Our tour was so fun! We only had a few days in Budapest, and this was a really great way of using them. The lunch was also very cool, at a little traditional place and tasted like food my grandmother would make if she were Hungarian. The tour also gave us a great survey of the city, and our guide was super helpful with suggestions and adjusting the tour to talk about what we were interested in. Definitely would recommend!

We were a small group of just four guys, plus our guide Laszlo who was very happy to do the tour after covid-19. With that, the tour extended for an additional hour. So, in the end we got to see more than usual. Laszlo was great, knowledgeable. Also, some banter on the side kept it fresh. His English was perfect. And the meal just rounded up the experience. Comparing this tour with the regular one, for just 3 € more you get a delicious goulash.
If you're thinking of choosing a walking or cycling tour, pick this one. You'll see far more of the city.
P. S.: Laszlo also does hiking tours. Be sure to check out trailsofbudapest.com

A really fun and relaxing way to see the best of Budapest. And the goulash was excellent, served in a local restaurant, with a very comfortable home atmosphere.
We loved the tour, and guides were excellent. We were able to ask a lot of questions and get to know their lifestyle locally. Highly recommend it.

Did not see/couldn't find the meet-up spot. We were 100% there by 10:30. I am convinced the tour left a few minutes early and assumed you had everybody. We got there about 10:27 and walked around looking for church steps and any sign of bikes.  We did a loop around the church block, we walked by the Starbucks and across the street to the little park area. We asked two locals for help and nobody knew where the Lutheran church was.  You can keep your refund money if you need it so bad but you definitely ruined our day as it was planned around this bike tour, I wouldn't have pursued it if we were actually late but we definitely arrived before 10:30. Pretty lame actually and their response when we tried to contact them about the issue was even more lame.

The guests called me at 10:52 that they are still not at the meeting point and do not find it. We operate this tour for many year, thousands of guest found the meeting point. They could have called before 10:30 asking for assistance or to wait for them, they did not do it. This review is a fraud.

Very enjoyable ride covering many areas of Budapest on both sides of the Danube. Nice pace with many stops explaining many landmarks and attractions along the way. We weren't able to visit one location because of a festival happening and it being too crowded. There was two children (11 and 13?) in the group, and they had no problem with the pace of the ride. Bike lanes for every part of the ride. Most are separate from vehicle traffic, some are with traffic. And I enjoyed to goulash too.

This bike trip if you like to cycle is the perfect way to see Budapest . The tour started at 10:30am and ended at 3pm and included lunch at Grandmas Kitchen which felt like we were in our charming grandmothers dining room. But our guide Virag was brilliant, fun, animated, and thoughtful guide. She gets a 5 star rating . She is an international law student , speaks 4 languages and is degreed in Slovenic studies… very impressive and taught the history in an interesting fashion. The biking was mostly flat and there were many opportunities to stop and take a brief rest… easy enough for recreational bike riders. I would rate this a must do activity in Budapest .

The guide was so nice and had lots of knowledge to share. The tour was about 4 hours and we rode about 15 km. There were many stops where the guide told us the history about each place. The meal was delicious! I absolutely enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

Evi was our guide who spoke very good English and very friendly guide. She is full of knowledge about history of Budapest and current situation. It is a beautiful country and Evi stopped many times to explain everything.
We HIGHLY recommend her and this bike tour. We had an extra stop to cycle around the island too.
We ended with a lovely lunch in a ‘granny kitchen’ restaurant.
Thanks Evi for the amazing bike ride/ tour. X

Anna was our guide today and did a fantastic job of introducing all of the key sights across Buds and Pest. She also stayed flexible too as we had the option to also see the changing of the guards. The cycling is safe and sights and historical facts and stories along the way are really interesting. All participants were also friendly and engaging. A great tour, highly recommend.
