A super fun way to see Wroclaw with lots of laughs and insider information along the way!
We decided to pre-book this experience while at home in the UK...And we are so glad we did! Our booking was for our first morning in Wroclaw having arrived the previous evening. Using Google maps we located the meeting point and met our guide who gave us our safety briefing and introduced the group to our dinky 3 wheeled scooters. The scooters are super easy to control and fun to ride. We all had radio headsets to wear so we could hear what our guide was saying throughout the tour. I wear two hearing aids that have bluetooth capability but unfortunately the headsets provided were not bluetooth enabled. I sort of managed to position the headset so that I could pick up some of what was saying, it wasn't ideal but did not suffer too much as our guide was aware of the issue and made extra efforts to ensure that I didn't miss out too much. We set off on a whistle stop tour of the city stopping briefly at historical and interesting locations around the city where our guide shared his extensive local knowledge of history, culture, and life in Wroclaw. There was time to take photographs and ask any questions. The whole tour took two hours but we were having so much fun the time passed so quickly. This experience is the perfect way to see the city highlights and helped us to take note of places that we wanted to explore further during the week of our stay. I would recommend it to anyone as a fantastic way to see the city and gain insider information. The scooter tour was one of the highlights of our trip and we had lots of laughs along the way. I am returning to Wroclaw this autumn with another friend and we will be booking this tour again.

Trip to WWII history in Silesia
I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in WWII history in this part of Silesia. It is quite a distance from Wroclaw to the the remote Riese underground sites and another longish trip to Gross Rosen so if you only have a short visiting period a car pick up and drop off is a good way to see a lot in the day. The driver was very efficient and very safety conscious, he sorted the tickets and access at both sites (then waiting in the car), the car was really comfortable and there was no pressure to rush in and out of the sites. It might seem a bit expensive but you are never likely to see these unique sites any other way in a weekend trip.

          Fab scooter tour
The meet up place is on a cobbled street, if you haven’t ridden a scooter like these before is isn’t the best place to learn , not easy to steer, but after a 10mins learning is was great 👍 would definitely use again

Would highly recommend Michel and his tours 10/10
We had a super 2 days with Michel. On day one we did the WW2 tour to Project Riese and Gross Rosen museum. We were collected on time at 9am, in a very comfortable vehicle, and from the outset, Michel was extremely knowledgeable and imparted the information in a very interesting way. He is a great conversationalist and really makes an effort to chat and talk to his customers. He is intelligent and up to date on current matters as well as historical, we found him so interesting. The tour was grim but great- we should never forget the horror of this time. The mystery of what the Nazis were up to with Project Riese is intriguing. The following day Michel met us for a walking tour of the city and again he was exceptional in his recalling and explanation of the history of that time, and in general. We enjoyed our time in his company and would highly recommend him to all.

          Fantastic tour of the city
This is an essential for any visitor of Wroclaw. I learnt so much and was fascinated throughout. Firstly, the guide is brilliant. So passionate and knowledgeable on all aspects of history (he even quoted the window tax in England that was in operation in the past. The majority of English people don't even know about that!). It is clear that he is so proud of his city and he has such an engaging and friendly style that you will be enthralled. The e-scooter is relatively easy to operate and is a great way to see all the delights that Wroclaw has to offer. This has absolutely made my trip. A truly wonderful experience and worth every penny.

          Interesting and fun. Recommend
Great fun riding the scooters. They were easy to ride and we covered a lot of ground. The info provided about the city was fascinating. We liked hearing so much about the history of Wrocław and particularly the many beautiful buildings. Was great to do on first arriving as it gave us a good overview and inspired us to see more

Brilliant fun! A perfect mix of having fun on an easy to use electric scooter and an informative tour of a beautiful city. Michael was very helpful and knew a lot about the city’s history. Great value for money and a lot of fun, thank you Michael.

          Highly recommended
This experience was recommended to us as a must see on our visit to Poland. It definitely was worth it. We were picked up from our hotel in Wroclaw in a van. There were no other tourists with us so we were able to be very comfortable on the 3.5 hour drive. The tour of the mines was amazing. There are lots of steps to get to the different levels but it was definetly worth it. The history of the mine, the sculptures, the grandeur of the large all was all amazing. It was a trip I will always remember. So worth the time it took to get there. If you have time I would highly recommend this tour.

Would recommend - thank you for a fun tour
We had a great tour. Micheal was friendly and knowledgeable. The scooters were fun if a little scary at first but we had a couple of minutes practice in a big quiet square and felt more confident. The time flew by and we got a good feel for the city with some knowledge about history, culture etc. It was like being shown around by a friend. I'd have quiet liked to have kept the scooter to get around on for the rest of the holiday! Thanks Micheal

I was hesitant to book a car and driver in Wroclaw using Trip Advisor. But at least the name Viator was familiar to me. Viator was pretty transparent about the actual provider of the private excursion, so I tried to book it directly with the real provider. But their website only had “Church of Peace Świdnica and Some Dull Nazi Bunker” (!!) and I wanted “[BOTH] Churches of Peace, in Świdnica and Jawor”, the latter being only on Viator’s menu. When I confirmed (as advised to) with the provider, I said I would have preferred to book directly with them and give them all the money. They said, in effect, “Yeah, we know it’s not all on our own website.”

Our driver was on time (9AM at the Doubletree by Hilton), cheerful, well-informed, and knew the area very well. Our huge 8-passenger minivan was very comfortable for 2. It turns out that the site (but not the church!) in Jawor is much smaller than in Świdnica, and does not have toilets. When I asked, the ticket lady gave me a paper flyer for a pub about 200’ away. They did not mind our arrival at all, and besides volunteering 4 Zl. for the toilet use, I bought a 3 Zl. 33ml draft beer. When I told the driver about the beer, he did not think that anyone had 3 Zl. beers anymore!

Each church was superb in its own way, and I am very glad to have seen both. The photos of the Nazi bunker looked very bare and missable. However, there is also a pairing of one church and a castle/mansion that might appeal to other visitors. Because of miserable highway traffic and rubbernecking of an accident in the other divided-highway direction, we did not get back to our hotel until 2 PM, an hour late. (No charge for that, of course.)

Because I made a rookie mistake in my Trip Advisor booking, I had to use the interface’s options to Change Pickup Point and Change Tour Date. I was far enough in advance that I was told There Will Be No Charge For This Change. That was a really good internet experience! So this is a very sincere Positive Review.
