About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JR V0 contributionsWonderful time seeing the city and learning its history. This is a great way to see the city of Warsaw and the significant points of interest while also learning about its history. It’s like getting an overview; you can then go back on your own time and explore more specific area(s) in more detail if you like. Our guide Konrad was great! His knowledge of history is extensive and equally important, his personality and hospitality are second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend this. Kudos Konrad, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you!Written October 8, 2024
- E3843SUamyk0 contributionsCity Tour in Soviet era car!!!Super tour of Warsaw. Karol speaks terrific English and really is an expert. Passionate about history, curious about the world, he makes bumping along in that Soviet era Fiat more than just a nostalgia ride.Written October 8, 2024
- mfb1730 contributionsYou won’t find a better guideMartin is as good a tour guide as you can get. Honestly, if I was going back I’d call ahead and request him. I was already in Lublin instead of Warsaw, which is the normal starting point. He had no problem meeting me in Lublin and picking me up. As far as the tour itself, there probably isn’t a question you’ll think of that he won’t be able to answer. People tell me I’m good with history, but I’m not close to Martin’s level. I also learned about the impact that WW2 and the Holocaust had (and continues to have) on the relationship between Germany and Poland. We finished with a very pleasant lunch at an excellent restaurant. Again, it’s worth calling the company and requesting Martin, even if you have to shift your plans or pay extra.Written October 8, 2024
- ac42990 contributionsGreat way to see WarsawOur guide was very knowledgeable and he took us to various areas of Warsaw that we wouldn’t have seen if not for the tour. He was attuned to the city and knew a lot about the past and present day. He was passionate about Warsaw and the country. It was a wonderful tour!Written October 6, 2024
- Dercha0 contributionsInteresting tour with great guide! The tour was guided by young PhD student of history, who was very knowledgable and gave us very deep insights into Warsaw history. We took a drive in old Polski Fiat 125 P, taking us back into communist times (and my childhood). Every recommendation should you come to Warsaw.Written October 5, 2024

- Lisellit0 contributionsAmazing Warsaw in a Retro Fiat.Konrad picked us up at our hotel and ones customizing the tour to our liking, we headed out for an eventful day. Konrad was very knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw and Poland. We very much enjoyed his sense of humor, the sweet treat and the ‘attitude adjuster’ (polish vodka), that he provided. I strongly recommend this tour and if you are as lucky as us, you will get Konrad as your guide/chauffeur.Written September 22, 2024
- Lisellit0 contributionsGreat tour to Chopins birthplace. We were picked up at our hotel by Marcin and went on the most incredible tour to Frédéric Chopin birthplace in Zelazowa-Wola. On our way he stopped at the bakery and bought us delicious polish donuts. Marcin was informative, funny and very knowledgeable about Chopin and history. At the house we were treated to a 20 minute outdoor performance by a young pianist. After viewing the house and garden, we drove to the church where Chopin was baptized. I strongly recommend this tour, it was amazing 🇵🇱👍.Written September 21, 2024

He also very informative on history and made our trip very enjoyable. We arrived at Wolf slayer was amazed how big and detailed this bunker was and learn history history that I was not aware of so this is a must for people that are interested in World War II history and Polish history and how Poland was affected. Went for a delicious lunch one of my favorite meals that I had so far in Poland. And our last stop was a beautiful church with the most incredible ornate organ that I have ever seen. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Marcin as your tour guide he definitely enhanced our experience.Written September 18, 2024

Tour with Martin was very good and you feel how much passion he has about Polish and Jewish history. It was a good mix of the sites, the history and the stories about the Ghetto and the uprising. Don't miss out - it is a very meaningful experience you will never forget. Note: better not to go on Friday afternoon as you miss the synagogue tour and also can't visit the Jewish cemetary.

I took this tour yesterday on my first day ever in Warsaw. Marcin was my guide. I highly recommend this tour.
Marcin was very friendly and highly knowledgeable. He took me around to all of the important sites in the Warsaw Ghetto, providing very interesting history and context of each place. He had a book with old photographs showing how things looked before and during the war. My grandparents were Jews from Warsaw, and Marcin was able to tell me about where they used to live in the ghetto and show me the street. He was able to relate my family's history to his own and to the larger context of Warsaw and Poland at the time. He was also knowledgeable about European and even American history, so he provided interesting comparisons to the different country's experiences in WW2 and postwar.
I was very tired from jetlag at the start, and i was worried I would get too sleepy during the tour. Marcin kept things very interesting and the time flew by, I never got sleepy at all because he kept things moving and relevant to my interests.
I would highly recommend this tour, and my guide Marcin.

Martin was an awesome tour guide! He was very knowledgable and made the tour a fun and entertaining learning experience. We visited all of the major spots around the city related to the Jewish community and history, and Martin was able to answer all of our questions. We stopped at many different historical sites, walked around, saw reference photos, and learned details about each place's significance. He also provided great recommendations for places to visit and foods to try during our stay. Martin grew up in Warsaw, and knew the area well. He showed us all the sights, filled us in on the culture, and even stopped to get us some delicious Polish donuts! We would highly recommend this tour if you're wanting to see and learn about Jewish history in Warsaw, and if you can request a tour guide, ask for Martin!

Marcin was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time. He was an excellent driver. But the most important thing is that he was incredibly knowledgeable. He was very professional: he took time to answer all our questions. My husband and I like history a lot and came to Warsaw to see things we have read about in books or heard from the Holocaust survivors. Yet, Marcin was able to point out things and give us a lot of information we did not know before. If you want a very meaningful experience in Warsaw while you are visiting the Jewish areas, we highly recommend this tour and of course, our terrific guide.

So pleased with my 4-hour private tour of Warsaw with Marcin. After taking an initial tour of the city with another company, that promised to cover the history of the Jewish ghettos and uprising, I found myself left wanting something more in-depth. I got it with this tour.
This tour specifically covered Warsaw’s Jewish heritage, from pre-war times to present, with a focus on visiting sites of interest and hearing about the city’s history from WW2.
Marcin was a fantastic and very personable host, and his knowledge of the history of Warsaw was incredible. This gentleman is very passionate about what he does and it shows. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour and would highly recommend it. Thanks again!

Our guide Hania was excellent for several reasons. Firstly, we had 2 children (pre teens) and she adjusted the itinerary in consultation with us to make it more interesting for them as well. She was very professional and answered all our questions patiently. Lastly, she left us with good recommendations for where to eat and what else to do after the tour.
We never felt like she hurried us. The car itself was a bonus. I’m glad it was early in the day, because towards lunch time, it was getting warm and humid. Hanna ensured we stood in the shade while she explained about the places and their history.

I thought ithis tour was expensive when I booked it, but having done it now, I can say it was 💯 worth it! We would never have seen or learned so much about what happened during the Holocaust in Warsaw without our fabulous guide. Marcin also shared some of his family’s experiences, which greatly enriched our understanding.

We had a great tour with Martin. He for sure knows his city and Polish history. He gave us countless info on old Jewish Heritage spots, as well as showing us landmarks from the socialist area, showed us the tons of interesting spots on both sides of the river, areas that we would not have seen without him. He explained all with deep knowledge. The four hours flew by and driving in the old Polski-Fiat was a classic one, especially when you like oldtimers or own one yourself. We will always recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience. The only way to see the Warsaw Ghetto in its entirety is with a tour, as the places of interest and monuments are very spread out. My guide was thoughtful, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I had a lot of questions and he answered them all. The Fiat is a blast and a real head turner. Most importantly is the way you are treated. This company was amazing. Initially I booked the morning tour. When she sent a message saying the morning tour was booked, I replied that I didn’t know Warsaw and needed to be to the Taylor Swift concert on time. They dropped me off at the Stadium!!

Hallo ,
Niet in de tour zelf . Maar het is zeer gemakkelijk dit zelf te doen . De tour doet niets waar voor betaald moet worden en is redelijk strak opgebouwd . Alles op tijd.

I would like to know if there is airconditioning in the car. And if there are two of us, do we need to share the tour with other customers?
Thanks

No air conditioning. Part of the charm. Don’t need to share.

How long does the tour last? Is it possible to share it with other people in order to have it less expensive? The low price indicated becomes more than three times the price when trying to book it
Written May 12, 2019
The tour we did was a full day and lunch was included. you can share and bring the price down. This tour really was the highlight of our trip to Warsaw and I can not recommend it enough. Really is a must.
Written May 13, 2019
Your site says that the price is 149.06 Israeli shekels per person but when I calculated for two people the price totaled 536.84 shekels. Why the jump in price? Shouldn't it have been 298.12 shekels?
