- amandaoS1228FJ00Salt Mine and AuschwitzWe were 17 friends traveling by Europe. When we stayed in Warsovia we got one day free time. So 7 of us decided to visit Auschwitz just one day prior . As we did not have enough time, we decided to research on internet about how to get to Auschwitz. We would have a lot of dificulties by getting there by train. So we found out AB Poland trips on internet and we booked a private car . We were afraid of not having availability or tickets enough . However the Ab Poland managed all the factors and turned the trip possible. The following morning our guide Kevin arrived on time and drove us to Salt Mine and Auschwitz. He was nice, polite , a good driver and always care about our needs . He had no problem related to loyalty , improper charges or professionalism of Ab Poland .
- oscaralbertob3700Ab PolandKevin from AB Poland is the best driver and tour guide! Took us from from Warsaw to Auschwitz-Birkenau round way .
- MLWagnon12300AuschwitzWiktor was so nice and a great driver. My only regret was my Auschwitz ticket was not handled ahead of time, so I had to wait in line for a ticket and then also wait another 45 minutes for a tour, so an hour wasted. This also caused me to miss the cafe after the tour for water and something to eat since it closed at 6. Thank goodness Wiktor was able to beg them for a water for me!!! This was not his fault, and he still went above and beyond. Speaking of water, I followed AB’s instructions and did not bring my backpack or water bottle to the tour and left it in the car. Everyone else had larger bags filled with water without any trouble through security. Maybe the rules have changed? Thank you for a wonderful day! I’ll be back!
- lesliel71900Superb tour with Jacek JaronThe tour to Treblinka with my thirty year old son* greatly exceeded my expectations. Jacek Jaron was a skilled, warm, and expert tour guide who paced the experience perfectly. In addition, he had just the right amount of sensitivity and kindness when I became emotionally overwhelmed at the monument. I honestly believe it was his personality and expertise that made it such a superb experience. I will strongly recommend this tour to family and friends. * I couldn't choose traveling with an adult child as an option for "Who was with you?'
- c123ian00Definitely worth using this serviceVery good driver and a fantastic guide, very easy going and definitely wouldn't have been able to do trip to Białowieża within such a short timeframe without Jesper!
- rabp197300Although it was not what they offered us, it turned out wellAlthough a private tour was requested due to company issues, it should have been shared and at a different pace. Even so, the experience was satisfactory, especially due to the very professional and pleasant driver, in addition to the sympathy of the other companions. Regarding what was visited, everything according to what we expected, perhaps lunch could be something more typical of the area.
- aidaeliaf00Highly recommendedThe Essential Poland - 7 day budget tour was absolutely outstanding. AB Poland Travel is an excellent travel agency. I do recommend it. Aída F.
- nikki196900WONDERFUL!!!!THis was a WONDERFUL trip. WE booked the Premium Car-- both of us have bad back or hips... It was very comfortable. Our driver didn't speak a lot of ENglish, but was plenty able to communicate. The ride to Krakow was long, but worth it. (We stopped at a McDonald's for breakfast on the way.) Met our guide just outside the Old Town in Krakow... she was knowledgeable and pleasant. The Old Town was BEAUTIFUL-- would love to have an opportunity to go back and explore on our own!! After the walking tour (about an hour and a half), we ate a traditional Polish meal at a restaurant near where we were parked-- our driver ordered for us and ate with us. It was great. He then took us to the Old Jewish Quarter and we walked around for about 30 minutes before time to head to our Schindler's Factory tour. The drive there took about 10 minutes. That tour was CROWDED but oh-so-good. Our guide there was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterward, our driver stopped at a fast food restaurant for dinner on the way back to Warsaw. Just a note-- there is no "tour" along the drive-- I was a little disappointed in that, as I thought the driver would be pointing things out, etc. as we traveled, but that is NOT the case... Just a note so you realize that when you book. Regardless it was A VERY LONG DAY-- but a REALLY GREAT ONE!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
- 908satoshik00Good tour from Wasaw to Auschwitz.I booked this tour through the hotel concierge the day before. The tour start time was not too early in the morning, which was nice.It was very easy because they came to the hotel where we were staying. The driver, Jasper, was very good. He came on time for pick up, drove safe but speedy. His English is very good. I would recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic experience on this trip,we wanna thank our guide-karol,not just because he arranged polish cuisine for us or his driving skill is smooth but because he is considerate, always care about us and be on time. I would say,He is on top of things.
Especially I learn a lot from him,he talked about Poland’s history,it actually satisfied my curiosity of Poland, and love this country deeper.
It’s five stars all the way. Thank you my bro,Karol.

The tour was great ! Jacek is very funny and a great guide!! He explained and told us about the history of each place we visited, and always very willing to help.
He was on time at the hostel to pick up us, and we arrived to Auschwitz at 9.30 more or less. The tour is about 3.30 hours (between AUSCHWITZ and BIRKENAU), after that we had lunch and then we went to Krakow. There we visited the old town, the market and the castle outside.

We took the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine Day Tour from Warsaw. Everything went smoothly. Our driver Karol picked us up in a private car at our Airbnb address near old town. He gave clear instructions on where to go, which tour to follow and where to meet afterwards at each destination. He was punctual, considerate and took good care of us. We had great conversations during the day’s long stretch of rides. It was lovely to chat with Karol, he offered lots of local’s insights that were interesting to us. The car was clean and comfortable. At Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine we joined bigger tour groups with professional guides. All of the guides were knowledgable and dedicated to what they do. We would book AB Poland Travel again in future visits and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

I make the Tour to Ausschwitz and Krakau at the 29.01.2020. The driver collect me in the lobby and we drive in a small bus from Warschau to Ausschwitz. The driver was very nice and try to make the tour as comfort as possible. Arrive in Ausschwitz the Tourguide give as headphones, so it was easy to understand everything even if there was a lot of people.
After the tour we got a tasty lunch in a restaurant and drive then to Krakow. Here we walk through the city and christmas market and see some Touristpoints. After the tour we got a little bit time for us to look at the city.
Then we meet at the bus and the driver bring as safety to the hotels.
I can say, if you are interest in Ausschwitz and you have the possibily to go there, i would chosse AB Poland Travel. The customer service and all around is good organised and you can be sure you will have a nice trip with a lot of memories.

My tour guide/ driver collected me at my hotel in Warsaw in a luxurious Mercedes Vito at about 06:30. We were four passengers in the vehicle which is an optimal number. The travel to Auschwitz was easy and done in comfort. The tour guide/ driver was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed seamless access to the Auschwitz site. Lunch was adequate, consisting of a sandwich, juice and fruit. From Auschwitz we travelled to Krakow where we spent 2 hours on a walking tour with a local tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Krakow Old Town. We travelled back to Warsaw and was again dropped off at my hotel at about 23:40. It was a long day, but thoroughly worthwhile and strongly recommended.

My friend and I recently went on a tour with this company. We had a memorable time and learned a lot from the tour guides. Our driver Piotr picked us up and dropped us off at the place we were staying in a timely manner. He was a nice guy and if anyone had a question he answered it for us.. On the way to and from the tours we were able to stop and take a few breaks. The lunch we ate before the first tour was also really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone I know that will be visiting Poland in the future!

The tour was amazing!
The driver was really polite and took a good care of us. The tour itself was set up nice. Auschwitz was really impressive and tough to do but absolutely necessary to know about. Wieliczka in the end of the day was beautiful and made a good balance after Auschwitz.

We followed the recommendations here on tripadvisor and booked the full day tour of Auschwitz and Krakow from Warsaw on rather short notice. E-mail communication was very good, easy payment to confirm the booking (you pay a deposit, the rest is paid in cash on the day of the tour), clear instructions on what to expect on the day of the tour. We really enjoyed the day, I just have some minor suggestions for improvement:
- Our tour started with lunch at 11.30 am at a restaurant close to Auschwitz (we also had a 30 minutes stop at a McDonalds on the way out). It was a bit early for some of the people in our group, but fine for me. However, the food and service was only average: Tomato soup (starter) and some kind of traditional Polish stew with mashed potatoes/sauerkraut. Only one jug of water at the table. We were not offered to order any additional drinks (or even a second jug of water) and there was no information at all about what the food was. I asked the waiter about that because my husband is a vegetarian. He got fried eggs instead of the stew at least. Maybe we should have communicated this at the time of our booking.
- The tour of Auschwitz is with a larger group (so not just the people you travel with on the day). Everybody gets a receiver and headphones, so you can hear the guide at all times. It gets a bit crowdy in the exhibition and the guide was rather quick, so you have to pay attention to keep up. However, the tour met our expectations. if you already know the basics about what happened at Auschwitz, you won't learn a lot of new stuff. Still, I appreciated the opportunity to visit the place for myself!
- We arrived in Krakow after 5 pm and met our guide. Unfortunately, the castle hill is closed after 5 pm, so we could not enter that area. It seemed like one of the most interesting parts of the city, so we will definitely come back and explore the city a bit more in detail. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and open to questions.
- Apart from the lunch stops, there are no fixed toilet/food breaks. However, both the driver and the guide in Krakow offered to take a break anytime we wanted (we just had to tell them). The schedule was quite tight (but efficient!) and given the cold weather, a fixed afternoon break with some snacks/tea and coffee might be a good idea during the winter months.
- According to the e-mail instructions before the tour, you are not allowed to consume food or hot drinks in the car. I found that a bit patronizing, both because you might get hungry during the drive (3,5 hours one way) and especially in the winter, a hot drink might make things a bit more cosy. Our driver had coffee in the car in a takeaway cup, so I'd say trust your guests enough to not spill things everywhere :-)
All in all, I'd say be prepared to have a long day (we got picked up at 7 am and got back home at 10.15 pm), take snacks and dress appropriately. We had some really cold wind in Auschwitz and Krakow, but I still enjoyed the tour - despite being 5 months pregnant and maybe needing a toilet break more often than the others. :-) Special shoutout to our driver as well, who was driving very responsibly!

I was looking for a day trip from Warsaw to Kraków and Auschwitz. The prices for two people were quite expensive. While reading Trip Advisor reviews I came across mention of someone using AB Travel Poland and how they actually contacted them thru the Visitors Information office in Warsaw and were able to be added to another group which brought the price down. I contacted the Information office who put me in touch with AB Travel. I was able to book our trip while we were still in Vienna and confirm everything. They were very responsive by email, allowed me to make a deposit via internet and complete the transaction with cash at pickup. Peter our driver was efficient, very pleasant and personable and kept the long day schedule running in a timely manner. I was very pleased and relieved to join another group as it made our price almost half of what it would have been for just the two of us. It was also fun getting to know the other passengers. I would recommend AB Travel!

This tour absolutely made my trip to Poland. We were picked up and dropped back to the door of our hotel in Warsaw. The driver was really friendly and didnt mind us charging our phones in the van. Four of us went on the tour which was €135 and not once did i have to spend any money for the whole day, the van was comfortable enough for us all to have a nap on the way. The driver stopped at the shop for us in the morning and on the way back. We went to Auschwitz first, there was no waiting around at all. We then went from there to the second camp.. stopped for lunch at a really nice restaurant where one of us was provided a fully vegan meal! We then drove to Krakow and we're met by a really nice tour guide who walked us around the city. The walking tour was really informative and the tour guide was so friendly and knew so much about the history of krakow. Amazing experience.

Hi, I am interested in this tour on 26 April from Warsaw but I have flight from Krakow to Prague. Would you the vehicle we travel have the space for a checkin type of luggage? I will take a taxi from tour's stop in Krakow to the airport on my own

From memory, I think that they would have trouble accommodating luggage. Also, the stop in Krakow is fairly brief at around 11-12 o’clock and the lengthy Auschwitz tour follows. There is no stop in Krakow after that so it would be difficult to do what you have planned. Hop this helps.

We are 2 people, and it is quite expensive. But we would not mind to share the trip with someone else, in order to reduce the price, is this possible? It would be on Saturday, June 9. Thank you very much. We would like the tour in Spanish.

Somos 2 personas, y resulta bastante caro. Pero no nos importaría compartir el viaje con alguien más, al objeto de reducir el precio ¿es esto posible?. Sería para el sábado 9 de junio. Muchas gracias.
