- Tom15820700Good ideaI've found it very useful. You have a card valid 24 hrs and plenty of places to see. Helpful diver...
- thesparkster201700Good way to get around, but not as good as Hop-On Hop-Off buses in most citiesWarsaw cabs are not real friendly and not real cheap, so this is a decent alternative. Warsaw also does not have a ton of touristy things, so the HOHO bus does get you to most of them. However, I will say that compared to most cities HOHO buses, Warsaw's were rather weak. They did not run on time, they did not seem very efficient and organized in getting people on and taking payments, and the audio was not that great (sometimes not matching the area the bus was in, sometimes not coming through clearly). I wish there were more options, but I don't really think there are in Warsaw.
- GRAHAM C00Hop on Hop off tour of Warsaw.......with a very accommodating driver. We have travelled on many of these bus services all over Europe as they are an excellent way to get your bearings when visiting a new city. You get what it says on the tin so to speak. This was no different. The bus was a bit old but its two routes gave us exactly what we wanted on our day trip to Warsaw from Krakow. The commentary was superb and gave us a great insight into what the city had suffered in recent times. We picked up the bus outside of Central Station and stayed on it for most of the afternoon until we knew our whereabouts, before deciding to walk through the old city, which was a delight. We rejoined the bus ( same one, same driver ....probably the only one working that day!!!!) which was completely empty so he took us directly back to the railway station to catch our train. A perfect taxi service. Top tip :- if you are staying in Warsaw for a few days use this service for a day and then buy the Warsaw Transport daily ticket for all trams, buses and local trains from the office in the Central Railway station.....cost £3....over 70s go free with photo identification.
- Simon J00Warsaw: Big, modern city. The old town is quaint, vibrant but small. The rest is big, modern & noisy. Try Birmingham instead, it's closer, cheaper to travel to & you don't need to change money. Probably still need a phrase book, though.
- Matty M00Good way to see the cityGood value for money , and takes you around the city to show the well know sights of the city. Convenient and well marked stops. Helpful staff to assist you on your tour plans
- JenniHoward00Not worth itWe hopped on at the science and Culture Museum and might as well have hopped right off. One bus covers two lines, but if you stay on for the second line, it goes past loads of the same places and tells you the same things over and over. We did get into a crash! Car slammed into us, no harm to us but no one even bothered to check. Most people got off without completing both lines
- MizBinky00Not a good experienceI took a gamble on this tour as it was snowing/raining today and thought at least I could see some sights on a warm bus. Wrong, there was essentially no heat on the bus. Clearly the driver had heat as he wasn't wearing a coat but the passengers were all freezing. The heat issues aside, there isn't really much commentary. A few sentences about various things then back to the music. While I don't expect non-stop commentary, I expect more than 5-10 minutes worth during an hour long tour. I stuck it out and did both routes (first red then blue) without getting off at any stops until the end of the blue tour. I considered riding back to Old Town but my feet were numb at that point so I got off and went back to the hotel to get warm. There is only one bus in total and it does both routes - red and blue - each route is 1 hour in duration. I believe Old Town and the starting point (Palace of Culture) are the only repeated stops across the two routes. So if you get off at one of the other stops, a bus won't be back by for another 2 hours.
- MaryHelen S00Worst HoHo EverCitySighting Warsaw is not the fun, efficient HopOn HopOff bus of other cities. It is not close to on time, the audio is not synched with the sights, and ticketing at the door slows everything down.
- Anne Marie h00Paid money but no bus turned upTook blue line to old town arrived at 12.00 at 2.45 no bus had turned up rain started had to get taxi home. What to do tomorrow with our 2day ticket!
- Ted S00Avoid. I’m surprised they are able to keep their franchiseWe regularly use hop on hop off red busses. But this is dreadful! Poor commentary missing key things such as the main square memorial and major buildings. Inane music when they should be celebrating Chopin. Route diversions without explanation. And worse! The timetables are wrong in the lamp posts and some stops are t marked! Very little history of Warsaw or Poland but lots of plugs for museums without going near them. Save your money! Most of my reviews score highly. Not not not this one
- David O00Dont book this wrack2 lines=1 lines 1 bus every 2 hours 1 bus for all the City Dinner break 2pm To 3pm End off service 5pm Black doors let open during the driving
- AussieBelton00Christopher made the tour special! The tour was more than we could have asked for. We were tired and it was cold outside so we decided to do this. Chris took us to a variety of destinations, including many we would have not know about. He also recommended some restaurants for us. The one thing we all kept thinking was how his energy was amazing. You can tell he loved his job and his excitement helped make the tour special.
- carolinegrant31200Hop on hop offThe quickest and cheapest way to travel around a whole city. I caught the red bus on Old Town and left at Lazienki bus stop to see the park and palace. After some hours I came back to the bus and travelled comfortably to the centre. Next day I started from 10 a.m. to 12 to see the most interesting places and to know what is worth seeing. My driver spoke a little English but he understood what I was looking for and was helpful indeed.
- Adriana D00No punctuality, the tour was reduced to the half without letting us know. The worst ever!!I typically take this type of tour when I visit new cities, but without doubt, this was the worst I have take. Some many bad things to say about this tour that I don't know where to star: * even when they offer two lines tour (read and blue), only the red was available. * their page is the worst ever, so it's almost impossible to find the stops. The map you have in the page is pixelated. * they were no puntual * from the 6 stops, they removed three from the list without letting us know, so the tour was reduce to the half - red line
- Jasmine A00Excellent sightseeing during cold weatherWe use City Sightseeing everywhere we go and this one is also great. Very friendly staff, discount booklet, interesting routes, informative commentary Great look at the city sights. In the winter time 24h ticket is enough as it's too cold to do sightseeing outside, but in the summer it may not be enough The funny things were that the bus looked like a Xmas tree inside. Lots of decorations and Xmasy lights. Warm and cosy. Kids absolutely loved it!

For those who are time short this was a good way to see the city using both the red and blue line without getting off the original bus. Headphones and language selection worked. Commentary and staff excellent. Buses on time.

So the premise behind this is you have an audio tour whilst the bus is driving between destinations. However, after you get given a cheap set of earphone and plug them into the audio player, all you hear is a mumbled voice speaking over INSANE AMOUNTS OF STATIC. I was so frustrated that I couldn't make out what the guide was saying I gave us and ended up treating this as an expensive bus ride.
Just get a public bus for 70p or do a walking tour instead

I'm 73 and this is my first review actually ( a little encouraged by the driver) butthey deserved it. However it is not our first bus tour.
This one was extraordinary. Since the start - very helpful hostess helped me to get into the bus and climb up the stairs, while my husband was buying the ticket. We got our masks and gloves. The driver wished me and my husband a great day. Everywhere was clean and there was a smell of a sanitiser which made me feel safe given the situation with the coronavirus.
I was delighted with Warsaw and could not believe I haven't seen this city before! So full of interesting stories, places, history.
Great, laud commentary, which is important for me and my husband - in some places you can hardly hear anything.
If there was more dots to give I would have give 10:)

What I liked most is the fact that I can do both lines on one bus without getting off. Within 2,5 hours of convenient trip We saw everything. Not expensive ticket approx 20€, bought on the bus makes a great deal.

Great tour. Excellent driver. We chose to travel on the HOHO bus on our first day. We stayed on for both routes before deciding our first Hop Off stop. Great commentary. Helped us on our second day to choose where to visit. Well worth doing.

We have used hop on hop off buses in many countries over the past 6 years to familiarize ourselves with the cities we are about to explore....unfortunately the bus trip we did today was appalling.
The first & only bus was 10am, 20 mins late it arrived with a huge queue waiting! It took another 15 mins to get the people on the bus. Poor organisation as in other cities someone is at the stop to purchase tickets & then we can all board effortlessly. This is the only bus to do both the red & blue lines. After a round trip we then got off at desired stop at 12pm to the Jewish museum for 95mins went to bus stop & waited & waited till 3.15pm still no bus so paid 25 Zloty for a taxi to take us to the Old Town. Unfortunately we bought a 48hr hop on hop off pass to explore Warsaw...don't imagine we are going to see much tomorrow either!! This is the worst service we have ever used in any city & we have used hop on hop off buses a lot ( approx 12 cities)
Other people were unhappy too & also waiting for the bus to arrive. Poorly organized with just 1 bus to service lots of people around a large city....
Also many seats no longer had the earphone socket to put the earphone into...ridiculous!
Please don't bother to use hop on hop off red bus in Warsaw!!

City Sightseeing in Warsaw is awful! Look carefully at the schedule — buses run just about 6 hours per day with about an hour break in the middle of the day where apparently the buses just stop running. The buses come to the stops at intervals of an hour or more so if you barely miss one, be prepared for a long wait, and in some areas there really isn’t much to see beyond the specific reason you hopped off in the first place. And if a bus is running extremely late, they’ll claim the situation was “beyond their control” if you ask for a refund. No matter what you do, NEVER purchase your ticket in advance online. They clearly did not provide the service to us, yet they want to fight about the refund because the delay was “beyond their control”....yet they made no effort to contact us to let us know. Absolutely awful to deal with.
I’m just annoyed I had to give it even one star. Where is the ZERO option???

Dear Sir, thank You for the opinion, but I have to disagree. Each capital city has its own rush hours and the traffic problems, so don't blame us for it here, in Warsaw. If the bus stuck in the middle of the row somewhere, there is no possibility to be on time and that's the situation beyond the company's control. I hope everybody even with a little experience would understand that.
Anyway, the same thing is with "missing" bus - if do not so, there is always the leaflet with timetable available on the deck to pick up to avoid such case.
I wish You more pleasant trips everywhere You decide to go.

We bought the 1 day Hop on/hop off bus ticket while on vacation in Warsaw. We decided to pick it up from the Central station, and it arrived promptly as described on the schedule. It was easy to spot, and we had no issues finding it. We had bought online tickets through Tripadvisor, and we did find an issue with showing the electronic version (we were told once on the bus that we needed a paper/printed out copy of the tickets) so we had to email our confirmation voucher to the bus driver, which was a little odd, but ultimately worked out well. Be advised then, that paper tickets are needed if tickets are bought online! Super reasonably priced as well, we paid $36 for 2, which was awesome! We were able to see a bunch of sights during the tour (blue line), and took the whole route once and then remained on the bus until the Old Town stop at which we got out to see Old Town. We toured Old Town for the rest of the day so we did not get back on, however we noticed that the bus stopped a number of times in Old Town. We found it quite reliable! The audio tour provided a reasonably good explanation of the different sites, and it was a nice touch that the bus had a list of the different languages on the actual back of the seats so you don't have to try every single number until you find your language. The bus driver also was very pleasant and helpful given our ticket situation as above. Would definitely take the Hop on/hop off bus again if in Warsaw in the future. Would recommend! Would definitely not have been able to see as much without it given the significant distance it covers - from center of town to Old Town.

Can' t comment on the tour at all because we never got on a bus or even saw one. The tickets came as part of the Warsaw Pass. We waited several places for a long time and no bus EVER showed up. At a museum we waited about 30 minutes past the pick up time. We asked museum attendant about the pick up and timetable. His reply, "Sometimes they come."

I would like to know where is that first stop f the bus and what time is the first bus tour.
Also I have a question about Old Town tour, is it on the bus or is it walking, also is it included in the hop on bus or do I have to sign up somewhere else. And when the first tour of it will be.

Hello, I would like to book hop on hop off bus but I'd like to know where the first stop is and what time the bus starts in the morning. Also is the tour of the old town on the bus tour or is it walking.

There are two lines, red and blue. We were there in February and the summer schedule will be different but the main start/stop is the Palace of Culture. We found that there weren't many buses running in winter (just two or three services) and they started quite late (11:15). If it is no better in the summer, I'd recommend using the city transport unlimited travel ticket instead. The bus edges around the perimeter of the old town but any tours within are on foot. It's not a big area.
