See all the history you read about! Warsaw Ghetto and Warsaw Uprising.
Excellent tour! Marcin knows all the details and stories and shared them with us on a 3.5 hour rainy day! We had a great time seeing the many sights associated with the Warsaw Ghetto and the Warsaw Uprising. So much interesting history packed into one morning. Great tour if you want to see all the places you have read about. Marcin owns several really cool old communist vans and the one we were it was so cool- retro, basic 1946 technology in a 1990 made vehicle! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    WWII tour in retro minibus
We had great time exploring Warsaw from WWII "angle". Our guide was fantastic and explained the reasons behind various events that happened. The tour included many stops where the guide showed us real pictures of that time and placed us in those areas perfectly. Since it was our first day in Warsaw, it was nice that you were picked up from the hotel.

    Absolutely fantastic!
I highly recommend this trip and our tour guide and driver Artur. The trip was organised with a very short notice but the company was very flexible, understanding and extremely professional. Artur is a hugely knowledgeable person while he also has a great sense of humour. As a result, we had a fantastic time discovering Warsaw. I organised that trip for my two friends from Israel. They were absolutely delighted with the whole experience. And although I live in Warsaw, I also had a chance to learn a lot myself. Best trip ever! And the old car Żuk was an excellent fun addition to the experience 😁

Good food and its history in Warsaw
Martin is an excellent guide. His historical knowledge of how and where and why certain foods were developed, and by which ethnic groups, is outstanding. Skip breakfast, you will be full of good food and knowledge by the end of Martin’s tour.

    A must do trip
This was the perfect tour for first time visitors. Arturo was an amazing tour guide. He answered all of our questions and spoke perfect English. I don't think the tour would have been as pleasant without Arturo! Thank you for an amazing trip!

Marcin was incredibly knowledgeable and a great communicator. He made extra stops to show us war monuments that were relevant to my grandfather. I would easily do more of his tours

    Must do in Warsaw!
Such an amazing experience! We are big history buffs and this wowed us. If you’re looking to see Warsaw for what it was, is and is to come, this is an incredible tour. We had incredible discussions and learned so much. Couldn’t recommend enough. This tour is better than any museum we did.

WHAT YOU ONLY THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT WARSAW IN WWII
First off our guide, Art, picked us up at our hotel in a vintage 60 year old Polish Fire Truck. Our journey through time in that vehicle alone was worth the price of the tour. Art tailored our tour to our needs, limited mobility, on we got to see and experience more than we could have hoped for. Art's unique knowledge of the former Ghetto took us to places that aren't listed on any map. We even got a chance to see the narrowest home in the world. A must see if ever in Warsaw. ,

Better than any history class you can sit through
Booked 3 amazing private tours with this company- Best of Warsaw, WWII Warsaw, and Warsaw under Communism. Every guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us their unique perspectives on what makes Warsaw and Poland's history so much different from other European countries. No university level class or history-related cable TV show give you the historical insights one of these tours will. Highly recommend this tour operator for anyone who is serious about learning more on Polish military history, the country's history, and the culture as well. You will not regret booking one of these tours :)

    Excellent WWII History tour
An amazing tour of WWII Warsaw history. Marcin was very friendly and knowledgeable about all things Warsaw, plus giving a deeper level explanation of WWII events. The van added a fun aspect to the tour and allows you to see a lot of the city. Definitely recommend this tour. 10/10!

Lukas conducted an excellent behind the scenes tour. He arranged the pick-up and drop-off for our convenience. His ability to lend historical context to each segment made the tour a special experience. He is a skilled communicator and injects humor to keep customers entertained throughout. Keep up the good work!!

Great way to spend a few hours discovering the history of Warsaw. We we transported around in an old retro communist van and our Guide Art was very informative and made the trip a very enjoyable and informative one. There is lunch included as well in a lovely bistro in Praga, even better when its accompanied by cucumber vodka! A great trip to get to know the history of Warsaw.

We are a family of four and were in Warsaw for just three days between Christmas and New Year. So glad we chose this tour! The bus was surprisingly comfortable and our guide, Art, was fantastic. We learnt so much about the history and culture of Warsaw and he also pointed out things we would never have noticed otherwise (look out for the piano keyboard zebra crossings, in honour of Chopin!). The light lunch - and vodka, of course - in a traditional bistro was very good. We highly recommend this tour but do it near the start of your visit as it will really make everything you see in Warsaw afterwards come to life.

Wow, what a trip. We were around 20 people on the bus and we were suppose to drive around for 2 hours. But due to the amazing guide and people asking questions, it took maybe an hour longer - and it was no problem. The guide knew what he was talking about, his knowledge was sublime and the way he told about the Cold War, Communism and Stalin was so amazing. We had younger children along (7-9) and they were really paying attention to all the stories.

Can highly recommend Warsaw behind the scenes - they know what they are doing and what they are talking about and their knowledge is absolutely amazing.

This is not your run of the mill, touch and go sight seeing tour. Marcin is clearly an expert on Warsaw and provides really rich insights into its past and how it has shaped the city into what we see today.

Travelling around in the retro minivan further enhanced the experience & the ambience was even better when Marcin played retro Polish songs. Great experience!

Great tour with Art. He really knew the history of Warsaw and was able to answer all of our questions. The tour was very interesting and time went by quickly. The stop for a snack was great. We tried out a little authentic restaurant and had cucumber vodka and spicy polish style gnocchi. Would recommend. Our host Art was outstanding. Thank you

I did this tour a couple of years ago and was so impressed with it I booked my husband on the same tour. He had a wonderful experience and said the guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The tour covers parts of the city that generally tourists wouldn't see and delivers a history of Warsaw in detail including some social aspects of modern Poland.

I am expat in Warsaw and when family / friends visit I’ve tried different ways to show them around including walking tours and also self guided. I can say without doubt after experiencing Michal’s tour I will not consider any other option in the future. Michal picked us up and dropped us off in authentic mini bus from Communist era at my door in our house. Even though they have preset itinerary I requested flexibility in schedule and places we visited and he created our own personal tour. He was not in any urgent time table and he took his time on the things we were most interested. Depth of knowledge was amazing delivered in perfect English. Super Friendly. Highly recommended!

This was one of the best tours we have taken anywhere. The history, the humor, and the local knowledge were a fantastic combination. We are a family of three from California and we had a wonderful woman from England also on the tour. Marcin (I hope I got that right) was so interesting and had a great sense of humor as well. He took us to several spots to show us the city and explain its history. When he showed us the Jewish Getto he showed us several things that there is no way we would have ever understood without his knowledge. We saw the nice parts and across the river to see "a tougher" side of town. Marcin's parents were raised in this part of Warsaw and he had a lot of interesting stories to share about this area. He also took us into a small local pub where we tasted a polish dish some vodka to warm us up a bit as it was a bit chilly today. The tour seemed to go so fast because it was so interesting. He. actually kept a bit longer than he had to. We had so many questions for him. Great tour. Book it you won't be sorry.
