What to Expect
Berlin is the capital city of Germany and one of the 16 states (Länder) of the Federal Republic of Germany. Berlin is the largest city in Germany and has a population of 4.5 million within its metropolitan area and 3.5 million from over 190 countries within the city limits.

Berlin is best known for its historical associations as the German capital, internationalism and tolerance, lively nightlife, its many cafés, clubs, bars, street art, and numerous museums, palaces, and other sites of historic interest. Berlin's architecture is quite varied. Although badly damaged in the final years of World War II and broken apart during the Cold War, Berlin has reconstructed itself greatly, especially with the reunification push after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

It is now possible to see representatives of many different historic periods in a short time within the city centre, from a few surviving medieval buildings near Alexanderplatz, to the ultra modern glass and steel structures at Potsdamer Platz. Because of its tumultuous history, Berlin remains a city with many distinctive neighbourhoods. Brandenburger Tor is a symbol of division during the world war, which now shows German reunification. It was built after the Acropolis in Athens and was completed in 1799 as the royal city-gate.

Germany was later on divided into east and west, In August 13,1961, East Germans permanently closed the border between East and West. The wall had 45,000 sections of reinforced concrete and included 79 miles of fencing, nearly 300 watchtowers and 250 guard dogs. Still more than 5,000 people escaped to freedom.

Grand E-scooter tour
We had a wonderful morning in the sunshine on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and his tour was both fascinating and moving. I was a scooter novice but they are easy to get used to. I would thoroughly recommend this activity if you are visiting Wroclaw.

Fun tour
Had a great time on the tour. Michal was friendly and informative about all the places we passed and stopped at. A fun alternative to the usual walking or buggy tours.

Great way to see the city and knowledgeable guide
This was a fantastic way to see the city and the scooters were extremely easy to drive. Michal did a great job of explaining the history of the city and pointing out sites to which we returned later. We actually ran into him a couple of times after that and found out that he does other tours as well so would recommend looking at all services he offers when planning your trip.

Churches of Peace via Viator thru Trip Advisor
I was hesitant to book a car and driver in Wroclaw using Trip Advisor. But at least the name Viator was familiar to me. Viator was pretty transparent about the actual provider of the private excursion, so I tried to book it directly with the real provider. But their website only had “Church of Peace Świdnica and Some Dull Nazi Bunker” (!!) and I wanted “[BOTH] Churches of Peace, in Świdnica and Jawor”, the latter being only on Viator’s menu. When I confirmed (as advised to) with the provider, I said I would have preferred to book directly with them and give them all the money. They said, in effect, “Yeah, we know it’s not all on our own website.” Our driver was on time (9AM at the Doubletree by Hilton), cheerful, well-informed, and knew the area very well. Our huge 8-passenger minivan was very comfortable for 2. It turns out that the site (but not the church!) in Jawor is much smaller than in Świdnica, and does not have toilets. When I asked, the ticket lady gave me a paper flyer for a pub about 200’ away. They did not mind our arrival at all, and besides volunteering 4 Zl. for the toilet use, I bought a 3 Zl. 33ml draft beer. When I told the driver about the beer, he did not think that anyone had 3 Zl. beers anymore! Each church was superb in its own way, and I am very glad to have seen both. The photos of the Nazi bunker looked very bare and missable. However, there is also a pairing of one church and a castle/mansion that might appeal to other visitors. Because of miserable highway traffic and rubbernecking of an accident in the other divided-highway direction, we did not get back to our hotel until 2 PM, an hour late. (No charge for that, of course.) Because I made a rookie mistake in my Trip Advisor booking, I had to use the interface’s options to Change Pickup Point and Change Tour Date. I was far enough in advance that I was told There Will Be No Charge For This Change. That was a really good internet experience! So this is a very sincere Positive Review.

Taking the stress out of transport to airport
A professional, efficient, group that delivers what they promise! Our driver spoke English and made us as comfortable as anyone could. They came, on time, in the middle of the night to get us for an early flight and helped with luggage and made it all so easy. Love this company! Recommended !! Use them before a taxi service because you can trust them.

Wow totally amazing
Totally an amazing experience. Well worth a visit. Amazed how those miners worked down in those conditions and in their spare time created some spectacular sculptures. Be prepared to walk down approximately 400 steps and walk about 3km. Believe you me your legs feel like jelly Our guide was good and knowledgeable. There’s a place to shop at the end of your tour and a cafe if you have timo. Only downside to our tour not enough time to browse.

Definitely a must see
The ride out took around 2 hours. The trip was worth every cent as the rocks were fantastic. The crowd was rather crowded as we were there during the summer holidays. There were human jams around the narrower and steeper areas of the trail. The tour brought us on the tourist walking trail which was good to showcase the main sights of the park. The entire park is much larger and there is another entrance on the side side of the park, which would have been nice to explore if we had the time. I like that the guide was very considerate of each person’s fitness levels. The trail is fairly even with some steps. I didn’t find it strenuous but there were some who did. The guide was nice enough to check if everyone was alright from time to time and point them in the direction of the exit wherever possible. At the end of the trail, we took a walk around the lake. That took another 30min and it was great. The tour wasn’t rushed and the guide ensured that we had time to see our fill and take photos to our hearts content.

We had a great trip with Michal the tourguide along all kind of Wroclaws’ hotspots. He’s a very entousiastic guide who can tell a lot about the city and Polish history. Definitly a must when you spend a few days in this great city.

Great fun & informative too
I had been in touch with this tour prior to booking due to the various ages of our group & our unpredictable arrival time in the city. Mikeal was very accommodating & communicated well. After a later start than expected due to an electrical problem, we met at the designated location & were given a quick tutorial on the use of the scooters. They took a little getting used to (even though we are avid bike/scooter riders) but we were up & running within minutes. We all had headsets to use which allowed us to hear the guide even when not within a few feet & when we stopped near traffic. Mikeal is very informative & obviously knows & loves his city very much. We all enjoyed the experience & would highly recommend it. If you have small children, it might be a bit difficult to maneuver the scooter as they will have to ride along with an adult but teenagers & above will love it. Yes, it's a wee bit silly looking but none the less, a great way to see Wroclaw in a short period of time while saving your feet from lots of walking.

Super Fun!
My friend Joanne and I took the E-Scooter Tour in Wroclaw which we thought was so fun! Our guide told us to call him Michael to make it easier but can't quite remember exactly how to spell his real name. He was amazing, very knowledgeable, patient and a great sport because we wanted to stop everywhere for photos. It had rained literally minutes before our tour so we postponed it for about 30 min until it cleared. He was very nice in accommodating us which others may have canceled the tour all together. We barely finished the tour when it started to rain again but it was so well worth it. The E-Scooter was so much fun and we were laughing the whole time. Such a great experience and learned so much!

Fun, informative tour of Wroclaw
Always keen to try something different, the e-scooters were an entertaining new way to see a new town (and Wroclaw is great) and Micha proved an excellent guide, immediately comfortable to be with and keen to inform and answer questions. The e-scooters were easy to get to use and more exciting than they look. Getting older will be fun if it means we get to use more of these bad boys!
