- racheld8900 contributionsWonderful and unique experienceThis was a highlight of our trip! Olga is very welcoming - it felt like we were visiting with friends. Pierogi making was fun and instructive, and the best part was enjoying our hard work and feasting at the end. Highly recommend!Written November 19, 2022

The experience with Olga was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by Olga’s energetic and full of life character which really topped of the experience. I learned how to make the perfect dumplings and will for sure repeat what I have learned at home. The fresh market had lots to offer with Olga getting us to try some new things to enhance our taste buds. She was welcoming, offered tea, coffee, snacks and even topped it off with a greatly made hooch.
Overall, me and my partner are more than satisfied with the experience and would highly recommend anyone that is visiting Krakow to attend.

Olga was uh-mazing. We had a lovely time with superb ingredients and an overall fun experience. It was highly interactive (if you want it to be less interactive I’m sure she can simply show you things) and provided a great insight to a traditional polish food and it tasted great too! Olga also discussed what we had planned for our trip and recommended great aspects of Krakow (and other polish spots) to check out. I would recommend to do this at the beginning of your trip like we did so you have a good idea of what to do or not do while here. The value was great and we intend to return to the market and visit some of the recommended sites. We are here while Krakow is accepting refugees and the city feels extremely safe. If you are deciding whether or not to come, I would recommend it AND doing this experience. Meeting location was easy for us and she gave us a good “lay of the land”. Snacks were also provided that were delicious (straight from the fresh farmers market). Thanks Olga!!
Fresh farmers cheese, pickles, eggs and more cant be beat- book her today !!!

Olga was very easy to talk to and made exploring the market feel natural and fun. She made sure we had delicious snacks before we started our cooking and created a comfortable atmosphere to learn in. Her instruction style was gentle with some hands on help when needed. The pierogis were amazing and we all enjoyed them together in her cozy home, in an experience that felt relaxed, authentic, and unique.

What a fun, educational cultural experience. It was a great way to begin my time in Krakow. Walking through the market and learning about selection of the best ingredients was a great start. Then from beginning to end it was a hands on experience.Olga has ruined me for the majority of restaurant pierogis as her recipe resulted in the most tender and flavorful. My only regret is that I did not receive the recipe and would love to try them at home.

A warm, delicious, interesting event. You meet at the monument, then walk a little to the market which is a real treat! Olga buys snacks there, taking any suggestions and talking about the various products' origins. Then a short walk and up a few stairs to her nice apartment. Each person gets to make their own dough, nibbling on the snacks with water, and then assembles the filling. Then the assembly fun begins! We made potato and onion pierogi, and Olga was fantastic at developing a group conversation.
Some of us were experienced cooks; other had less background but Olga made sure we were all successful!

This was a fabulous experience! We all met and walked together to the market. While there, she explained the offerings and what some of the things were used for. She also bought some of the supplies for our pierogis.
We then walked back to her apartment where she welcomed us in to begin the fun.
She was a patient, kind teacher. Several of us had no experience and she graciously taught us the special details to make an extraordinary dish.
I would highly recommend this, and will myself do it again if I return!

Olga was a fantastic hostess. She had timely and excellent communication and conducted an excellent cooking class for our family. She shared family traditions and recipes and made a personal connection with us. Our trip to the market was a highlight. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Olga was so sweet and welcomed us into her home to teach us about her culture. Getting to go to the market and learn about her language was so wonderful. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to make a new friend and immerse themselves in the culture!

What such a lovely experience we had today! If you’re considering something a bit different and wanting to do something authentic, this is definitely worth booking! Olga the host was amazing, to start, we had already needed to amend our booking because of poor planning on our behalf (sorry again!). I booked this as a Christmas present for my other half ahead of our stay, so this is perfect for gifts if you’re visiting krakow! Olga, was perfectly accommodating. We went to the local market & she explained to us about the local delicacies and where to find the local produce to make the perfect pierogi (which was also a family recipe!). We were given a very thorough and knowledgeable background of the source of the ingredients and how important they are when making the perfect pierogi. Not to mention buying snacks for us to try! Olga welcomed us into her home, where we made the pierogi from scratch, giving us clear instructions and explaining the process very well and the key points we need to remember if we wanted to make them in the future! We sat and talked and ate, and had a very pleasant experience overall. There was no rushing or pushiness either, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable morning / afternoon learning the techniques for the dough, as well as the method. Olga is very knowledgeable of her polish history and taught us a lot during our visit. She also gave us some recommendations on where to eat and where to visit during our time in krakow, which we will definitely try out! Thank you so much for this experience today, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Hi the money has been deducted from my account. Is the class happening on Friday 3rd March 2023 please?

We made sweet pierogi in our class as blueberries were in season. Olga is very accommodating so if you ask and the ingredients are in season, I am sure she will do sweet pierogi.
