Our teacher Andreja introduced us to some new and surprising food in our cooking class of Slovenian food. We have never had the combination of foods before and it was so fun. I appreciated that we had the class to ourselves because we could talk and learn so much about modern Slovenian life. It would have been fun to have more people in the class as well so that they could help us eat and drink all the delicious food and wine!

We (my husband, our 12 year old daughter and myself) took the cooking class and it was great! Andreja was our cook. She's a lovely person and really has some serious cooking skills. The highlight was her making the štrukli with our daughter. The Slovenian wines served were also delicious. Highly recommended when you're in Ljubljana!

This cooking class was delightful. It was well organized and offered great insight to Slovenian food culture. We had a fantastic time cooking and laughing a lot. We highly recommend it as a must do experience in Ljubljana.

As a foodie I participate in a few cooking classes on my trips to different countries, but this one is really special. I learned so much about Slovenian food and culinary heritage of this beautiful country. The food was amazing. I highly recommend this cooking class!!

Our family voted unanimously that this cooking class with Matjaž and Ana Maria was the coolest and most memorable experience from our stay in Ljubljana. While the selection and preparation of the food was fantastic (and let’s not forget the great wine and Slivovka), the company and camaraderie with everyone there was even better. Not only was Matjaž an expert and patient chef, he offered our family some great advice on side trips to Lake Bohinj for our upcoming stay in Bled. At the same time, Ana Maria was an absolute delight—and a hilarious hostess! Thank you both. We will treasure the memories.

I was hosting friends from Canada and wanted them to try my favorite desert - struklji. I never learn how to prepare them, so I took them to Spela's cooking class. She introduced Slovenian food on a very profesional, homey way. It was great and fun way to spend and learn to cook simple, but healty food. Even for us locals.

I've done a cooking class in more than 10 cities around Europe but cooking experience in Ljubljana was something else. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. He made the whole experience so cool, he even gave us some recipes to try them at home... Cooking class Ljubljana, thanks again for everything <3

My wife and I took the cooking class and it was great. The menu was tasty and the guide was funny. We got an insight into Slovenian food culture and learned a lot of new things. We highly recommend it!

I like discovering new cuisine traditions and everywhere i go i try to learn something new. I found out that Ljubljana offers this cooking class, so i booked in advance which i would recommend if possible for you. First we had some starters and wine and then we started to prepare the magnificent dishes. It was awesome and I would most certainly recommend it to all visitors.
