Andrea was amazing. Very informative about what we were seeing and Hungarian history. She has a good sense of humor and made the tour extremely enjoyable.

I had a great experience with Absolute Tours in Budapest! The guide was friendly and informative, offering plenty of interesting facts about the city's history and landmarks. The small group size made the tour more personal, and the pace was just right. My only small complaint was that some of the stops could have used a bit more time to explore. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to see the main sights of Budapest, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Gregory was delightful! He grew up in the area and knows it inside and out. We saw the major sites as well a several off the beaten path sites. Definitely a 5 star -- we hated when the tour ended. The area is amazingly beautiful.

We booked this walking tour and river cruise on our first night to give us a good insight into what Budapest has to offer. Petra our guide was amazing, she certainly knew her stuff and we were lucky enough to end up with just us 4 so we got a private tour, asked loads of questions and really got to know not just the facts but all the local stories aswell. Petra really made us feel welcome and made us hungry for more knowledge. The city cruise after was just right for a simple sit down and watch the beautiful city scape pass us by. Highly recommended.

This was the best tour we took on our trip to Budapest. Greg was very knowledgable and equally entertaining, telling us about both experiences under Communism and the city around us. I’m still talking about it now I’m back home, a few hours very well spent.

Petra was an amazing guide. Her knowledge of Matthias Church and the area surrounding BudaCastle was incredible. She shared so many interesting stories of the events that occurred at n the area. Highly recommended!

Good instructions to find the meet point and our tour guide Rebecca. She was very friendly and had a real passion for history, which showed. She was happy to answer questions and give any extra guidance on specific details during our tour. Really enjoyed the experience and would recommend, if you want a more indepth knowledge of Budapest, its history and the Castle district.

Very beautiful and partially free (if you visit the outside area and the surroundings). It is a good spot to do some sightseeing of Pest. The cafés and restaurants in the complex are very expensive, so I wouldn’t recommend that. We were going to buy tickets for the church, when we saw a sign saying that there would be a free concert later that night. So we came back and not only visited it for free, but also listened to two choirs (one local and another one from the U.S.) —which was a good experience. Right next to the church, there is a Hilton hotel that is like a typical 80’s crystal box building and completely ruins the landscape. I don’t know why they allowed to put that there but —quiet frankly— they should demolish it. This is a historical and heritage site.

A fantastic way to see and understand some of the sights of beautiful Budapest. Our guide Petra was very knowledgeable and brought the history to life for us. The combination of daylight to evening, capped off with the lights of the city from the river was truly spectacular.

Fantastic experience. Greg was great. We had a small group of 3 people, so it was very easy to move around amongst all the tourists. Greg took us on a more local view of the Buda castle area and gave us some great history about the area. Showed us some spots that tourists probably have no idea about! Gave us a great recommendation to go to the Black Raven restaurant in the Buda castle area for a more local experience. Would take another tour with Greg!

Petra was a great tour guide! She is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good, and interesting, facts about Budapest and took us to see quite a few sites. We definitely feel like we got a good feel for the history and city. The boat ride capped off a really great tour!

Delia was a wonderful tour guide. She provided great information. She also encouraged us to customize our tour if we wanted, but we allowed her to create and execute the tour as planned. She was very accommodating and helpful with pur questions. We highly recommend her.

Nice guide. A useful excursion to rejuvenate yourself in the large palace complex. I would have liked to receive 3 times more information and a much broader story telling.

Booked the trip less than 4 days before and unfortunately couldn’t make the trip due to illness. Asked for any refund and given the quote of cancellations are only made of 4 days before. 😂. No food, drink or travel arrangements in the trip but quite willing to take your money for nothing.
