Beautiful views and a friendly knowledgable guide
Our guide Igor was really great. He was really knowledgeable, not just like he was reading from a script. He changed the itinerary to make sure we got to see and do everything with the weather closing some things early. The views were absolutely beautiful, we had to re-route due to road works so Igor took us to a high point to look out instead and it was gorgeous. We really felt like we got to do so much in one day thanks to being driven around, so much more than we could have on our own. Lake Bled and the gorge were our favourites but it was all so beautiful its hard to describe. The group was small so was really convenient, didn't have to wait for a huge group of people before moving on.

Great way to spend a day in Ljubljana!
We signed up for a small group tour, but it turned out we were the only ones on the tour that day. We got our fabulous guide all to ourselves for the Predjama Cave/Castle; he was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Afterwards the Postojna Cave visit was extremely well-organized and fabulous to see; even though they take thousands through the cave every day, we only saw part of one other group during our tour. Our Roundabout guide was timely both when he picked us up in the morning and upon completion of the Postojna Cave tour. Altogether a fabulous tour and a great way to spend a hot and humid day in Ljubljana!

    Great
Highly recommend seeing Lake Bled, beautiful area and lots to do. I didn't realise I could go swimming here and didn't bring my stuff. There's an adventure park, boat ride, castle, music and different places to eat or walk. Jan was helpful in giving information, very communicative through WhatsApp and customised the visit to what we wanted to do or see.

Had everything, food, wine, history, culture with engaging guide!
Excellent food tour + a way to learn about Slovenian history and culture! I was debating what tours to take and very happy this is the one I decided upon. Our guide Jasmina was engaging and knowledgeable. She was funny, found ways to make the information she shared interactive, made sure the kids on the tour had appropriate meals, and fed us well! I didnt expect to come away from the tour with as much knowledge about Ljubljana, the people, the history, and the culture and art as I did. As I didn’t have much time in the city I think that this was the perfect tour to select!

Amazing guide Ivan and very satisfying trip from zagreb
Very well organised and enough time to see Ljublijana and Lake Bled. Ivan was a super guide he went extra mile to explain everything in detail about Croatia and Slovenia and did everything for us to just relax and enjoy the trip at fullest.. his recommendations and guided walk tours were very helpful. We really enjoyed and recommend anyone to book with them.

    Fantastic day out!
We had a great day! Out guide Igor was brilliant and has really thought through our day based on the weather (there was a big storm due in the afternoon!) We first went to Skofja Loka, a gorgeous little town where we had a tour and were told all about the history. Then we went to Lake Bohinj. We had about an hour of free time there to swim, walk around or grab a drink. It is absolutely beautiful! Next we made our way to Lake Bled where we took the pletna boats (€18 per person) over to the island and had a wander around. There's a church at the top (€12 entry per person) and a little cafe and souvenir shop. After 40 minutes the boat took us back to shore. After another short drive to a different part of the lake we had 1.5 hours of free time. Igor recommended a restaurant which serves local food and we went there - delicious! It's called Gostilna Pri Planincu. The food wasn't the cheapest (it was around €45 for 2 people), but was so worth the extra cost. We also had time for a short walk down by the lake. Then the storm came and it was torrential! Igor bundled us into the van and drove up to Bled Castle (€17 per person) where we had shelter inside while he took us around. The views over the lake weren't the best due to the weather but it was still beautiful. Our final stop (thankfully the rain calmed down) was Vintgar Gorge (€10 each). It was very cool to walk along all the walkways and see the water at full flow. Be prepared to look silly wearing your safety helmet! Overall, we had a fantastic day out and having a guide made it so easy. We didn't need to work out how to get to each place, where to park, how to get in etc because Igor did it all for us. But we also had lots of time to do our own thing. It was a very good balance. It is quite expensive, as the fee is just for the bus and guide, you have to pay all the entrance fees and the boat on top of that, but it's so worth it for the extra information you get from your guide and how easy it makes it for getting around so many places in one day. Thank you Igor! 😊

    Fantastic tour
My wife and I booked a private city walk/food tour and all communications with the company were prompt and easy. Our guide Jasmina met us on time at our hotel and we instantly hit it off. Jasmina is a superb guide and she shared her native city, its history, its food, and her life with us in a way you just don’t get to do on your own or as part of a big group. We became fast friends and laughed as much as we ate and drank.

Jasmina is fantastic! She’s authentically passionate and knowledgeable about Slovenian food and wine. She chose great places to sample both, all the while sharing her knowledge about her country and her city. Her approach was to engage us with leading questions and her favorite “fun facts.” That meant that it was fun to learn while sipping and tasting. We came away with affection for Jasmina and her Ljubljana!

We only had a few hours to discover Ljubljana (as we had our 6-year old with us so we needed to leave in time), and we wanted to discover some local food and wine. With this organized trip, we could check these boxes. We had a nice group of 10 people and a lovely guide who gave enough information without overloading. In total, we visited 6 different places with different specialties going from a nice fish starter, nibbles with bread, soup, hotdog-like sausages and some ravioli type pasta, all with some wine. We finished with a drink and a piece of cake on the rooftop bar neboticnik. This Skyscraper was built in 1933 and was the tallest building on the Balkans at the time of its construction. Finish with a high thus, on the terrace with the best view over Ljubljana. Recommended!

It was an enjoyable tour and we visited maybe 6 different places for food and drink over a 3 1/2 hour pretty slow stroll around the centre of beautiful Ljubljana . A mixture of fish, meat and soup with both red and white wines as well as cake at the last venue on the top floor of a building which had great views but was my least favourite venue. The wine measures were quite small so don’t get too excited and the food was ok - interesting in some places but less so in others. Our guide was lovely, knowledgeable and looked after us at each venue. We were in a group of only 6 people which was just right. I think more people would have been less fun as some of the venues were quite small. Overall it was worth it.

Excellent tour covering about 3.5-4 hours - lots of information about the city we walked to 6 different location to eat food and drink wine. Plenty of all three. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves good food and wine.

The guide Jessica really made this trip which includes a city tour. I did expect more cooked food from Slovenian recipes though. We started with a small portion of whitebait and sardines which were delicious; next restaurant was fermented turnip soup which was a bit like lentil soup; next stop was very tasty local sausage; then we went to a wine shop where we had prosciutto. We then went to a bigger restaurant where I had my favourite dish a dumpling/pancake with a tasty mushroom
sauce - all these were accompanied by a very small glass of wine which we learned about and finally we headed to a cafe with a view for some cake. It wasn’t value for money as far as the food and drink were concerned but it was something different which I enjoyed.

Mixed quality of food. No real sense of local cuisine other than 1 local restaurant visit. A poor experience for vegetarians - there were 2 in our group of 4. We have taken other food tours where we got to witness chefs at work or participate in making local dishes but there was none of this. Too much bread! Too much history delivered by the guide. No local market experience. Probably the lead favourite of all the food tours we have taken. A lot of money paid for this so we feel quite short-changed.

Dear, Thank you for your feed back. We are sorry you didnt like the food as much as the others. But it is true that taste is subjective. We dont agree with you state there is no real sense of local cuisine.. there is only local cuisine in this tour. and this tour is a mixture of tour and Ljubljana and food tasttings. Also you statement about a lot of money. This tour has the most competitive price and for the most food of all the food tours in the region. that is a fact. And yes, bread is very Slovenian :) All the best!

If you are only doing one walking tour in Ljubljana, then this is the one! The best tours are the small group experiences where you walk around with the guide and have easy conversations like you've known them for a long time. Late in the season, we got spoiled by only having four of us on the tour, which naturally made it easier. Our guide, Jasmina (Jasmine), was so amazing that we met up with her for drinks a few week later. Knowledgeable and with great stories, there is so much to learn in a few hours. The tour itself was fantastic. Several food options to try the local fare but also to introduce you to the absolutely under-rated Slovenian wines. Food, wine, history and good company. Can't beat that.

What was meant to be a small group tour turned out to be just my husband and me with the lovely Jasmina. Jasmina was very knowledgeable and took us to places we would never have found and gave us a potted history of Slovenia the country and its culinary delights paired with a selection Slovenia's wines. She kept the tour fresh and interesting throughout and we would highly recommend her and this tour.

Our guide was wonderful! She was organized and very informative about the culture and history of Slovenia. It was so nice to walk around old town and have her point out specific buildings, restaurants and also business establishments so that we could come back and revisit. It was interesting to experience traditional Slovenian food and wine in this setting and they did their best to accommodate my gluten free preferences.

The guide made this experience. We had six food stops.. Each with a different aspect of Slovenian food and wine culture. The final stop was my favourite, dessert with a view over the city.

The guide made all the details of the tour really come alive rather than just spouting facts, and is an absolutely lovely person to spend the afternoon with!
