Wonderful time seeing the city and learning its history.
This is a great way to see the city of Warsaw and the significant points of interest while also learning about its history. It’s like getting an overview; you can then go back on your own time and explore more specific area(s) in more detail if you like. Our guide Konrad was great! His knowledge of history is extensive and equally important, his personality and hospitality are second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend this. Kudos Konrad, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you!

City Tour in Soviet era car!!!
Super tour of Warsaw. Karol speaks terrific English and really is an expert. Passionate about history, curious about the world, he makes bumping along in that Soviet era Fiat more than just a nostalgia ride.

You won’t find a better guide
Martin is as good a tour guide as you can get. Honestly, if I was going back I’d call ahead and request him. I was already in Lublin instead of Warsaw, which is the normal starting point. He had no problem meeting me in Lublin and picking me up. As far as the tour itself, there probably isn’t a question you’ll think of that he won’t be able to answer. People tell me I’m good with history, but I’m not close to Martin’s level. I also learned about the impact that WW2 and the Holocaust had (and continues to have) on the relationship between Germany and Poland. We finished with a very pleasant lunch at an excellent restaurant. Again, it’s worth calling the company and requesting Martin, even if you have to shift your plans or pay extra.

      Great way to see Warsaw
Our guide was very knowledgeable and he took us to various areas of Warsaw that we wouldn’t have seen if not for the tour. He was attuned to the city and knew a lot about the past and present day. He was passionate about Warsaw and the country. It was a wonderful tour!

      Interesting tour with great guide!
The tour was guided by young PhD student of history, who was very knowledgable and gave us very deep insights into Warsaw history. We took a drive in old Polski Fiat 125 P, taking us back into communist times (and my childhood). Every recommendation should you come to Warsaw.

      Private Warsaw insider historical perspective
Our guide Karol is an excellent historian and showed us the major attractions of Warsaw in a very entertaining and engaging manner. This was much better as a private tour

Amazing Warsaw in a Retro Fiat.
Konrad picked us up at our hotel and ones customizing the tour to our liking, we headed out for an eventful day. Konrad was very knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw and Poland. We very much enjoyed his sense of humor, the sweet treat and the ‘attitude adjuster’ (polish vodka), that he provided. I strongly recommend this tour and if you are as lucky as us, you will get Konrad as your guide/chauffeur.

      Great tour to Chopins birthplace.
We were picked up at our hotel by Marcin and went on the most incredible tour to Frédéric Chopin birthplace in Zelazowa-Wola. On our way he stopped at the bakery and bought us delicious polish donuts. Marcin was informative, funny and very knowledgeable about Chopin and history. At the house we were treated to a 20 minute outdoor performance by a young pianist. After viewing the house and garden, we drove to the church where Chopin was baptized. I strongly recommend this tour, it was amazing 🇵🇱👍.

Karol was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide and we’re very happy with our tour with him. He answered all of our questions, matched our pace and clearly knew what he was talking about. He’s also a very nice individual who is the right job. Thanks, Karol!

A beautiful day in the countryside
We were lucky enough to have Marcin as our tour guide today. He wasour guide the day before for wolfs lair. He is friendly professional, extremely knowledgeable on history and truly made our day a great experience. It was a nice relaxing day in the countryside walking through the open air museum seeing how a small villages starting in the 18th century lived and how they supported the aristocrats of Poland was a beautiful park And Palace of the family that was landowners of these villages. We had an amazing lunch in a beautiful setting for me was a great experiencing the smaller towns different settings than just the major cities.

Wolf’s Lair a mus for history buffs
We were picked up at our hotel by Marcin He was very friendly, professional, and accommodated any needs that we had during our trip with him. He also very informative on history and made our trip very enjoyable. We arrived at Wolf slayer was amazed how big and detailed this bunker was and learn history history that I was not aware of so this is a must for people that are interested in World War II history and Polish history and how Poland was affected. Went for a delicious lunch one of my favorite meals that I had so far in Poland. And our last stop was a beautiful church with the most incredible ornate organ that I have ever seen. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Marcin as your tour guide he definitely enhanced our experience.

We were greeted by a young polite man named Karol who let us drive through old parts of Warsaw and explained ditaily history of those places. He was also open for small talk and treated us well on the whole ride. The small Fiat 126p was in great condition and our tour guide explained well how to drive it. It's a nice way to see Warsaw and try a new thing for a good price. We would definitely do it again.

My family and I visited Warsaw for the second time in 12 months and both times really enjoyed ourselves. So much to see and do. However, the highlight was driving a couple of retro Fiat cars around the city. When were booking and organising the tours Patrycja was so helpful, whilst Karol our guide was very knowledgeable and good company, not to mention an expert photographer! Also, actually being able to drive the iconic cars was such fun. The two and a half hour tour whizzed by yet we saw so much and learnt a lot about the history of the city. Definitely do another driving tour in the future.

It was incredibly nice! We had so much fun with this car. Our guide was kind and calm even though we were almost half an hour late. In the beginning he showed us how the car works and after that I could take over and drive through the city. I can only recommend this trip.

It was my childhood dream to drive a Fiat 126p, so maybe my review not gonna be so objective 😄

Even though we were a bit late and stressed when we arrived, Karol helped us to calm down and showed us where can we store our bags. (In side the Palace of Culture and Science there is a Post office on the ground floor, right next to it you can find lockers.)

Back to the tour: Karol showed both of us how to handle the car, and made sure that we can safely operate it in the traffic. He knows the little car well and could answer my super specific and freaky questions as well.

Our guide was obviously really passionate about the city and its history, and didn’t felt like he just learned it from a textbook. The whole tour was more like a friendly conversation, where we got informations and background stories about what we were interested in.

It was the highlight of our stay, I want to thank for the opportunity and the effort to preserve this iconic little cars, and especially for Karol that he made this tour unforgettable!

At first we were sceptical about the price and what we’ll see and experience. But the guide blown that thougts out of the window, at the very begining. We had some fun driving lessons (just to be sure that we know kow to do it, driving is simple like any other car ;) but it is some how different. It’s a FIAT 650E 126p 🤩.
Guide Paweł (history teacher) realy knew a lot about all sort of helpfull information and was the best guide we could think of with the best humor.

We warmly recomend this or any other experiance by WTP 1313. We were mindblown and we still have that cute childish smile on our faces when we think of that ride.

It was a unique and fun way to tour around Warsaw. I have been to Warsaw numerous times as my family is from here, but I brought my friend from the states, and it was an extraordinary way to kick off the trip in Warsaw and learn more about it and see some of the attractions/popular locations. Although I have already seen Warsaw, the experience of driving around in a little Fiat 126 was something cool/new to me that I really enjoyed, and I know my friend did as well. If you have a friend that is into cars and can drive manual, this would be perfect for a few hours around Warsaw. Marcin was a great guide and very easy going while also being very informative. Speaks great English!

Booked this tour through Getyourguide. We quite literally stepped back into time Back to the Future style in a classic Fiat 126. Our mode of transport through the beautiful bustling Polish capital. Our guide was excellent, knowledgabel and very friendly. He sat in the back of the car and directed us where to go while explaining the history and pointing out sites of interest. A superb guide and a superb tour highly recommended for anyone with a sense of adventure.

Had an awesome time exploring Warsaw on this tour! Great way to bop around the city, learn some history, and take in the views.

The title is a bit misleading - these aren't really self-guided, more so private tours. For our booking we got a car and a guide who pointed us where to go as my wife drove us around.

Note, the cars are old and a bit small - this means that you should ideally be comfortable driving manual, and not someone who describes yourself as "tall". I'm about 6'6" (1.98m) and I couldn't fit behind the steering wheel.

If you can't fit or don't want to drive, I'm sure your guide would be willing to do so for your tour, but it's definitely fun to be able to drive as part of the experience.

Would reccommend. We had this tour for only two people + guide. The guide was friendly, informative, professional.
Driving the car is fun but may be a little harder if you’ve never driven an old car before :)
Choose this activity if you’re spending only a few days in Warsaw because you will see the most popular objects and architecture.

Just an excellent experience. The car was very fun to drive. Our guide Martin was patient, knowledgeable, and also had a great sense of humour. Got to see some very interests parts of the city that would be impossible on most tours. Would 100% do again if I was back in Warsaw.
