- 264rodk00This is an amazing opportunity to see history and stay in the place we’re is happenedThe place is full of history and the tour guide Marcin was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. He was ver accommodating
- davidkV5124WF00Insightful and SensitiveAn incredibly worthwhile experience for my family. Marcin was a phenomenal guide. From the moment he greeted us, he was open to discussing not only his vast knowledge of the places we visited, but also, to discussing life in general growing up in Poland. It was a wonderful opportunity to really learn from a local. He dealt with the difficult subject matter of this particular tour to Majdanek and Lublin with tremendous insight and sensitivity. We could not have hoped for a better guide.
- Alan B00Hannah our Tourguide was friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about Warsaw history. The tour was great funHannah our Tourguide was friendly and knowledgeable about Warsaw history. The tour was great fun. She is an excellent driver.
- Jo Ann D00Incredible tourMarcin was our guide for this tour. His driving was excellent and his company was even better. We talked about so many things on our way to Lublin. He answered all our questions about life in Poland and we talked about so many different things. The tour of the concentration camp was well done and he gave us time at the end to explore on our own. It was very informative and he was very respectful of the atrocities committed at this camp and others like it. The tour of Lublin was lovely. It's a nice small town and we learned a lot. Marcin took us to a very quaint local restaurant for a delicious lunch. We sat and chatted like old friends. We were dropped off at our hotel at the end of the day and we said goodbye to Marcin. It was an amazing experience and my husband and I would highly recommend this tour!
- 549arielles00A beautiful countryside tourThis was a fantastic tour! Marcin was my tour guide, and I went solo. It was my first time in Poland and my stay was mostly in Warsaw, but I wanted to see a bit of the countryside. Marcin was very hospitable and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Polish history and current events. The specific locations we visited were incredible, from a ~300 year old village to a manor house, and the countryside was beautiful. Lunch was delicious, too. Marcin really made sure I was satisfied and got my money's worth out of the tour: one of the destinations was unexpectedly closed (through no fault of his own) and he instead offered a different alternative which was also amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!
- greendost00Wolf's Lair tourOur trip to Wolf's Lair with Marcin was excellent. He was very knowledgeable (with a background in history including US history) and also friendly and conversational. We talked about all topics on the trip to and from Warsaw, from personal to Polish, including Polish rock music. He was also able to find a spot that could accommodate our vegan needs, as we stopped at a Polish restaurant on the way back. The actual Wolf's Lair tour went very well, as Marcin could explain and highlight key points, answer any questions we had, and help us see through the ruins to how things would have been and key design decisions that were made in the construction of the site. The pacing was also good, not rushed in any way, and we had time to enter certain ruins. Overall, the visit to Wolf's Lair added perspective to our understanding of World War 2, and was a good complement to our later visit to Auschwitz. Just a note on the site - there is a visitor center with a gift shop and toilets, and food options if needed. Also, having a pocket umbrella and poncho would be recommended in case of rain.
- Li889900Great tour for someone who loves history and architecture! This will be a wonderful tour if you are interested in history and architecture. Konrad is a great guide, very attentive and knowledgeable. He managed to make a somehow “heavy” subject light and fun.
- John F00Amazing Tour with HannahHannah had amazing honest knowledge and quickly picked up my particular areas of interest. The tour blew me away on the rich but often sad but triumphant heart of the Polish people. I only had one day to explore Warsaw and was so pleased I choose this company. I highly recommend them. I wish you success and a great wedding day Hannah.
- JillyJef00Emotional but EssentialMarcin was so knowledgeable, interesting and I learned so much. Treblinka reflects the most horrific chapter in modern history and this experience will live with me forever. Highly recommend.
- IrinaE32300Tour with MarcinMarcin was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time. He was an excellent driver. But the most important thing is that he was incredibly knowledgeable. He was very professional: he took time to answer all our questions. My husband and I like history a lot and came to Warsaw to see things we have read about in books or heard from the Holocaust survivors. Yet, Marcin was able to point out things and give us a lot of information we did not know before. If you want a very meaningful experience in Warsaw while you are visiting the Jewish areas, we highly recommend this tour and of course, our terrific guide.
- robinmichele00Excellent Guide and ExperienceMarcin was our guide to Treblinka and he was excellent. He picked us up on time from our Warsaw hotel. He pointed out places of interest as we left Warsaw. We discussed our reason for visiting Treblinka, which was that my dad's family was transported to Treblinka. We discussed my family history and he told me about his family during the war which was so very insightful since we did not know much life here during the war. He explained many things to us about the camp on the ride there. He showed us as we were driving, where the railroad tracks originally were and discussed the origins of the camp as a penal camp. Marcin led us through the museum in whispered, respectful tones so those who were watching the movies could hear it (unlike the other guide with a group was very loud and made it difficult to hear) when Marcin set up the movies for us to watch. After the movie we finished our tour of the museum and he waited while I wrote in the book and used the restrooms. At no time did we feel rushed. He explained what was written on the displays outside of the museum and then we drove out to see the rest of the grounds. We walked around the rebuilt train platform, saw the area that was rebuilt to represent the rail line and explained many items of significance in detail. He walked us back to the monument areas, explained what we were seeing and left us to go back to the vehicle so we could have time to ourselves and to find my dad's hometown carved into one of the 19,000 stones placed there, which my son found right away. He was very respectful of what being there meant to me and to my family. From there we went on to see where the penal camp(we opted not to get out as I as emotionally drained) was located and the quarry pit where we did get out of the van. He explained everything to us in detail. We stopped for lunch on the way home and learned even more from Marcin, not just about Treblinka, but life now in Poland. We could not have asked for a better experience.
- paulaaX7580XV00An emotional trip but definitely recommendedThis was an excellent trip. Marcin was knowledgeable and informative and was happy to answer all our questions. We would recommend this trip with Marcin to other visitors.
- Michael A00ONLY WAY TO SEE WARSAWThis was our first visit to Warsaw and our guide did everything to make us feel right at home. Pre trip communication was great, pick up on time, and the trip tailored and adjusted to meet our unique requests. Our guide was personable informative, funny, and serious when discussing his city's tragic past. He even dropped us off at an authentic Polish outdoor Cafe where we could have an early dinner and walk back to our hotel.
- CatherineEG12300Engaging and enjoyable dayWe thoroughly enjoyed our day with Marcin. He provided historical as well as present day context for our visit to Madjanek. The information provided throughout our time in Lublin enhanced the walk through the city and made the visit more meaningful. We enjoyed the dumplings for lunch and conversation about life in Poland. Overall an engaging day that felt like it went by quickly.
- FrankFromBrooklyn00Extraordinary experience. Fantastic guide. What an amazing experience. Marcin is an extraordinary guide. Very patient and knowledgeable. We learned a ton about this terrible chapter of history. Also had a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

This four hour private sightseeing tour around Warsaw is a “must do” when visiting here. Martin’s knowledge of Warsaw’s past and present is unbelievable he was the perfect host. He crammed so much information into our tour of the city’s history and buildings, stopping at various places, that we left knowing so much more about this lovely place. The food and drink stops, indulging in the local delicacies were great too. We can’t recommend this tour enough it will not disappoint.

Our guide Olga couldn’t have been more knowledgeable. Covered so much history in such a short space of time. Every museum we visited after felt like we were just repeating information we’d already learned on this tour. We had so much fun and would highly recommend!

My friend and I were only three days in Warsaw for work. They recommended us this tour and we went for it. In the moment we got in the Fiat 125p, we started learning about Warsaw and Poland’s history. But what made this tour different, interesting and fun was our friendly and cultured guide, Olga. She speaks fluent english and spanish, which was a plus for us being Argentines.
We spent roughly three hours seeing first the old town of Warsaw. While we were walking down the streets, Olga took us through the history of this city since XIII century, and even she shared with us a lot of information, it was very easy and dynamic to understand. It is crazy to think how many things happened in this place and also it’s very touching to learn about the Polish people and how they went thru all that. After that, Olga drove us to where it used to be the big jewish ghetto, we listened carefully to her explanation and she replied all our questions (there were many..) Our last stop was The Lazienki Park, beautiful park to walk around and visit the Palace in the isle, where also we had an amazing lesson going back to the XVII century.
We finished the tour in the Retro Car and before Olga drove us back to our hotel she offered us to try some traditional Vodka and cookies (you definitely need to try those!)
Thank you Olga for your kindness, your sense of humor and knowledge - We had amazing time!

Such an amazing and informative tour of Warsaw! Martin was such a good tour guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the city of Warsaw. His pacing is great - we were able to quickly go from each tour stop to the next, learning in depth knowledge about each one. It was also so fun driving around in an old school fiat! My boyfriend and I loved our tour and will point friends/family to tours with Martin if they visit Warsaw.

What an intriguing and interesting way to explore Warsaw. The Soviet-era car is a hoot as it weaves around various areas of Warsaw you would never experience on foot or bicycle. Our local guide Marcin is an avid historian and a natural storyteller, easily weaving in fun pieces of our Australian history into life in Poland. Just go. You will enjoy it.

We came from Krakow by train and were met at the railway station by Martin and Agata (training for the job). After a short walk to the car the tour started. Interesting and amusing insight into the city's history. Food in a milk bar, a parting shot of vodka and a packet of delicious jaffa cake knock offs provided! We had time to kill in the city after the tour and they dropped us at an exhibition they found for us online. Great tour, highly recommended made better by Martin and Agata.

Great tour with our knowledgeable guide Pawel. Pawel was very accommodating and extremely informative. My husband's family is Chinese and Pawel included a lot of facts that were tailored to that. We went to make different areas in Warsaw including the Jewish Ghetto, Palace of Science and Culture, King's Summer Garden, Old Town, and Praga. Well worth it!

Great tour guide. Gave us a nice historical tour that ranged from Middle Ages, to WW2, to current day and explained it in context as we passed various monuments.
Handled various curveballs we threw her from having a shortened timeline to bathroom breaks well.
Very good tour for learning a lot fast.

I would go to their website and call the toll free number and ask them. I took the tour that started at 9am and ended at 1. Our tour guide, Martin (excellent guide) said he another tour starting at 2pm. TripAdvisor won’t let me post a link to their website but Google Retro Fiat Tours Warsaw and you can find it.
