    Whit saves the day!!!
When our bus tour got canceled 30 minutes before our pickup ( yes warsaw city tours, that’s me throwing shade) we didn’t know what to do. With only about 2 hours notice I booked a tour with Whit and he totally saved the day. My daughter and I had so much fun with Whit. He’s an excellent guide who is very entertaining and all around fabulous. We got an excellent tour of the city and great tips for local shopping and travel.

Had a great time with the city tour, via the Soviet Era van! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun, despite some rain along the way!

    Fantastic
We had a fantastic trip with Mona as our tour guide! She adjusted the tour to our needs (with two kids 9yrs old and 4yrs old). She was very prepared, extremely knowledgeable and very engaging! I was worried about taking this tour with kids, but it turned out to be the best experience we had during our visit! Strongly recommend!!!

    Friendly, informative and in-depth
A friendly, informative and in-depth view of the history of Warsaw, taking in the the very modern and the not so modern at street level. The kind of tours I prefer, walking around from street to street reeling in the local history, all the nooks and crannies, the side streets and the hidden but important stories that one not might get otherwise. Noticing how Warsaw is a city where the very modern (high rise skyscrapers) lie side by side the very old (old apartment blocks of the 60s and 70s) and the even older (remnants of buildings from the war period) Marcin's tour was relaxed, with lots of good information and facts about sites and areas of historical significance...... from the the time the Rolling Stones played in Soviet Warsaw, the street history of the Warsaw uprising, and a look at the some of the remains of the Warsaw Ghetto, amongst a raft of things to see and experience. Afterwards, we had some local dishes, where we sampled the best of Polish cuisine - yes, and that includes pirogi! ha Recommended if one wants a more personal and grounded view of the real history of the magnificent city of Warsaw.

    Underwhelmed
Our guide was wonderfully nice but we got just a 3 hour walk around town. I didn’t leave with any hidden gem information, stories, or really an added appreciation for Warsaw. Maybe it was a translation issue but the “walk” seemed unprepared and I left feeling underwhelmed. We tried to dig into more stories but our questions were mostly answered with, “I’m not sure.” Great walk but I would have learned more paying for data and using wiki. We also didn’t receive our local treat/food item per the ad. Again, as I’ve found with all locals, wonderful people, but for $50ish/person just walk around with access to google and go at your own pace.

    Disappointment
I booked this tour as a source to find out more about Warsaw, see its alternative sides, here stories and local anecdotes. At first, I was not sure if our guide feels comfortable speaking in English. Secondly, to 96% of our questions, the answer was "I don't know". And the questions weren't hard. Like "what is in the building You are telling us now?", "why is Your mentioned character a hero?", "Who is painted in the murial You are showing us?". During the 3 hours spent together, walking large distances, the guide was not as a guide, but as a person who just walks along with us quietly. The information he told, was less that we had read preparing for our trip. Mostly we didn't understand where we are going and why.. If the description mentions "Discover why the Monument of Soldiers of the Kosciuszko Division is sarcastically called the "5 beers, please" monument" - we didn't find this out. "Do as the locals do, hop on a tram and munch on a tasty Polish "donut." - no tram, no donut, no sense of a local with us..

    Fantastic!
Martin was a fantastic guide, very personable and knowledgeable. He showed us places in Warsaw that we would not have seen on our own. Only the 2 of us were on the tour which made it even better. Highly recommend this experience!

    A great experience
We met as strangers and parted as friends. Paola is an interesting, jolly person as well as a very knowledgeable guide. Our tour was enlightening and enjoyable, indeed we had many laughs and felt thoroughly at ease with Paola. Highly recommended. NB; We visited Warsaw in 2019 so the date of visit as stated below is not accurate. There is no facility for 2019

    Walking Tour with Ewa
Our walking tour was a lot of fun and Ewa answered all of our questions. She showed us a park we would not otherwise have seen and showed us a great view of old town. It is a lot of walking, but you get to see some unusual sites. We did stop for a coffee break, which was at a cute little cafe. We learned a lot of history about Poland as well. Great tour - would recommend!

    Mona : top local guide
We had a 3 hours walk with Mona through Warschau. Very interesting! It's perfect to start your trip with this walk. Mona gives a lot of information : where to go? what to visit? where to eat? what to drink?...so you can plan the rest of your trip.

    Walking Ghetto tour in Warsaw
Paola was a very friendly guide who provide us with a detailed history of the Ghettos in Warsaw. She also provided us with advice on other things to do while on our stay in Warsaw. A great start to a short visit.

    Great tour
Met Marcin yesterday for a tour of Warsaw with an emphasis on Jewish history. He was great, knowledgeable, we walked around the city for 3 hrs and 20 minutes. He knew a lot of interesting details about the history of Warsaw in relation to WWII and especially in the period after, during Soviet times. Highly recommended. Thanks Marcin.

    Aleksandra: a true renaissance Pole
aleksandra brought alive to our small group what is arguably one of central europe's most multi-faceted, dynamic and contradiction-laden capitals - with erudition and graceful elegance. having assessed our interests and group dynamics, aleksandra constructed a balanced and comprehensive winter afternoon walking tour, whilst all the while allowing for flexibility and even a measure of spontaneity. she included something for all of us! thanks to aleksandra for a memorable experience. the four of us highly recommend her to visitors to warsaw for her depth of knowledge and critical as well as balanced impressions.

Great way to start your trip
Stephane is awesome! He really takes the time to give as much insight of the city as he can. You can also discuss with him so its not just a long monologue but an interactive tour which goes by fast but leaves with a really good impression of what the city of warszawa was in the past and what it is now a days. Thank you Stephane for the great tour!

On September 10th, we met Mona in front of a bakery. We were late and she was so gracious. She had some pastries ready for us. She brought us to ten places that night. She told us a little about each place. She also told us a little about the areas and showed us the Polin Museum on the way. Mona knew we were walking all day, so she took us on a bus to one of the furthest places so we didn't have to walk. We tasted pierogis at a hidden gem where we saw a woman making the pierogis! We had paczki from another bakery. She took us to a milk bar where we had beet soup and goulash. We also had beer and vodka! I wish we took photos of each place we went to and the food but we did take a photo of us with Mona tasting the vodka! We ate so much that night! I recommend Mona highly. She was a delight!

Mona was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable & amenable. We booked a food tour but got so much more than this, we got a history tour as well.
Highly recommend this if you are going to Warsaw, do it early in your trip as it's a great way to familiarise yourself with the layout of the city.

Food is an excellent way to get to know the city you're visiting, and that was certainly the case in Warsaw. It was great to sample an array of flavors and dishes—from pierogis to Polish donuts—in different neighborhoods of the city, all the while learning more about it along the way. And since there were only two of us on the tour, it was even more exclusive.

We were also fortunate to have Mona as our guide. She's interesting, fun, knowledgeable, and brings a personal touch that creates added value to the overall experience. Hopefully, she'll be your guide, too.

We did this tour in the off-season and it was not as robust as we anticipated it would be, especially for the cost. Our tour guide, Marta was very nice and extremely pleasant. We would definitely do another tour with her again however the agenda for this tour was weak and lacked the exposure we anticipated.
We had difficulty finding some of the foods and some of the small restaurants were already packed full.
As a heads up, there was a lot of walking (which we enjoyed) and you don’t end the tour where you started.

This tour was just fantastic. Mona was our guide and we enjoyed our time with her in Warsaw immensely. She guided us through the city to try authentic Polish food and provided historical knowledge and insight into current happenings all at once. Mona is lovely. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

We were greeted by Mona at our first stop with a warm smile and an energetic hello. Right off from the start, I had a good feeling about this experience and I was not disappointed. Mona walked us around the city and really gave us a local flavour of Warsaw. We had already been in Poland for approximately 5 weeks, tasted a lot of delicious food but she managed to surprise us. The local establishments that she visits made the tour even more special because we love to support the small businesses. Mona enjoyed asking us questions about our journey around Poland and we loved hearing about her life, job, career, family and the reason she chose the foods she did. Walking and conversing with Mona was like we knew her for a long time. It was the perfect way to complete our 5 week vacation in Poland. I would highly recommend this type of tour and especially Mona.

Did this tour with my mom and it was lovely! We do good tours every new country we visit, and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. The guide was sooo sweet, showed us unique polish food that we never would have found without her, and gave us tips/recommendations for the rest of our trip. We even ran into her a couple days after the tour and she helped us find a great restaurant for dinner! 100% worth the money, we were stuffed by the end!

Even though we were a little late (due to a Bolt driver that took us around the block a few times) Mona was waiting with our first tasting. She was wonderful in every way...pointing out a few landmarks on our way to the tastings. We only had 7 tastings but they were all very good. Out of the 7, 2 were a delicious donut and coffee roll. I don't know if it was because our tour was in the evening or because we were late (20mins) but we were disappointed after seeing some of the pictures of what other tours received. I would recommend this tour, but make sure you get what you pay for.

Along with the tasting of typical Polish food we had a myriad of questions answered by our extremely talented guide, Mona. A perfect introduction to Poland and Warsaw in particular. Without this tour & Mona’s expertise, we are confident our trip would have not been as enriched.

Three of us went on a great walking and food tasting tour! Our guide was friendly and provided background on both the food and the areas of Warsaw we were in. Would definitely recommend this tour to others - my group was stuffed by the end of the tour!
