A lovely trip out to see a different part of Poland. Everything was well organised and ran to time with no sense of being rushed. Chose this trip as we wanted to visit the Thermal baths as well as Zakopane. The other elements, although short, really helped explain the local ‘Highlander’ culture which is quite different to other parts of Poland. Zakopane was lovely and particularly from the top of the funicular looking across the valley. The Thermal baths was very professional with 2 hours just about the right length to enjoy the waters. Our guide was excellent in pointing out the sights, local cultures and historical background all explained with enthusiasm and an obvious respect for the local people. The drive wasn’t as long as we expected either but it is a full day. If you’ve been to Auschwitz and Salt Mines then can definitely recommend this tour as something different.

A friend and I booked this trip whilst staying in Krakow for a few nights last week and I genuinely couldn’t recommend booking this enough!
The minibus arrived around 8:30am to pick us up from our hotel and then picked up one other group on the way to the first stop. We were very lucky as we had really lovely other group join us.
Travelling in a minibus (8 passengers and our driver Mariusz) was so much more comfortable than a coach or bus!
I can’t believe how much was included for the price!
You stop at a few different locations throughout the day, at one of the first you get try locally made cheese and alcohol.
Another stop was a small mountain side village where you get about an hour to explore, take pictures, buy from local market stalls and stop for a drink.
My favourite stop was ski slope view. First you go up the side of a mountain on a ski lift (ticket included in the price) and then after you have about an hour or so for lunch in the main village near by and to shop.
After you’re done here I think we drove onto Terma Bania which was the Thermal springs where you have 3 hours to relax in the different hot water zones (one ‘fun’ zone with water slides etc., the second zone was more of an outside/inside relaxing zone and then the third (if you’d like to upgrade) is a nudist only section). We were in the second zone in the outside section where there was a swim up bar!
I think we got home around 8:15/8:30pm.
Overall the trip was such a lovely lovely day! I would go back in a second!
I would like to say a massive thank you to Mariusz, the driver/tour guide, who was incredible all day! He gave us great recommendations and was so lovely, he definitely made the trip better than it already was. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you had a great time on the trip with Cracow Top Tours. Zakopane and Hot Springs and a perfect combination of sightseeing and relaxation. A place located just 2 hours drive from Krakow and so culturally different from the rest of Poland, located among the mountains with beautiful views. We recommend it to everyone !!!

This was a great experience, I enjoyed all parts of it :) cheese and vodka was very nice, then we got 2 and a half hours to explore zakopane. We chose to spend most of this up the mountain as cable car tickets are included and there is quite a lot to do up there with lots of places to eat and drink, the views of are amazing too. We went to a nice traditional Polish place for lunch and then we went on this gravitational mountain slide which was like a slide along the mountain (not straight down but zigzagged around), that was really fun. We then made our way back to the meeting point, stopping at a shop on the way back to pick up souvenirs (you can buy the traditional cheese from here if you want).
We then carried on to the baths and we got 2 and a half hours here too. On first glance this does appear just to be like a normal swimming pool and I think if you are expecting it to be like a natural spring like in Iceland you might be disappointed, however, what I would say is take some time to explore and get to see the different areas. I much preferred the outdoor pool to the indoor ones which can get packed, and the water is very warm throughout so plenty warm enough to be outside. There are also some "healing pools" where you can bathe in special types of water that are beneficial for various ailments. I really enjoyed my time here, I found it very relaxing and felt recharged and refreshed after it.
Overall we had a great time and I would definitely do it again :)

I booked this tour for November 2022, entirely based on reading recent reviews about ‘Gregor’, the tour guide, and how knowledgeable he was along with his high understanding of English. I love to learn and often find it’s the guide that can make a good trip a great trip. Our guide however could not understand English, passed no knowledge to the group and used Google translate to let us know ‘we had 15 mins break at the garage to use the facilities’.
When we stopped to sample the cheese and vodka, another tour guide was being very informative with her group and telling them all about the history. Yet our guide just gave us a cheese and walked off.
At the thermal baths, we were walked to the door and were told ‘5.30’. No other information. The customers just looked at each other and we said we’d figure it out. During our time in the baths, my friend and I decided to try another section, which carried an additional fee. We scanned our bands and entered. It turns out, upon leaving, that that section was actually included in our ticket. So pleased that we decided to ‘pay’ otherwise we would have missed out, even though it was included. Information such as this would have been appreciated.
When we initially booked the tour we were told we would be contacted the day before the tour to inform us of our pick up time, Having not heard anything, I emailed Cracow Top Tours to ask, at which point I was asked where I was staying? This was all clearly communicated to CTT when I originally booked the trip. It was as if they had no idea who I was and that I was joining them. Had I not contacted them I’m sure we would have been overlooked and missed the trip.
I definitely recommend the trip, Zakopane, the area and it’s attractions are beautiful, however I do suggest you use another tour operator.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and I would recommend it to anyone. It really is a full day out. Pick up was exactly on time, 1st stop was to a small dwelling where they made and smoked goats cheese which was so tasty. If I was staying somewhere for cooking facilities I would’ve definitely bought some home. This was accompanied by some very tasty raspberry and cherry Vodka.
Next stop was the resort of zakopane which was lively with a ticket on the cable car included to the main ski runs, the views were incredible with some nice food and drink outlets available there. We then came back down and spent some time in zakopane. We had about 3hrs in total.
We then went on to the thermal spa which was a nice experience. We got there at a decent time as it was busy but not where you didn’t have any room. The swim up bar area has a great vibe. This is not on the scale of the blue lagoon in Iceland or thermal baths in Budapest but a decent visit.
Our guide Mariusz was a really nice guy who made sure everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. We had a some good conversations about the area and football….!
I would 100% recommend this trip so much so that I’m looking in to bringing my family here for a skiing trip next winter. you won’t be disappointed if you do this. It certainly felt good soaking the muscles after so much walking.

We had a brilliant day on this trip. Our tour guide Michael was very friendly and instantly made us feel comfortable. The coach ride was pleasant with toilet stops factored in.
Zakopane is beautiful and I could have spent so much longer there than 2.5 hours provided. We went up the funicular first and spent an hour at the top of the mountain where there are loads of stalls selling gifts and foods.
We then came back down the mountain and headed to a steak restaurant recommended by Michael. It was delicious and really affordable!
Michael changed the order of the day, as the shepherds hut was full of tourists in the morning. He re-jigged it so we went after the mountain and it meant we had the place to ourselves. The cheese was delicious (tasted like a smoked Halloumi) and he also gave us all a shot of Cherry Vodka.
We then headed to the Thermal Springs. The pools were lovely but very crowded and noisy. Don't expect spa like relaxation, it's just way too big and popular a resort for that. That being said, it's a lovely site. Where else can you sit in a really hot pool, in the snow, staring at the mountains with a cocktail in hand?! Cocktails were around 28Z each which works out about £5.60! Bargain! They also had a restaurant and snack bar inside but we didn't use those so cannot comment.
We went on several excursions during our time in Krakow but this one was by far my favourite and excellent value for money!

Cheese hut was fab, Zakopane and Thermal Springs were absolutely rammed. Wish we’d been warned it was Polish school holidays. The cable car to the top of the mountain was a squeeze (6 people on our bus struggled to get down due to the queues so ended up walking and being 20mins late!)
As for the thermal spring, in all honesty it was nothing more than a heated outdoor swimming pool. Again it was jam packed with families with children (I have no issue with that but when you couldn’t get into a jacuzzi cos it was packed, and once you’d don’t the hot pool there wasn’t much else to do. We were told there was a bar in the hot pool, there wasn’t! 2.5ths for is was way too long. We did an hour and they included getting into and out of our swimwear!

My daughter and I did this trip for her 20th birthday.
It was fantastic! The communication was brilliant, with WhatsApp messages keeping us informed on pick up etc.
The trip was perfectly timed and our guide was lovely and helpful, making sure we felt comfortable and knew where we were going and when we had to be back etc.
zakopane is stunning and the thermal spa was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink in the snow.
The staff at the thermal spa weren’t very friendly but that wasn’t the fault of the tour provider.
We had some people on our trip who were not happy with the staff at the spa, but I hope this isn’t reflected in their review because the tour and our driver were absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend.

Amazing!!! The day started at around 8:50AM and we headed towards the town of Zakopane, stopping off at a small village along the way to see the traditional wooden houses, and try some traditional sheep’s cheese and vodka, which were all super lovely! Our tour guide was Joanna who was super informative and lovely, the weather was super snowy which was so nice.
We then headed towards Zakopane reaching there at around 12pm, we had time to ride the cable car up to the mountain and explore up there, before heading onto the Main Street, where we explored shops and got some lunch, we had around 2.5 hours there, the only annoying thing was that because of the weather we couldn’t see the mountain at all but we didn’t mind the snow, it was lovely.
We then headed towards the thermal springs and got there around 3:15pm, we had around 2.5 hours in the springs and oh wow were they the highlight of the experience, truly amazing!

The bus picked customers up either at a hotel or at a designated pick up spot in your area of town. We stayed in a hostel and got picked up about 5 minutes from our door.
