Great small group tour. Friendly driver, good companions on the journey. Swieta Lipka was closed so the driver took us to a nearby medieval castle, which also was amazing. Lunch was included with the tour and the restaurant of choice was a nice family run place with traditional Polish food. My vegetarian preferences were honored. All in all, a day well spent. The tour was in March 2019, sorry I'm a little late writing this review.

Don’t be afraid to go in the late afternoon. We drove 5 hours across Poland in the early hours to make a day of it. Arrived about 10am and took almost an hour to find parking as the cars were backed up for miles leading up to the main gate. Great visit the place is very interesting and there’s a restaurant just inside the gates. As the place was so busy it was hard to get a picture that didn’t have dozens of tourists in them. When we were leaving around 5pm there were a few people starting their tour. I realised we missed a trick. They had the place to themselves, could take their time, wouldn’t have to fight crowds to get a picture and have their pick of tour guides. Don’t be afraid to go later in day. Getting there early isn’t a must.

This destroyed headquarters of WW2 Germany is a sad reminder of some German officers attempt to end the war.
A long days travel from Warsaw, (4hrs each way) but worth it for anyone interested in military history & one mans courage to try & save his country.
Our guide was great & spoke excellent English it’s just a very long day touring to see it.

I just returned from a full day trip to Wolfs Lair. Highly recommended! Although a long drive from Warsaw the guide,Piotr, made it seem short. He is very experienced and knowledgeable who can discuss any topic which is brought up. The headquarter complex is much larger than I expected. Also the size of the structures surprised me. Well worth the drive if you are interested in WW2 history. The stop at the church on the way back is a real bonus. The day tour exceeded my expectations! Thank-you Piotr!!

Our really helpful guide picked us up on time from the hotel and drove us safely all day. The other guide at the Wolf's Lair was really informative and helpful. She was so good that the 90 minutes there just flew past! hard to take in the fact that you are walking in the footsteps of some of history's most infamous people!
We also visited the bunkers at Mamerki when our driver acted as the guide and also took us to the museum (our visit was out of season so the main section here was not open).
The restaurant included was also really good, with fine food at very reasonable prices, so easy to stay within the limits of the re-paid meal included in the trip and yet still have a filling lunch.
Journey was good, with the driver always ready to stop if we needed a break.
Highly recommended all round

We had a brilliant day at the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki, with Piotr as our guide. He was very nice and accommodating, and also fairly knowledgeable. As I have very specific dietary requirements, he ensured I got a meal that suited my needs at lunchtime. He had the added challenge of the bunkers at Mamerki being closed, so was left to bring us around the smaller bunkers, while explaining how the larger bunkers were laid out. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the Wolf’s Lair, and the particulars of the place in terms of measures taken to conceal the area from the air, it was really very interesting. Our trip did not include Swieta Lipka.

AB Poland has provided us with a good journey. We have a great guide Piotr and a driver who drives safely. The service throughout the journey is good. We had delicious dumplings in a very cosy restaurant for lunch. Very happy day! But very tired on the road!

Whilst the bunker complex was interesting, spending 11 hours on a round trip from Warsaw for 1 hour at the site was poor value for money given the cost being 3x the headline rate and lunch comprising of 1/2 dozen tasteless Russian Dumplings & a glass of water with no choice of anything else in a Restaurant smelling of sewage & awaiting a funeral party!

Dear Guest, Please let us refer to the main points. Wolf's Lair is located about 3-4-hour drive from Warsaw. It is indicated on our website, so that our guests are aware of the journey's duration. Our priority is to make this trip as pleasant and comfortable as possible, so we provide comfortable cars as VW Passat, Skoda Superb or Mercedes Vito/V-class. As for the price, it depends on the number of participants. You had a private tour for just the two of you. The price you referred to applies to group tours. In terms of lunch, as we have been listening to our guests' suggestions, we have just recently changed a restaurant for this tour. The new lunch venue has a better standard, which is reflected in very positive opinions from the new guests. We still hope you enjoyed the Wolf's Lair experience despite a few flaws. You are always welcome to come back for other tours with a special discount.

Robert was the tour driver and the drive from Warsaw to the first stop (Wolf's Lair) was a four hour drive. One pit stop at a local gas station where Robert treated me to a local Polish sweet delicacy.

We had started out at 8am and finally reached the Wolf's Lair at noon. A nice lady tour guide took over and walked me over the key installations at the site. Thereafter, I was led to other bunker installations at the Mamerki (one of which was designed by Adolf Hitler himself!). We turned back for Warsaw at 3.30pm; reaching at 7pm.

Robert was very good company and we had very good discussions about Polish history. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in WW2 history and Polish history in general.

I look forward to going on another trip with this tour company.
