About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- pab0530 contributionsExcellent tour of ZakopaneWe had a great day, our guide Pawel picked us up early for our trip to zakopane and a sleigh ride. Pawel didn’t stop telling us information about where we was. He really did make the trip and couldn’t do enough to help in any way, my partner is celiac so he was checking that she could eat.Written December 27, 2024
- Nelia8200 contributionsStairsThis museum is amazingly beautiful. 800 stairs is quite challenging not including the walking through the tunnels and corridors, whew 😅😅😅 we made it!Written November 1, 2024
- elizabethlU2307SL0 contributionsCould find something better to do then thisOur tour guide recently mentioned he just received a 1 star review. I guess I’ll be his next. First regarding the tour- the agenda said we would go to certain spots and we didn’t. That’s misleading and I didn’t appreciate that, we also didn’t cover anything about the Krakow Dragon. Simply put from our 2 hour encounter he came off egotistical. He had some redeeming moments but I actually felt a little bad for the guy, seems to me that he has low self esteem…. He was also fat-phobic so if you are heavy and don’t want to leave not feeling great… Don’t come. Especially when dealing with tourists from various parts of the world not knowing what their situation is or health conditions…I wouldn’t recommend as he made 2 random comments which had nothing to do with the content of the tour. This man surely lacks emotionally intelligence.Written October 30, 2024
- josouthie010 contributionsUse these for your trip to the Salt minesI have been before , this time I travelled with my friend who had not experienced this, we had a great day, the tour guide was great spoke fantastic English.Written September 16, 2024
- aaronmP1285JY0 contributionsPerfect mix of Legend and InformationExactly what I was looking for in a creepy tour. Good mix of historical information and legend. Guide did a wonderful job and was extremely informative.Written September 15, 2024
- Peter P0 contributionsGreat experienceReally amazing place to visit. Just a warning for people being sold tickets off site. There is no fast pass as some ticket sellers suggest to get extra money. And be careful of the taxis outside. They will try and rip you off unless you get a fixed priceWritten August 8, 2024
- 553krist_nb0 contributionsEveryone should see Creepy Krakow!Excellent walk around Krakow's old town, hearing all the exiting creepy stories from all of Krakow's long history. The guide is friendly and funny and very skilled in his profession. Adults and kids alike were very happy and the two hours could easily have been four. We are starting to learn a Hebrew prayer in case we meet Ester in the park! We highly recommend this walk for everyone!Written August 5, 2024
- Cindy P0 contributionsDon't miss this tour!Wow! A must see tour. You will not be disappointed. Yes, there are approximately 830 stairs, but it is all down hill and you take an elevator at the end. The tour was well organized and our tour guide was just fabulous.Written July 29, 2024
- 302dannap0 contributionsTOUR GUIDE PAWEL IS #1!!We had a spectacular tour guide named Pawel, and he gave the best experience with our group. He ensured we moved efficiently without rushing us, and is a wealth of information about the salt mine and its history. He very clearly loves what he does and is invested in giving guests a wonderful tour experience. He was incredibly adaptable when any hiccups in flow occurred (someone felt sick, he immediately and seamlessly accompanied her to safety; any bottlenecks with other tour groups were handled in such a way that our experience was totally unaffected, etc).Written May 10, 2024
- bgunnarb0 contributionsFascinating salt mine with long historyThe salt mine is very fascinating given its long history. Amazing sculptures everywhere. You also have to admire all constructions made to stabilise the mine, get water out of the mine etc. A true wonder of engineering skill. Some things to think about: This is a mine with a lot of stairs. You descend on staircases a couple of hundred meters, that is a lot of steps to walk down. But they will carry you back to the surface in the miners lift. If you are a part of a large group it can be difficult to hear the guide. The acoustics are not very good in the large rooms.Written April 20, 2024
- nickymL5959OW0 contributionsGreat experience, meeting point needs to be clearerGreat place to go and see. What an experience the only negative the meeting point is very vague, made contact very easy with an advisor and eventually found out where we needed to goWritten January 30, 2024
- lpicott0 contributionsMuseum great, tour not recommended.Tour guide was fine but group was way too large for the environment. Also very poor earpiece provided making it difficult to hear. Rooms quite small with narrow interconnecting corridors not good for large groups, also when lots of background noise from exhibits. Better way to do this is to just go on individual tickets. Way more than 1.5 hours (length of tour) required to get the best out of this fascinating place.Written September 6, 2022
- colinrC578FJ0 contributionsWanderful ExperianceIt is an amazing experience, Wear Sturdy footwear as there are a lot of steps, but at the end there is a wonderful lift that whisks you back to the top,Written September 18, 2020
