinner. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The dinner rooms were very fancy and well looked after. The staff were very attentive and would serve us at the table. The violinists playing were very skilled and played some beautiful music. With affordable food and drinks, this experience was amazing value for money and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic dinner.

It’s was alright, not what I expected but maybe that’s own my fault. You had the option of either upstairs (where there was music and a bar) or downstairs Perhaps they were oversubscribed but there was just tables and an empty bar and only a few people. It was too busy to get seated upstairs.

Most people were upstairs and only a few people downstairs so as you could imagine, there wasn’t any atmosphere nor any staff to check on us, we felt forgotten.

In terms of the sightseeing, it was hard to take pictures due onto the glare of the internal lights. I would go on the Danube again but not with the same firm. I’ll be more careful booking next time.

If there’s any redemption it’s that I only to pay £12-13 each, if I had to pay more I’d have marked the score lower (accepting you get what you pay for sometimes).

Excellent cruise on a beautiful historic ship. We went for the welcome drink package which means you are sat out the way of the musicians and dancers, however you can get up and walk around to watch. Extra drinks and food are a really good price and ship is relatively quiet for it's size. Budapest is stunning from the river at night.

Go with the basic package!

We paid for the drinks package which included 3 beers or 2 cocktails. This was a rip off - the beers were half full and the cocktails were watered down rubbish.
When we arrived we got given seats downstairs in the back of the boat. You couldn’t see anything at all. The windows were so dirty with fingerprints that you couldn’t see out. Thankfully, the saving grace is that you can go out and stand on the terrace for the entire time (luckily we had the weather for it) so that’s exactly what we did.
Tip: just go with the basic package, stand on the terrace and enjoy the sights.

Lovely boat ride!
Beautiful boat ride down the river, very pricey though with what you get. Servers were lovely and music/entertainment was good! They don’t tell you where to look or when, so I recommend sitting outside so you don’t miss any of the views. Also recommend just paying for normal ticket, our ‘unlimited’ drinks were actually wine/beer tasting 5 small glasses and I don’t personally think this was worth the price.

Not what we expected

We were surprised to find that this cruise was on a large ship with 2 floors. The dinner guests sat downstairs in a fancy ballroom and the ‘just cruise/drinks’ guests were ushered upstairs to a fairly dingy room. Upstairs there were 5/6 large (seats for 10) tables and a few other chairs dotted around the edge of the room. We wanted a view so sat at the edge of the room. There was a quartet of Hungarian folk type instruments which played nice music for the duration (including a few sing-alongs). We were given vouchers for our drinks upon arrival and could use these at the bar upstairs. You can leave the dingy room to go for a walk outside on the deck which goes all the way around the ship and there is factual/historical information playing outside about the buildings along the river. Overall we had a nice time, just felt it could have been set up a bit better inside to allow everyone a view of the river!

it's worth the money.. we had the cheapest ticket - sightseeing tour without free drinks, but it was great. You can buy drinks upstairs at the bar for good money, and you can stay out on the terrace all the time and look at the sights. Beautiful old boat with character:))) recommend !!!

Don't expect much

The best is to see the parliament, after you see it you're waiting to leave asap. There are dancers and music however the main point remains to see the buildings around which is hard because at night you only see reflections in the mirror. You have to go out to make a decent photo which is not pleasant in January.

A great cruise!
A pleasant evening cruise on the Danube where you see all the main sights & bridges lit up. You can sit inside or go up on deck to take photos as you slowly pass by.We bought drinks on board & were serenaded by the three piece band.You can buy food as well but not much choice. All in all a lovely way to spend the evening.

It was alright
Great if you're perhaps a little older or you get a good seat outside. The boat interior is old, and slightly dingy whilst the alcohol used in the cocktails really isn't great. A little long of a journey if anything.
