Let yourself be surprised by the rocks of Adrspach - a national nature reserve in the Czech Republic, Immerse yourself in the real-life locations seen on-screen in the fantasy film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. After a scenic two-hour trip from Wrocław, you will arrive at the picturesque village of Adrspach on the Czech-Polish border. Walk through the extensive city of rocks, which forms a maze of impressive gorges. During the walk, enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the bizarre rock formations, with their different names such as: Lovers, Mayor and Mayor, Sugar Bread, Tooth Karkonosch between the others. One of the main highlights is a beautiful waterfall surrounded by the rocks bewitched Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the most famous German poet of Romanticism who visited the rocks in 1790. After the walk has a free time or lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a planet ride back to Wroclaw.

      Wroclaw’s charm
The colorful market square, unique architecture, and fascinating history were brought to life by our guide. A wonderful way to explore Poland’s lesser-known gems.

I’ll leave you to make up your own mind after visiting this place. For me it was a very sobering experience. Excellent communication from travel company, prompt pick up, clean vehicle, clean and safe driving in difficult weather conditions, knowledgeable driver, excellent tour guide.

Wonderful Experience on a Sobering Day
I highly recommend booking the Auschwitz-Birkenau Day Tour through Viadrina. Our guide, Mathias, picked us up promptly from our hotel and coordinated getting the English guided tour tickets through the Auschwitz Memorial and Museum so that all we had to do was show up. He was a great driver in the rainy weather and we appreciated the history of Wroclaw, Lower Silesia, and Lesser Poland he provided along our drive. Note that there were only two of us plus Mathias for our drive and we were picked up in a small car. I'm not sure if Viadrina ever does bus tours. As we neared Auschwitz, Mathias offered to stop for a quick breakfast before starting our 8am tour which was also appreciated. Last comment I'll make - we called Viadrina to book our tickets last minute due to a scheduling error and Viadrina/Mathias were incredibly helpful in organizing a last minute day tour for us! While I don't recommend booking last minute, it shows that Viadrina will go above and beyond for their customers.

What an amazing but moving experience!!!
It was an amazing but moving experience at Auschwitz and Birkenau day trip. Adam, the driver who picked us up from the apartment in Wroclaw was so friendly and full of information to share with us along the way up to Auschwitz. He is well informed and knows well the history of the place. During our 3hr drive to and from Auschwitz he stopped us twice each way for a toilet and coffee break. The guide lady (sorry I forgot her name) was very well informed too and shared her knowledge of the place outstandingly. Well done to everyone and thank you for this once in a lifetime experience 🙏

      Great guides, busy tour
Maciej was a great guide. I was alone, but he made it very comfortable and was able to get me to the site to make the first tour. The tour itself is extremely busy, so a bit hard to fully take in the reality of the site. But the educator on the tour was also great. It is definitely a tour worth doing.

We booked this as a last minute excursion from Wrocław and I’m so glad we did! By far one of my favourite things done during my trip to Poland (even though it’s in the Czech Republic.)

We followed the green trail around the park, taking roughly 2 hours to complete- it took a bit longer as we took some detours + snow. The walk itself was very easy to do, I imagine it would be easier in warmer weather but in conditions we did it in I would still recommend to people with minimal hiking experience. The only thing I would say, if you’re heading out when it’s cold, watch your step on the stairs as they’re a bit all over the place. Without snow I reckon they’d be okay though.

The national park was beautiful. Not that the weather is in its control but being able to experience such place in snow was a one of a kind experience and a first for me so I was well and truly blown away by it all! I love a rock as much as the next person but these ones were something else. The peace you feel whilst walking around a place like this is hard to describe, the silence of your surroundings really allows you to take it all in.

Although it might seem a bit daunting going to a place like this out of season when it’s cold and snowy I would highly recommend doing it- just make sure you’re wearing appropriate footwear- I wore dr marten boots (silly of me i know) and I slipped a good three times 🥲

I’m off to watch Narnia now and tell everyone I’ve been there- never thought I’d be able to say that!

Had a fantastic day touring the Adrspach rocks led by Maciej. The site is absolutely beautiful, no wonder so many film crews have used it for location shooting. Maciej is a great guide- picked us up on time, drove us to a stop for lunch and during the tour provided lots of interesting facts about the knowledge the local area industry, history of the area and folklore.
Cannot recommend the tour enough, it’s a must!

We stayed in Wroclaw so took the trip from here. Good meeting place easy to find. It really is a wonderful place to visit, amazing nature, it all started under the ocean! Great transfer there and back, Adam our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to take in the sights and photos. We loved this experience and would definately recommend this tour company

This park is a truly magical place with breathtaking scenery around every corner. Our guide, Adam, was so pleasant and knowledgeable, sharing information about the history of Poland, the geography of the area and tidbits about everyday life. He really allowed us to take our time. Pickup and drop-off were very easy and convenient. A great way to spend a day when you are ready to get away from the city. Highly recommend!!

This trip is a must while in Wroclaw as a day trip. A true hidden wonder in the middle of nowhere which was honestly worth every penny. Our tour guide Mat was really kind and helpful too. My mother need a little more assistance because of the snow and slippery stairs, he helped her with the climb holding her hand and taking it easy. Thank you very much.

The rock formations are stunning and it is an amazing place to visit. It was a little crowded, but not enough to spoil our visit. Our main problem was working out how to visit and so I thought that I would write this review to help others. My daughter and I are travelling around the Czech Republic, using public transport. We stayed in Trutnov for 2 nights informer to spend a day at the national park. When we got there, I checked Google Maps to find out how to get there. I had originally planned the trip nearly a way ago and completely forgotten the finer details. According to Google Maps there was no way to get there. There were no buses or trains. We went to the tourist office and was told that there was actually a train that went every 2 hours but had we booked? I had no idea that you had to book and so quickly went to the park website and the one time slot available was 5pm. The last train back was at 7.44pm and so I would have barely any time there. I asked if there was anything else I could do in the area and was told no. I was devastated because we had only come to that town to see the rocks. I spent ages online and eventually discovered that there was a very simple and better way to see them. Get off the train one stop after Adrspach at Teplice Nad Metuji Skaly. It is just another couple of minutes. Leave the station and turn left. After a couple of minutes you will arrive at an area of stalls. Use the (free) public toilet and buy a ticket for the park. There are no timed entries here. We walked all the way through to the Adsprach side. If you don't want to walk that far, the rocks on the Teplice side are just as good and there are not the crowds that there are on the Adsprach side.

It was raining and we were slightly late but Maciej waited for us. Not the best weather to visit Adršpach but the rick formations are amazing and pretty! Relatively easy walk for someone with normal stamina. Marciej was great as well, bringing us around to show us the key formations.
