- 1Trying new foods is a huge part of visiting new places, but it is always difficult to find the best places. Just join us for our food and culture tour ! If you choose the latter option, a local will take you to some of our favorite places and will guide you as you try a variety of tasty and authentic Polish foods. This tour is about more than just food. As we walk, talk, and eat, your guide regales you with stories of the cultural traditions and history of the places we go and the foods we try. In order to give you the personalized experience you deserve, we keep our tours small. We will chat with good friends, and you can ask any questions you want about the foods, the locations, or Polish culture in general. You’ll have a chance to sample 10 different foods. This is definitely not a tour to start on a full stomach! It can easily substitute for a meal. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to our favorite Polish dishes!

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- DavidW7860 contributionsThe bad, the good & the best of WarsawMy Grandson married his Polish bride in a woodland resort a few miles outside Warsaw. Polish hospitality is second to none and we were made especially welcome by our new Polish relatives. I was in Warsaw for a week and was very impressed by the cleanliness and efficiency of the transport system. If you use City Mapper, getting around Warsaw is really easy, bearing in mind that I am 78 next month. Uber was OK too, although more than ten times the cost of the buses. Taxis on the other hand are to be avoided like the plague. I had a white knuckle ride with the oldest, most angry and downright dangerous driver I have ever met. On my second day, despite giving the taxi driver the address of my hotel in writing, the guy took me to the wrong hotel, same chain, but wrong hotel and tried to charge me 3 times the cost of my airport transfer for a journey ten times shorter. With the help of the hotel manager we saw him off. These were my only negative experiences, we did the usual things, Palace of Culture, OK if you like totalitarian brutalist architecture, or even if you don’t, for the view from the top. The Warsaw uprising Museum, free on a Monday, but unmissable even if you have to pay. Allow at least 3 to 4 hours to do it justice. The Old Town & the Castle, quaint, relaxing, not too crowded, definitely touristy but worth a day. Two Restaurants in particular stood out. The Officers Club next to the Opera in the Old Town, 1 star Michelin food & service for Carluccio pricing, and a vegetarian restaurant called Bibenda in the City Centre, very popular with younger people and currently the ” in place to eat in Warsaw”. If there are a few of you, I recommend ordering two dishes each and play Tapas, the food is exceptional and the pricing roughly £5 per dish. My daughter and family were staying at Powisle, next to the Vistula river, and Warsaw’s equivalent of Battersea Power station, called Electrowna, I think, has been converted into a shopping mall and food court. Once again full of young people. Nearby is the Copernicus Museum and the botanical gardens on the roof of Warsaw university. I had a great time, but younger people would really have a blast. Warsaw is on the up & the City is jumping! Pretty much perfect for a long weekend, or a week if you are at half speed like me.Written September 3, 2023
- 501lizag0 contributionsDelicious evening with friendsI highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see Warsaw in cool way!! I booked this tour for a group of 8 for our first day in Warsaw in order to discover the city through its food and I am super glad we did it! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and chatty so it felt very personal! We tasted many local food as well as drinks and we learnt a lot about Polish food and culture!Written April 13, 2023
- 152dejanj0 contributionsVodka tourGreat experience. Pawel the guide is very knowledgeable & friendly. Tasted 8 different types of vodka and tried local local. A must do in Warsaw. Tipp: eat something before goingWritten December 7, 2019
- meerkitten210 contributionsGreat Introduction to PolandMy mom, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and vodka tour with our guide Pawal. He was very fun and knowledgeable about not only the food and vodka, but the history of Warsaw. We went on the tour only a few hours after landing at the airport, which left us with a great first impression of Poland. We had a great time and found the food and vodka unique to anything we had tried before. Highly recommended.Written October 13, 2019
- Hoi17280 contributionsWonderful food review from Pawel.Very knowledgeable, passionate about Warsaw, engaging and kind. Amazing tour with lots of information, great fellowship.Written October 4, 2019
- Vacationer6880950 contributionsNice way to learn a bit more about food, life and history of WarsawWe had a great time for almost 3 hrs, the places you visit are not made for tourists and the locals really eat there. Our guide Paweł was extremely well prepared and talking with him was very pleasant. Content: 5 stars! Prices are a little bit steep (considering that Paweł did the tour even though we were just 2 guests it was fair, though)Written August 16, 2019
- Delenn770 contributionsGreat tour with a great guideReally fun and informative, would definitely recommend the tour. Pawel was an excellent guide, explaining about the food and drink in the context of polish culture in an engaging way.Written August 13, 2019
- Fliegfreak0 contributionsFantastic evening with PawelWe spend a wonderful evening with Pawel and discovered the delicious side of Poland. Pawel was a wonderful host- he explained all dishes to us and took us to places that we would not have discovered on our own. I especially loved that we got an email with recipes and the names of all food we tried after the tour. I can fully recommend the tour. It is delicious, fun, entertaining and gives a great insight into Polish culture! Thank you Pawel!Written July 24, 2019
- Cindy K0 contributionsA fun evening with Pawel! Our tour with Pawel was the perfect ending to a day of travel! He made it an enjoyable evening, showing us the sights and giving us an interesting history tour, accompanied with before and after pictures of the restoration of Warsaw. We were delighted to go the the little out of the way places for the native Vodka and food. He was informative and had wonderful tidbits of information. It really ended up being a highlight from our trip into Warsaw. My only wish is that I would have purchased 2 of the Vodkas that we tried. I cannot find them in Idaho!Written July 3, 2019
- Michael J0 contributionsA little disappointedThe guide was great but didn't feel it was value for money. We had around 7-9 dishes to try but was really snack food and it wasn't that nice. Two little sandwiches, half a cup of soup, cold potatoe pancakes (no beetroot soup like the picture). The craft beer / sausage sandwich and vodka where the highlights. One of us felt really unwell after the tour and since we hadn't really ate all day can't really blame anything else. I've did the tour twice and one in Wroclaw was a lot better, better choice of food, tastier dishes, better locations.Written June 25, 2019
- JB2010 contributionsAwesome!!Pawel is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is fun and interesting as Pawel provides facts, photos, and information that give you a look at Warsaw’s past. The vodka and food bites are of course the highlight of the vodka tour. He makes sure you get the right balance of vodka and snacks to avoid intoxication. Five stars!Written May 30, 2019
- Esther D0 contributionsThanks PawelMy team really enjoyed the Vodka Tour guided by Pawel, he knows so much about the country's history and the Vodka, and he has the great ability to carry you through all the stories with his enthusiasm.Written May 28, 2019
- Mara B0 contributionsLovely tourFirst of all our guide, Paweł was excellent and well organized. He told us interesting stories and showed us interesting corners of Warsaw. Food was delicious and very well served. We spent a relaxing and lovely evening. Just a suggestion: to switch the fourt stop with the fifth. Dziencuje! Do zobaczeniaWritten March 30, 2019
- Barzona0 contributionsWonderful birthday presentWent with mom as a birthday present for myself had a wonderful time. Pawel, our tour guide, was kind enough to sing “Happy Birthday” to me in Polish. Made my day. Tour guide was extremely knowledge about traditional Polish vodka and foods pairings giving a brief history at each and its significance to daily life and events in which they are consumed. Extremely interesting tour. I will definitely being doing this tour again at a later date. Thanks again for the wonderful time!Written March 29, 2019
- davidrV6351AQ0 contributionsThoroughly enjoyable and recommendedAn excellent introduction to the world of Polish vodka. The snacks might not be too everyone’s taste but the guide was truly excellent - knowledgeable and engaging. Plus the vodkas were fantastic. Well recommended.Written March 28, 2019

Michal was an excellent tour guide. He knew his stuff, both food wise and everything to do with the history, culture and politics of Poland. We went to four different establishments within the Old Town of Warsaw - a milk bar, an actual bar, a traditional Polish restaurant and a bakery. All fantastic. Would recommend.

Our first time in Warsaw, my wife and I decided that a food tour would be a fun way to learn a little about the city and its culture while sampling some of the local food and drink. We were right! Malina, our guide, brought us to various local spots at which we enjoyed a nice variety of food items, from borscht and pierogies to herring, steak tartare, and others. Rounding it all off with a beer and some vodka made for a nice evening meal, while Malina provided good commentary on what and where we were eating. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Really good walk around some of the best and more interesting locations in Warsaw. Weronica was a great guide who brought the city and food to life, a number of varied stops with a range of food and drinks. Only observation would be that the balance was in favour of slightly sweeter food offerings.

I’m torn on this experience. Our guide Adrien was amazing. He was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. We were stuck in traffic and arrived to the meeting point 15 minutes late. As we were the only group on the tour that evening, Adrien waited for us to start which was not expected but very kind. My only concern was the price. The food was good but not outstanding, and the experience was not worth $100/person. This is on par with the price of other food tours in the city so not really another option. We had a fun evening but not something I’d spend that much money on again.

We believe we price our tours fairly, as we focus on offering authentic local food experiences while ensuring we compensate our guides fairly for their time and expertise. It was a food tasting tour to remember. We were a small group, just one other guy, my husband and I. Our tour guide Weronika took us around Warsaw to places we would never have found or tried on our own: a milk kitchen in a family neighborhood, a food stand at the train station, a bakery in a busy shopping street, avodka bar, and a family restaurant. We had a beautiful pink soup (chlodnik), Polish pizza, a berliner with rose petal jam, vodka with beef tartar and jellied meat and a Polish cheese platter - it all was delicious! As we were winding our way through the high streets and bystreets of Warsaw, Weronika explained to us the history of some of the buildings we passed - among them a Russian style sky scraper, a well-known Polish TV station and a few 19th century houses that had survived the WW II bombing. She enjoyed answering our questions about Poland and the Polish language and had numberous suggestions of other places we might want to visit. It was a very enjoyable afternoon with more than enough lovely food.
Back home, I have now twice prepared chlodnik for family and guests. Definietly a new family favorite with us!

Really had a great time getting to see Warsaw, learning some great historical facts about the city that you can only get from a local. The food options were amazing, we were shown a diverse selection of restaurant options (really great way to learn where to go for good food in the city). We also wanted to give a shout out for our guide, Prezemek, he was very friendly, engaging, and his knowledge Warsaw's history, as well as its food, was enlightening.

I’m so glad I booked this tour, as a solo visitor to Warsaw my options to book tours was very limited. Our guide Agata was just amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate about the city and the food.
For the amount of food and drinks we had, I thought it was well worth the money- although exchange rates may be cheaper to go to the establishments yourself, but then you don’t get the tour and history.
I learnt so much on our walk around the city, it has given me the confidence to continue around and give everything a try.
Booking and communication with the company was easy, meeting place was very convenient and a good site seeing your as well.

Not worth the money, would have expected a lot more for that price.
2 stops in the first 1.5 hours. When we got to the different restaurants it wasn't prepared, we had to stand and wait at each stop.
One place we would taste a soft drink. Then we had to share 4 bottles among 12 people. They were far between each stop and the guide felt super stressed.
The last two stops were better but could not save the poor start.
