About
Visiting the Wawel Royal Castle we have the opportunity to feel and imagine what the backstage of the rulers' lives looked like.
Discovering the secrets of the Castle will be an unforgettable lesson that will take you to the "golden times" of the Polish Kingdom.
After the tour you will have a traditional Polish lunch (soup + main course). And after that you will be taken to Wieliczka.
Wieliczka - a small town 10 km from Krakow, where one of the largest ancient salt mines in Europe (700 years). The depth of the mine is 340 metres, the total length of corridors and tunnels is over 245 kilometres.
The tourist route is more than 3 km long and includes more than 20 halls, including the largest and unique St. Kinga's Church - the patroness of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings and sculptures of saints carved out of salt. There is a special curative microclimate in the mine and at a depth of 135 m there is a sanatorium.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JodyO8150 contributionsGreat walking tour! This was a very informative and interesting walking tour! Our guide was very enjoyable! Schindler’s Factory was very good!Written September 12, 2024
- TomH6820 contributionsWojciec our Guide was superb!Great guide wojciec who expertly explained the city’s experience during the nazi occupation and Schindler’s role in that time. I wouldn’t recommend doing this visit without a guide as there is so much to take in. Wojciec explained everything so well and was very engaging.Written September 12, 2024
- R4843ZOwolfgangf0 contributionsGood experience... but something missing..The whole experience was quite eye opening, but at times it seemed to be a genuine history of Poland's occupation during World War 2, and very little insight was given about Schindler himself and his work, whom the building is known for. The tour guide was very informative in general and highly recommend this to all.Written September 10, 2024
- grayser20170 contributionsDidn't get in!So I have no idea what it was like, but I can tell you not to go on the free Monday - we joined a massive queue at 10.50am (it opens at 10) and just as we got to the door at 12.20pm they closed the place to all those waiting - no warning, no apology etc - just locked the door and put up a sign saying no tickets left. It shuts at 2pm on a Monday so whilst understanding they have to limit numbers to manage a phased closure, 100 minutes shy of the actual closing time is bonkers.Written September 10, 2024

- CrabV0 contributionsUnforgettable experience! The guide was extremely knowledgeable, informative and pleasant. There are a lot of pictures and a lot of information to take in. Disappointed we couldn’t linger at every exhibit because we had to stay with the group. It definitely is still worth doing the tour because it is so informative.Written September 4, 2024
- ed45cdo0 contributionsFirst class tour guideMy wife and I had booked the 1130 tour but due to traffic our taxi missed our time slot, so I cancelled to try to rebook for 1200, but unfortunately didn’t read that once cancelled within 24 hours we had lost our booking and deposit. However the Excursion City staff made a quick phone call and we were booked in without any hassle so I would definitely recommend using this tour company. We were then introduced to Helena our guide around the museum and what a god send this was. Helena is a local historian with personal stories from WW2 and had lost her grandfather during the war which made the tour extra special and very emotional. We highly recommend this tour company and if you can get Helena as your guide you will definitely not be disappointed she’s amazing!Written September 2, 2024
- jerry_mattern0 contributionsSo much history. A must place to visit when you’re in Krakow. This is a must place you need to visit when you’re in Krakow. Depending on where you’re staying – I was in old town– It’s about 2 miles away so either plan on doing a doable walk or take an Uber. Our tour guide was awesome, however, it’s a very busy and packed place so if you do a tour, it might feel fast-paced and Not as intimate as others. There wasn’t much Q&A amongst her and the tourist. Not that she wouldn’t want that it’s just that there wasn’t time because we always had to keep moving. To be in a place like this, after reading about it and seeing the films and television shows, is a whole different experience. When you book this or come here, please no that the actual factory Next door is now an art museum. This is the administrative building which was turned into a museum. Don’t let that deter you because there’s a lot of history to take in. If you don’t do the tour and just come here, you might be able to take your time but not learn as much as you would from having a tour guide. I’d recommend doing the tour.Written August 28, 2024
- SkyTripper170 contributionsSchindler Factory TourThis place is very popular and I highly recommend taking a guided tour. It is a great way to get the history and you stop at each point in the museum to look around. While we were in there a lot of solo people would try to come through and our group was in the room so it made it hard for them to see. On top of that our guide was amazing and knowledgeable and really knew how to present the information to get the best experience. Highly recommend this!Written August 25, 2024
- joshua W0 contributionsJust book itWasn't what we expected we thought it would be a factory tour of the working factory but it wasn't it was memorabilia and a museum of items collect throughout the war the tour guide was fantastic and showed us around the different parts of the museum however I do feel like if I was to go back again I would just book to get in and have no tour due to feeling rushed and we did miss other partsWritten August 18, 2024
- John F0 contributionsWorth the blisters we will have tomorrowWe had a wonderful tour of Kazimierz, Schindler museum and ghetto. Our tour guide Barbara was excellent and full of knowledge on the areas we visited and very happy to answer questions we had. Highly reccommend this tour if like me you have interest in history.Written August 17, 2024
- Hamlot730 contributionsGreat guideI enjoyed the tour, but it was not so much about Scindler and the factory, but about Krakow before and during the war wich was interesting… I recommend doing this tour with a guide, you get a better understanding of the exhibition and you don’t need to stand in line to get in….Written August 10, 2024
- Catherine M0 contributionsGreat tourInteresting tour. Our tour guide was great didn’t feel too rushed The museum was well set out Earphones were great as you could everything the tour guide was sayingWritten August 6, 2024
- cem75ece0 contributionsSchindlers Factory and Ghetto Krakow ToursIt was an very learnful, interesting and emotional Tour. Very recomendable! The only improvable point would be: - The Schindlers Factory is inside pretty tight and because of also individual visitors there are no Space for the guided group and/or for the individual visitors. Smaller groups would be a solution or only group-tour possibilities.Written August 5, 2024
