Retro car, inspiring history and a good vodka shot - well guided
Very nice experience. Driving in a retro car while hearing educating and inspiring stories about Warsaw history. The guide showed us how to drive the old Fiat, and was open to questions while explaining the communist time and showing us the hidden gems of Warsaw. Karol (our guide) did a really good job! Polite and educated young man. At the end we got a Vodka shot. I think it was the best vodka We ever tasted.

A must have experience in Warsaw!
This was the second tour I had with WPTI1313 during my NY stay in Warsaw. Definitely an emotional tour choice for me, since Cucumber bus was the preferred bus of my childhood in the 70s Romania nd nowadays I am a car passionate. But the real experience of this tour far exceeded my expectations I had- a nice nostalgia ride on a classic bus. The itinerary covers a wide area of the city, Praha, which we explored with very well chosen stops to get amazing shots of the best mural or abandoned buildings of this part of the city. Konrad, whom we had the luck to have for the second time as a tour guide, was literally brilliant and provided us with impressive stories of the hidden gems of Warsaw. A very nice experience to have in Warsaw.

          Karol is the best!
We did a tour of Warsaw through WPT and had a great time. Karol was our driver and he was absolutely incredible. He had a very great understanding of the history of Warsaw. I would highly recommend this to everyone, especially if you do not have a lot of time to spend in Warsaw.

An qmazing Polski tour of Warsaw!
This tour is great for getting a general opinion about Warsaw from behind the wheel of an adorable 2 cylinder little Polish made car. It was for sure one of the highlights of my stay. In terms of itinerary, we got to see some less known places as well thanks to the flexibility of our very experienced guide - Konrad. If you are coming to Warsaw, book this tour and ask for him.

Through a modern city with a historic car
All calls were responded immediately (and the car type and color made it easy to find once it arrived). The tour was too short to cover the entire city, but the visited places combined informative and pleasant views of the city's historic and modern aspects.

Operator did not turn up without any warning and did not pick up the calls
Booked a self drive tour, when we got there for the tour no one was there. After waiting and calling the operator 4 times (they didn’t pick up) we left and requested a refund. Unacceptable as we planned the day around this tour and ended up wasting a day of sightseeing with no warning. Booked through trip advisor on their available day (26.12) and they apparently do not work on that day. A warning or change of availability would’ve been very helpful on the platform. Furthermore they claim not to serve Russians as one of the reasons to not doing this tour at our booked time. Not sure how determined my nationality or citizenship but I personally have never even been to Russia and such false discrimination is unacceptable

          A must have tour
A wonderdul experience in an old fashion car. I guess I was lucky to get a very good guide,Karol, who knows his stuff. He explains very well the history of the town and answered to all my questions. You shall be lucky if you get him as your guide and hi to him for me. The tour took 4 hours with almost a whole town review.

          Great Visit to Chopin’s Birthplace.
Spent 1/2 day with Karol touring Chopin’s birthplace and baptismal church. Would have loved to spend some time in the church but it was locked up. If you are a classical music lover highly recommend this tour.

Me and my friend Catherine toured Treblinka in December - our guide was knowledgeable and so friendly. We were able to learn so much about the camp. After the tour, we went to lunch at the best Polish restaurant where our guide ordered us traditional Polish dishes to try. We had a great experience

Me and my partner visited Treblinka. Marcin, our tour guide was excellent. Very friendly and informative about Treblinka and the history of Poland and Warsaw.
We stopped at a traditional polish restaurant and he recommended some dishes for us to try which were very tasty.
Highly recommend Marcin and the private tours!

Marcin was our guide to Treblinka and he was excellent. He picked us up on time from our Warsaw hotel. He pointed out places of interest as we left Warsaw. We discussed our reason for visiting Treblinka, which was that my dad's family was transported to Treblinka. We discussed my family history and he told me about his family during the war which was so very insightful since we did not know much life here during the war. He explained many things to us about the camp on the ride there. He showed us as we were driving, where the railroad tracks originally were and discussed the origins of the camp as a penal camp.

Marcin led us through the museum in whispered, respectful tones so those who were watching the movies could hear it (unlike the other guide with a group was very loud and made it difficult to hear) when Marcin set up the movies for us to watch. After the movie we finished our tour of the museum and he waited while I wrote in the book and used the restrooms. At no time did we feel rushed. He explained what was written on the displays outside of the museum and then we drove out to see the rest of the grounds. We walked around the rebuilt train platform, saw the area that was rebuilt to represent the rail line and explained many items of significance in detail. He walked us back to the monument areas, explained what we were seeing and left us to go back to the vehicle so we could have time to ourselves and to find my dad's hometown carved into one of the 19,000 stones placed there, which my son found right away. He was very respectful of what being there meant to me and to my family.

From there we went on to see where the penal camp(we opted not to get out as I as emotionally drained) was located and the quarry pit where we did get out of the van. He explained everything to us in detail.

We stopped for lunch on the way home and learned even more from Marcin, not just about Treblinka, but life now in Poland. We could not have asked for a better experience.

This tour company is one of the very few in Warsaw who were able to cater for solo travellers. Tour guide Marcin picked me up from my hotel and on the way to Treblinka we chatted about the history of the camp and life in modern Poland. It was a very snowy day and I really appreciated Marcin's careful driving - I felt very safe in the car.

Marcin is a very passionate and knowledgeable guide and was able to answer all of my questions about the camp. The tour included a visit to the small on-site museum and also a walk through the area and memorial once occupied by Treblinka II but unfortunately due to the bad weather we were not able to get to Treblinka I.

After visiting the camp Marcin took me to a lovely Polish restaurant which I really enjoyed.

I highly recommend this tour. If at all possible I recommend requesting Marcin for your guide, he is fantastic.

Excellent trip with Marcin. He turned up on time and was very knowledgeable, friendly and had a good chat about every day life in Poland past & present. The day flew by which is a good sign and he dropped us off at an English book shop at the end. Top guide and definitely recommend him and the tour.

We had a great tour with Marcin. He is extremely professional-personable and did a great job taking us and narrating the entire Treblina story. He was able to not only give us the story of the camp but share the history and background of what, why and how this happened.

There were three of us on this tour and we all give Marcin high marks for explaining and showing us this very difficult moment in time.

I did this trip with Marcin, with whom I'd already done a Warsaw city tour. As before, the hotel pickup was prompt, and then the journey to and from Treblinka was very smooth. Marcin was good company, providing background on what we would see and also chatting more generally.

In terms of Treblinka itself, Marcin provided further info in the visitors' centre and around the memorials in the forest, while also allowing time and space for personal reflection. None of the original buildings remain at the site but to me it is no less powerful for that, with the memorials reminding us of the terrible events that took place in what is now a quiet forest setting. I certainly think Treblinka is somewhere that everyone should visit if they get the opportunity. Thank you Marcin for giving me the opportunity to do so.

We had an eyeopening experience to Treblinka death and work camps with our guide Marcin. He was informative and charismatic. Our drive to the camps was very pleasant. Marcin was easy to chat to and he told us interesting tidbits about the city of Warsaw. At the camps Marcin walked us through the history of the sites and the people that perished there. He also allowed us to review artefacts and the memorials in our own time and space without us feeling rushed or under pressure. It's clear that he is passionate about the history of his country and people. This trip while humbling was extremely important. Thanks to Marcin it was one of the main highlights of our time in Warsaw. We honestly couldn't thank him enough!

My wife and I and our best friends just finished this tour with Marcin. We cannot offer a review that would truly be representative of how wonderful this tour was. We gave it a 5 star review, but would actually give it a 7 out of 5. Not only was Marcin extremely personable, making you immediately feel at ease, but his knowledge and perspective of history was without peer. Marcin has a worldview born of extensive historical study and travel. He not only was able to discuss the history of Poland, and his love for his country, but also the history of my own country that I would dare to suggest far surpasses the majority of my own fellow citizens.

I could go on and on with superlatives regarding Marcin, but I will leave it with just this — if you are ever in Warsaw and are thinking of taking a tour, THIS is the one to take. Thank you Marcin for an unforgettable day!

My husband and I so enjoyed our tour of Treblinka with our guide. Marcin Hilgier. He offered us a wealth of information regarding the history behind Treblinka, answered all our inquiries promptly and allowed us ample time to view all the structures. Went out of his way to stop and let us take some photos on the drive home and made excellent selections at the restaurant for lunch!
